Abstract
Description
COMPOSITION FOR CLEANSING AND / OR REMOVING MAKEUPS FROM KERATIN MATERIALSTECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, in particular, a composition for cleansing keratin materials. The present invention also relates to a process for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials using said composition.
[0002] BACKGROUD ART
[0003] Cleansing the skin is very important for caring for the skin. It must be as efficient as possible because greasy residues, such as excess sebum, the remnants of cosmetic products used daily and make-up products, in particular waterproof products, accumulate in the skin folds, and can block the pores of the skin and result in the appearance of spots.
[0004] Several types of skin cleansing or makeup removing products, for example, rinsable anhydrous oils and gels, are known.
[0005] Rinsable anhydrous oils and gels have a cleansing or makeup removing action by virtue of oils present in these formulations. These oils make it possible to dissolve fatty residues and to disperse make-up pigments. These products are effective and well tolerated.
[0006] Foaming creams, lotions and gels have a cleansing or makeup removing action by virtue of the surfactants, which suspend the fatty residues on the face. They are effective and pleasant to use because they foam, and they are easy to remove. In order to have better foam density in a foaming cleanser, traditional foaming cleanser may include more polymers or high amounts of surfactants.
[0007] It is important for cleansers to have a slippery sensation to avoid rubbing the skin.
[0008] Therefore, there is a need to formulate frictionless compositions for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials, which can provide good foam density.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0009] The inventors have found that such a need mentioned above can be achieved by the present invention.
[0010] Thus, according to a first aspect, the present invention provides a composition comprising:

[0015] The composition according to the present invention can be used as a daily facial cleanser or a makeup remover. Thus, such a composition can be applied on the skin (i.e. face, and / or body) , and then rinsed with flush water.
[0016] According to a second aspect, the present invention provides a process for cleansing and / or removing makeups from keratin materials, comprising applying the composition according to the present invention to the keratin materials and rinsing off said composition after an optional period of time.
[0017] The inventors have also found that the at least one monosaccharide chosen from mannose, rhamnose, and mixture thereof can significantly improve the slipperiness of a composition comprising at least one cellulose-based polymer and at least one amphoteric surfactant.
[0018] According to a third aspect, the present invention provides use of a monosaccharide chosen from mannose, rhamnose, and mixture thereof for improving the slipperiness of a composition comprising at least one cellulose-based polymer and at least one amphoteric surfactant.
