[0001] Cross-reference to related applications
[0002] The present application claims priority to the Chinese patent application No. 202411286959.6 filed on September 13, 2024 in China, the content of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The present application belongs to the field of communication technology, and particularly relates to a cell registration method and device, electronic equipment and readable storage medium. BACKGROUND
[0004] With the formal commercialization of the 5th Generation Mobile Communication Technology (5G) Stand Alone (SA) network.
[0005] Generally, the network side device can configure the terminal with cell configuration information of multiple cells, and the terminal selects one cell to camp on. In the case that the current camped cell of the terminal occurs radio link failure, the terminal can initiate a cell registration process to a cell adjacent to the current camped cell, so that the terminal can switch to the adjacent cell for service data transmission.
[0006] However, since the network signal transmitted by the network side device corresponding to the adjacent cell does not cover the area where the terminal is currently located, the cell configuration information obtained by the network side device corresponding to the terminal cannot completely obtain the cell configuration information of the adjacent cell, so that the terminal cannot initiate a cell registration process according to the cell configuration information of the adjacent cell. Therefore, the terminal will maintain an abnormal service state, so that the current camped cell of the terminal occurs radio link failure, and thus the terminal cannot perform service data transmission. SUMMARY
[0007] The purpose of the embodiments of the present application is to provide a cell registration method and device, electronic equipment and readable storage medium, which can avoid the terminal entering the off-network state in the case that the current camped service cell of the terminal is not configured with an adjacent cell.
[0008] In a first aspect, the embodiments of the present application provide a cell registration method, which comprises: in the case that the terminal detects that service data transmission occurs abnormally, and there is no adjacent cell in the service cell of the terminal, the terminal obtains N pieces of first frequency point information, N being a positive integer; the terminal performs cell search using the N pieces of first frequency point information to obtain at least one first cell; and the terminal initiates a cell registration process to a target cell in the at least one first cell.
[0009] In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a cell registration apparatus, which comprises an obtaining module, a searching module and a registration module. The obtaining module is configured to obtain N pieces of first frequency point information when a terminal detects abnormal service data transmission and a serving cell of the terminal has no neighbor cell, where N is a positive integer. The searching module is configured to perform cell search by using the N pieces of first frequency point information to obtain at least one first cell. The registration module is configured to initiate a cell registration process to a target cell in the at least one first cell.
[0010] In a third aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an electronic device, which comprises a processor and a memory. The memory stores programs or instructions executable on the processor. When the programs or instructions are executed by the processor, the steps of the method according to the first aspect are implemented.
[0011] In a fourth aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a readable storage medium, which stores programs or instructions. When the programs or instructions are executed by a processor, the steps of the method according to the first aspect are implemented.
[0012] In a fifth aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a chip, which comprises a processor and a communication interface. The communication interface is coupled to the processor. The processor is configured to run programs or instructions to implement the method according to the first aspect.
[0013] In a sixth aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a computer program product stored in a storage medium. The program product is executed by at least one processor to implement the method according to the first aspect.
[0014] In the embodiments of the present application, when a terminal detects abnormal service data transmission and a serving cell of the terminal has no neighbor cell, the terminal obtains N pieces of first frequency point information, where N is a positive integer. The terminal performs cell search by using the N pieces of first frequency point information to obtain at least one first cell. The terminal initiates a cell registration process to a target cell in the at least one first cell. In this solution, when the terminal detects abnormal service data transmission, i.e., flow interruption, the terminal first detects whether the serving cell has a neighbor cell. If there is no available neighbor cell, the terminal actively searches for at least one available first cell on multiple first frequency point information. If at least one available first cell is found, the terminal initiates a cell registration process to a target cell in the at least one first cell to camp on the target cell, thereby avoiding the problem that the terminal cannot camp on a cell with good network signal quality due to the fact that the serving cell has no neighbor cell, and further enabling the terminal to normally perform service data transmission. It should be noted that the specific type of the terminal is not limited in the embodiments of the present application.
