Description
MULTIFUNCTIONAL FITNESS HEAD STAND TRAINERDEVICE FOR INVERSION EXERCISESField of Invention
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of exercise equipment. Specifically, it pertains to a multi-functional fitness head stand trainer device for performing upside-down movements that provides stability and safety during the reversing movement.Summary
[0002] An inversion movement in which the legs are raised and the body is supported on shoulders and a head of a person, staying in an upside-down position, has numerous health benefits. Inversion movement helps to decompress the spine, improve circulation, enhance core strength, and promote overall joint health. Inverting the body helps counteract the effects of gravity on the spine, reducing pressure on the spinal discs and nerves, which can alleviate back pain and improve spinal alignment. Biomechanically, the benefits include improved spinal decompression, enhanced circulation, better lymphatic drainage, and increased core muscle engagement. These advantages contribute to reduced spinal and joint pain, improved posture, and greater mobility to improve our overall core human functions like walking, standing, running, and throwing.
[0003] In order to be able to perform inversion movement, the force must be concentrated in the center of the body, which makes it an effective practice for strengthening muscles of the abdomen. Further, the user must also have a stable center of mass they can exercise and leverage their body from, without compromising their balance. However, this movement is difficult to perform due to the need for strength and balance.
[0004] Known devices for inversion exercises suffer from a major disadvantage of not being stable during head-down posture, and have a tendency to move and / or tilt sideways as the weight of the body hangs to one side. In addition, the known devices for inversion exercises do not allow a variety of head-down movements that require different angles of hand positioning. Additionally, existing devices are not configured in such a way to allow incorporating kicking motions while being inverted in such a way that the kicking motions will have resistance on them by having the user's legs attached to a pulley machine.
[0005] Another common issue with existing headstands includes inadequate versatility in hand hold positioning leading to discomfort and safety issues during use. The hand position on existing devices doesn't allow for adjustability forward and backward, sideto side and up and down, which gives the user better options to stabilize themselves and allows for more exercises. Therefore, having different angles of hand positioning will allow the user to gain better mechanical leverage of his body and to load and stabilize the body in a variety of positions while performing inversion exercises.
[0006] Existing devices also have limited adjustability in the shoulder and hand positioning. This limited adjustability can make it difficult for users of different heights, body types, and torso widths to use the device comfortably and safely.
[0007] A significant drawback of the existing devices is the lack of versatility, as the existing designs on the market do not offer the functionality for various exercises, limiting their overall usefulness. This lack of versatility restricts the user's ability to perform a range of workouts, including weight-bearing exercises where the user is attached to resistance cables or a pulley machine thereby reducing the device's overall utility. Additionally, some devices lack stability and can wobble during use, creating a risk of tipping over and causing injury to the user.
[0008] Some existing devices are difficult to assemble and are manufactured in such a way that existing devices come with numerous moving parts and that require complex assembly. Additionally, their bulky and heavy designs hinder portability and storage, making them inconvenient for users with limited space.
[0009] There is, therefore, a need to overcome the above stated drawbacks of conventional devices for inversion exercises that provide better versatility, stability, and safety during inversion movements where the user can kick his legs in various directions with resistance and can tilt his body multi -directionally throughout various exercises.
[0010] It is an objective of the present invention to provide a multi-functional fitness head stand trainer device for performing inversion exercises that provides improved versatility and functionality while having better stability and safety during inversion movements.
[0011] It is another objective of the present invention to provide a fitness head stand trainer device that allows a variety of head-down movements requiring different angles of hand positioning that can allow the user to gain better mechanical leverage of his body and have the ability to load and stabilize the body in a variety of positions while performing inversion exercises.
[0012] It is another objective of the present invention to provide a fitness head stand trainer device that can be easily folded, facilitating ease of handling, transportation, and storage of the device.
