Claims
1. A display device comprising: a display control unit that displays text on a signage display while scrolling it; an end determination unit that determines whether the scrolling of the text by the display control unit has ended; and a signal transmission unit that, when the end determination unit determines that the scrolling has ended, transmits a signal indicating that the scrolling has ended to a terminal device.
2. The display device according to claim 1, characterized in that the text includes text in multiple languages, the display control unit displays the text in each language on the signage display while scrolling it, the completion determination unit determines whether the display control unit has finished scrolling the text in each language, and the signal transmission unit, when the completion determination unit determines that the scrolling of the text in each language has finished, transmits a signal indicating that the scrolling of the text in each language has finished to the terminal device.
3. The display device according to claim 2, characterized in that the signal sending unit sends a signal indicating that scrolling of the text in all languages has ended to the terminal device when the end determination unit determines that scrolling of the text in all languages has ended.
4. A display device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises a time calculation unit that calculates the time required for the scrolling of the text to finish based on the amount of text in the text, the number of characters per line, and the speed at which the text is scrolled by the display control unit, and the signal transmission unit, in addition to transmitting the signal signal to the terminal device, also transmits time information indicating the time calculated by the time calculation unit to the terminal device.
5. A display device as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises a ratio calculation unit that calculates the execution ratio of the scrolling by the display control unit based on the amount of text in the text, the number of characters per line, and the scrolling speed of the text by the display control unit, and the signal transmission unit, in addition to transmitting the signal signal to the terminal device, also transmits ratio information indicating the execution ratio of the scrolling calculated by the ratio calculation unit to the terminal device.
6. A display method in which a display control unit displays text on a signage display while scrolling it, an end determination unit determines whether the scrolling of the text by the display control unit has ended, and a signal transmission unit transmits a signal indicating that the scrolling has ended to a terminal device when the end determination unit determines that the scrolling has ended.
7. A terminal device comprising: a signal receiving unit that receives a signal indicating that scrolling has ended when scrolling of the text has ended from a display device that displays text on a signage display while scrolling the text; and an end indicating unit that indicates that scrolling has ended when the signal receiving unit receives the signal signal.
8. The terminal device according to claim 7, wherein the texts are in a plurality of languages, and the signal receiving unit receives from the display device, when scrolling of the text in each language has finished, a signal signal indicating that scrolling of the text in each language has finished, and the end notification unit presents, when the signal receiving unit receives the signal signal indicating that scrolling of the text in each language has finished, that scrolling of the text in each language has finished.
9. The terminal device according to claim 8, characterized in that the signal receiving unit receives a signal indicating that scrolling of the text in all languages has ended when scrolling of the text in all languages has ended from the display device, and the end notification unit presents a signal indicating that scrolling of the text in all languages has ended when the signal receiving unit receives a signal indicating that scrolling of the text in all languages has ended.
10. A terminal device as described in any one of claims 7 to 9, characterized in that the signal receiving unit receives from the display device time information indicating the time required for the scrolling of the text to finish in addition to receiving the signal signal, and the end presentation unit not only presents that scrolling has finished when the signal receiving unit receives the signal signal, but also presents the time indicated by the time information when the signal receiving unit receives the time information.
11. A terminal device as described in any one of claims 7 to 10, characterized in that the signal receiving unit receives the signal signal from the display device and also receives percentage information indicating the execution percentage of the scrolling, and the end presentation unit, when the signal receiving unit receives the signal signal, not only presents that the scrolling has ended, but also presents the execution percentage indicated by the percentage information when the signal receiving unit receives the percentage information.
12. A display system comprising: a display control unit that displays text on a signage display while scrolling it; an end determination unit that determines whether the scrolling of the text by the display control unit has ended; a signal transmission unit that transmits a signal indicating that scrolling has ended when the end determination unit determines that scrolling has ended; a signal receiving unit that receives the signal signal transmitted from the signal transmission unit; and an end notification unit that notifies the user that scrolling has ended when the signal signal is received by the signal receiving unit.
