Abstract
Description
[0001] A furniture lifting system, especially for lounge furniture
[0002] The object of the invention is a lifting system for upholstered, especially lounge furniture such as beds, couches, sofas, armchairs, etc.
[0003] When using lounge furniture, it is important to ensure free access to the surface on which the furniture is placed for its cleaning, without the need to manually lift the furniture or move it elsewhere. Due to the increasingly popular i-robot cleaning devices, it is desirable that the lifting of the furniture can be carried out automatically and remotely, for example by a smartphone-operated application. In this case, the vacuum robot, as part of the included cleaning mode, could easily drive under the frame of the furniture, in particular usually low set or without legs, and clean the surface underneath them.
[0004] Various systems for lifting a piece of furniture are known in the art. For example, CN211354664 U discloses a mechanism for lifting a sofa. The sofa frame has a movable base that is lifted using pushers. The pushers are embedded in springs, which are mounted at the bottom of the lifting cavity, below the bottom surface of the movable base.
[0005] A system for lifting the base of a sofa is also known from document CN214341277 U, the frame of which is formed by two cylinders constituting legs placed in comers. The pairs of external cylinders are connected by fixed crossbars with a mounting bar attached to them. Longitudinal holes are formed in the cylinders, in which sliding rods are movably embedded, with a movable rod suspended on them. Changing the position of the frame base is carried out by means of a screw coupled to the motor and a seat embedded in the lower part of the mounting bar. The object of the present invention is to propose a new and simple design of a furniture lifting system, enabling a stable change in the height of its base and providing access to the surface under the furniture in order to clean it. It is important that the process of lifting the furniture frame is carried out steadily, without the risk of tilting, which could damage or break the structure of the furniture. In addition, the object of the invention is to ensure that the proposed furniture lifting system is suitable for easy installation in ready-made and already existing lounge furniture systems, without the need for additional redesign or prototyping of the furniture.
[0006] According to the invention, a furniture lifting system, especially for lounge furniture, comprises a supporting frame on which a furniture frame is mounted. The furniture lifting system is characterized in that it has a second frame equipped with supports, relative to which the supporting frame is sliding in the vertical plane. The second frame is located internally relative to the supporting frame and has a longitudinal sliding mechanism coupled to it, on which the supporting frame is mounted. The longitudinal sliding mechanism is coupled to the motor.
[0007] In a preferred configuration, the longitudinal sliding mechanism comprises trapezoidal screws, each of which is coupled to a motor via a clutch. At the same time, openings for trapezoidal screws are created in the supporting frame, and trapezoidal nuts are attached to it below the supporting frame, through which trapezoidal screws pass.
[0008] Preferably, the trapezoidal screws have linear bearings mounted thereon, the linear bearings being secured to the supports of the second frame.
[0009] It is preferred that the linear bearings are embedded in the lower and upper parts of each of the trapezoidal screws.
[0010] Additionally, it is advantageous when the trapezoidal screws run parallel along the supports of the second frame, with the motor and clutch to which the trapezoidal screws are coupled being fixed in the bases of the supports of the second frame. In a further preferred configuration, the longitudinal sliding mechanism comprises electric actuators, each of which is coupled to a motor. The supporting frame has holes for the movable piston rods of the electric actuators, and below the supporting frame there are mountings to attach the electric actuators to the supports of the second frame.
[0011] Preferably, the upper parts of the electric actuator rods located above the supporting frame have housings.
[0012] It is also advantageous when the electric actuators run parallel along the supports of the second frame, with the motors to which the electric actuators are coupled being mounted in the bases of the supports of the second frame.
[0013] In yet another preferred configuration, the longitudinal sliding mechanism comprises guide pins that extend parallel to the supports of the second frame and are operatively coupled to at least a pair of electric actuators, the electric actuators being embedded between two adjacent guide pins, each of the electric actuators being coupled to a motor.
[0014] Also preferably, openings are formed in the supporting frame with bearings embedded therein through which the guide pins pass.
