Abstract
Description
[0001] ACTIVE ELECTROMAGNETIC SENSOR
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The invention relates to an active electromagnetic sensor for underground imaging and object detection systems, which enables the detection of all magnetic or non-magnetic objects.
[0004] KNOWN STATE OF THE ART
[0005] Nowadays, underground imaging systems include passive electromagnetic sensors. Sensors designed and manufactured with passive electromagnetics can only detect objects that can be magnetized. Therefore, existing sensors are insufficient for the detection and identification of non-magnetic objects. There is currently no active electromagnetic sensor design and production.
[0006] In order to provide passive or active electromagnetic sensor design, a coil and a signal regulator electronic board are required. In passive electromagnetic sensors, a signal that will cause electromagnetic propagation on the coil is not created. The name passive comes from here. The coils are only used as listening antennas. In this case, the voltage induced due to the magnetic field change occurring on the coil is increased to a certain level as a detection by means of the signal regulator board. Therefore, passive electromagnetic sensors can only detect magnetized objects.
[0007] The summary of the application 2023 / 017455, which emerged as a result of technical research, is as follows: "The invention is a multi-system subsoil investigation and detection device; It has an integrated structure that includes a magnetic field detector with magnetic sensor based on the magnetic research method, a metal detector based on the pulse induction system, and a single card PC-based embedded system that allows resolution, analysed, examination of 3D graphics on the system without the need for any external computer, phone or tablet of the data obtained with the device having a resistivity system that measures the electrical resistance of the soil by sending an electric current under the soil.". As can be seen, the invention relates only to a system that can detect magnetic metals and does not mention a structure that can provide a solution to the disadvantages mentioned above.
[0008] As a result, due to the above-mentioned negativities and the inadequacy of the existing solutions on the subject, a development in the relevant technical field has become necessary.
[0009] PURPOSE OF INVENTION
[0010] The invention purposes to provide a structure with different technical features that brings a new opening in this field, different from the structures used in the current art.
[0011] The primary purpose of the invention is to provide an active electromagnetic sensor that creates an electromagnetic field and detects all magnetic or non-magnetic objects by listening to the induction of the electric field that will be generated by this magnetic field on the coil.
[0012] One purpose of the invention is to provide an active electromagnetic sensor that generates an induction by applying a signal and detects and outputs the induction on the coil caused by the voltage accumulation in accordance with the eddy current physics law in the objects remaining in the magnetic field formed as a result of this induction by means of a signal regulator board.
[0013] In order to fulfill the aforementioned purposes, the invention is characterized in that it is an active electromagnetic sensor for the detection of all magnetic or non-magnetic objects, it includes the following;
[0014] • a signal regulator board that generates the signal required for the electromagnetic field to be generated on the coil, processes the electromagnetic field generated by the object to be detected on the coil and generates an output signal,
[0015] • a coil that converts the signal generated by the signal regulator board into an electromagnetic field and induces electricity in the object, which is induced voltage by the electromagnetic field generated in the object and thus enables the detection to be realized.
[0016] The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the figures given below and the detailed description written with references to these figures, and therefore, the evaluation should be made by considering these figures and detailed description.

[0023] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
[0024] In this detailed description, preferred embodiments of the invention are described solely for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject matter and without limiting effect.
[0025] The invention relates to an active electromagnetic sensor for underground imaging and object detection systems, which enables the detection of all magnetic or non-magnetic objects.
[0026] The elements used in the active electromagnetic sensor subject to the invention and their functions are as follows;
[0027] The signal regulator board (1 ) is the board that generates the signal required for the generation of the electromagnetic field on the coil (2), processes the electromagnetic field generated by the object to be detected on the coil (2) and generates an output signal. The electromagnetic field on the coil (2) is generated for variable periods of time depending on the metal type. This is directly proportional to the conductivity of the metal. Better conductors generate an electromagnetic field on the coil (2) for a shorter time, while poor conductors generate an electromagnetic field on the coil (2) for a longer time. This is technically called signal attenuation. In other words, good conductors such as gold and copper create a signal that is attenuated in a short time, while bad conductors such as iron and aluminum create a signal that is attenuated in a longer time. This makes it possible to determine the metal type. Therefore, the type of objects detected can be determined according to the output signal given via the signal regulator board (1 ). The coil (2) is the part that converts the signal generated by the signal regulator board (1 ) into an electromagnetic field and induces electricity in the object, where voltage is induced by the electromagnetic field generated in the object and thus enables detection.
[0028] The working principle of the active electromagnetic sensor subject to the invention is as follows;
[0029] The signal generated by the signal regulator board (1 ) is converted into an electromagnetic field by the coil (2) and the object is electrically induced. The electromagnetic field generated in the object causes the coil (2) to induce voltage. The voltage induced in the coil (2) is processed by the signal regulator board (1 ) and the output signal is generated.