[0015] It is preferable that the guide pins are fixed in the bases of the supports of the second frame.
[0016] In addition, it is preferred that the guide pins have linear bearings mounted thereon, wherein the linear bearings are fixed to the supports of the second frame.
[0017] Preferably, the linear bearings are embedded in the lower and upper parts of each of the guide pins.
[0018] It is advantageous in this configuration when the motors with the gearbox are fixedly coupled to the support frame, while the electric actuators are embedded in the actuator bases, which are placed between the bases of the adjacent supports of the second frame.
[0019] Additionally, it is preferred when elements limiting the range of movement of the supporting frame are attached to the supports of the second frame.
[0020] Further, it is preferred that the furniture lifting system of the invention is suitable to be controlled by a mobile application
[0021] The invention is presented in the embodiments shown in the drawing, in which fig. 1 shows a top perspective view of a furniture lifting system according to the first embodiment, fig. 2 shows a side view of the furniture lifting system according to fig. 1, fig. 3 shows a front view of the furniture lifting system according to fig. 1, fig. 4 shows a top perspective view of the furniture lifting system according to the second embodiment, fig. 5 shows a side view of the furniture lifting system according to fig. 4, fig. 6 shows a front view of the furniture lifting system according to fig. 4, fig. 7 shows a top perspective view of the furniture lifting system according to the third embodiment, fig. 8 shows a side view of the furniture lifting system according to fig. 7, and fig. 9 shows a front view of the furniture lifting system according to fig. 7.
[0022] Figs. 1 to 3 show the first embodiment of a furniture lifting system comprising a supporting frame 1 to which the furniture frame (not shown) will ultimately be attached. As shown, the supporting frame 1 is made as a standard rectangular frame with longitudinal and transverse members. It will be apparent to a person skilled in the art that both the supporting frame 1 and the entire furniture lifting system may be adapted to a furniture having a different shape and may include modules assembled together having a repetitive structure according to the invention, for example to form the furniture in a broken arrangement.
[0023] Internally, the second frame 2 is located in relation to the supporting frame 1, which is equipped with four supports 3 constituting the legs. The supporting frame 1 is slidable relative to the second frame 2 to form a furniture lifting arrangement whose rack (not shown) is mounted on the supporting frame 1. In order to ensure movement in the vertical plane of the supporting frame 1, the furniture lifting system is equipped with a longitudinal sliding mechanism 4, which is coupled to a motor 5 (connected to a transmission in a known manner) and a clutch 6.
[0024] In accordance with the presented embodiment, the longitudinal sliding mechanism 4 comprises four trapezoidal screws 7 which extend in parallel along the supports 3 of the second frame 2. The trapezoidal screws 7 are coupled to couplings 6 connected to the motors 5, which together with the supports 3 are embedded in bases 31 of the supports 3 of the second frame 2. The trapezoidal screws 7 pass through holes 11 formed in the supporting frame 1. Below the supporting frame 1, trapezoidal nuts 8 are attached to it, through which the trapezoidal screws 7 pass.
[0025] In terms of operation of the furniture lifting system, according to the present embodiment, after receiving the corresponding control signal, for example from a mobile application installed on the smartphone, the rotational movement is transferred to the trapezoidal screws 7 from the motors 5 with the transmission and via the couplings 6. Rotation of the trapezoidal screws 7 causes the trapezoidal nuts 8 to move up or down (depending on the direction of rotation of the trapezoidal screw 7), which causes the supporting frame 1 to move together with the trapezoidal nuts 8, and as a result, the furniture is raised or lowered (not shown). To ensure the stability and smoothness of the sliding movement of the supporting frame 1, each trapezoidal screw 8 is additionally mounted on linear bearings 9 which are fixed to the respective support 3 of the second frame 2. Linear bearings 9, according to an embodiment, are mounted on the upper ends of the trapezoidal screws 7 and in their lower parts, above the connection of the trapezoidal screws 7 with the couplings 6. .
[0026] Figs. 4 to 6 show a second possible embodiment of a furniture lifting system which, similarly to the first embodiment, comprises a supporting frame 1, which is movable relative to an internally located second frame 2 with supports 3. Due to the similarity of the furniture lifting system design in this respect and for the sake of clarity of the description, these elements will not be discussed again. As with the first embodiment of the furniture lifting system, motors 5 are mounted in bases 31 of the supports 3 of the second frame 2.
[0027] In accordance with the presented embodiment, a longitudinal sliding mechanism 4 comprises four electric actuators 10, coupled to motors 5, which run in parallel along the supports 3 of the second frame 2 and are embedded in the bases 31 of the supports 3 of the second frame 2. Electric actuators 10 pass through openings 11 formed in the supporting frame 1. After receiving the appropriate control signal, for example from a mobile application installed on a smartphone, the rods of the electric actuators 10 are extended or retracted and, as a result, the supporting frame 1 is raised or lowered with the furniture frame mounted on it (not shown). Below the supporting frame 1 on the pins of the electric actuators 10, there are mountings 12 for electric actuators 10 to supports 3 of the second frame 2. In addition, in order to secure the position of the electric actuators 10, the upper parts of their rods are equipped with housings 13.
[0028] Figs. 7 to 9 show another, third possible example of a furniture lifting assembly which, similarly to the examples discussed above, comprises a supporting frame 1, which is movable relative to an internally located second frame 2 with supports 3. In the present embodiment of the longitudinal sliding mechanism 4, the supporting frame 1 is mounted on four guide pins 14, operatively coupled to electric actuators 15. Extending the piston rod of the electric actuator 15 causes the supporting frame 1 to move in the vertical plane.
[0029] According to the presented embodiment, the guide pins 14 run parallel to the supports 3 of the second frame 2 and are fixed in the bases 31 of these supports 3. The guide pins 14 pass through the holes 11 formed in the supporting frame 1, in which bearings 16 are mounted, enabling smooth and precise movement of the supporting frame 1 during the extension of the pistons of the electric actuators 15. In addition, the guide pins 14 have linear bearings 17 mounted thereon, which are fixed to the supports 3 of the second frame 2. In accordance with the presented embodiment, the linear bearings 17 are mounted on the upper ends of the guide pins 14 and in their lower parts, above the attachment of the guide pins 14 in bases 31 of the supports 3 .
[0030] As shown in the figure, the electric actuators 15 are coupled to motors 5, which are permanently attached to the supporting frame 1, and located between a pair of guide pins 14, along the shorter (according to the figure) sides of the furniture lifting assembly. However, it will be apparent to a person skilled in the art that the electric actuators 15 may be spaced between a pair of guide pins 14 along a longer side of the furniture lifting assembly. It is also possible to use four electric actuators 15 between each pair of guide pins 14. Each of the electric actuators 15 is embedded in a corresponding base 18 of the actuator, which is arranged between the bases 31 of the adjacent supports 3 of the second frame 2.
[0031] After receiving the control signal, for example from the mobile application installed on the smartphone, both pistons of the electric actuators 15 begin to move in the direction selected by the user. Due to the embedding of electric actuators 15 in the bases 18 of the actuator located on the surface on which the entire furniture lifting assembly structure is placed, the movement of the electric actuator 15 rods causes the supporting frame to rise or fall in a vertical plane.
[0032] In all of the presented embodiments, in order to limit the range of movement of the support frame 1 and to prevent the supporting frame 1 from falling too low, which could result in failure or damage to the furniture lifting system, locking elements 19 are attached to the supports 3 of the second frame 2. In accordance with the presented embodiment, the locking elements 19 are formed in the shape of angle brackets, which are attached to the supports 3 with the outer side of one of their arms, while the other arm forms a boundary surface on the supporting frame 1. The presented invention is not limited to the shown embodiments, various modifications thereof are possible within the scope of the claims without departing from the essence of the disclosure.