[0028] It should be noted that the cell registration method provided in the embodiments of the present application can be executed by an electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet PC, a notebook computer, a palm PC, or a vehicle-mounted electronic device. In some embodiments of the present application, the cell registration method is executed by an electronic device as an execution subject, and the cell registration method provided in the embodiments of the present application is described.
[0029] The cell registration method, apparatus, electronic device, and readable storage medium provided in the embodiments of the present application will be described in detail in combination with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments and application scenarios.
[0030] After the terminal is powered on or the terminal moves from a blind area to a coverage area of a public land mobile network (PLMN), the terminal searches for all frequency points allowed by the PLMN and selects a suitable cell as a serving cell, which can be referred to as cell selection.
[0031] The 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) protocol specifies that the prerequisite for cell reselection is that the serving cell must have a neighboring cell (also referred to as a neighbor cell). The neighboring cell refers to a cell that has an overlap with the current cell and is set with a handover relationship, and one cell can have multiple neighboring cells. Specifically, the 4G serving cell reselection protocol standard can be found in section 5.2 of 3GPP TS 36.304v13.2.0, the 3G serving cell reselection protocol standard can be found in section 5.2 of 3GPP TS 25.304v3.3.0, and the 2G serving cell reselection protocol standard can be found in section 6.6 of 3GPP TS 45.008v8.3.0.
[0032] According to the 3GPP protocol, the reselection rule of a cell is as follows:
[0033] If the serving cell in which the terminal resides is configured with a same-frequency neighboring cell, the reselection rule of the same-frequency neighboring cell includes: the terminal determines whether to start the same-frequency measurement by comparing the parameter S of the serving cell with the parameter Sintrasearch in the system broadcast; the neighboring cells are sorted according to the signal quality, and then the optimal cell with the best signal quality is selected from the neighboring cells, and the terminal is reselected to the optimal cell. The specific principle of measurement start and the specific parameter meaning can be referred to 3GPP TS 36.304v13.2.0 protocol.
[0034] The constraint conditions that need to be met in the sorting and selection process include: the time for the terminal to reside in the serving cell is more than 1 s (second), and the sorting time of the neighboring cell is greater than the reselection trigger time (Treselection).
[0035] Different frequencies can correspond to different priorities, and correspondingly, the neighboring cells corresponding to different frequencies can also correspond to different priorities. If the serving cell is configured with a different-frequency neighboring cell, the different-frequency cell reselection rule includes: for the frequency of the neighboring cell whose priority is higher than the frequency of the serving cell (i.e., the frequency of high priority) indicated by the system message, the terminal should always perform measurement on the frequency of the neighboring cell. For the frequency of the neighboring cell whose priority is equal to or lower than the frequency of the serving cell (i.e., the frequency of equal priority or the frequency of low priority) indicated by the system message, the measurement criterion of the terminal includes: if the S value of the serving cell is greater than Snonintrasearch, the measurement on the frequency of the neighboring cell is not performed; if the S value of the serving cell is less than or equal to Snonintrasearch, the measurement on the frequency of the neighboring cell is performed.
[0036] For reselection of the neighboring cell corresponding to the high-priority frequency, the reselection is performed after the following conditions are met: the S value of the neighboring cell corresponding to the high-priority frequency is greater than a preset first threshold value, and the duration exceeds Treselection; and the terminal stays in the serving cell for more than 1 s. The terminal selects an optimal cell corresponding to a frequency with the highest priority from the frequencies of the neighboring cells corresponding to the frequencies with priorities higher than the serving cell, and reselects to the optimal cell.
[0037] For reselection of the neighboring cell corresponding to the same-priority frequency, the reselection operation is performed by using the R criterion of the intra-frequency cell reselection.
[0038] For reselection of the neighboring cell corresponding to the low-priority frequency, the reselection is performed after the following conditions are met: no neighboring cell corresponding to the high-priority frequency meets the reselection requirement; and no neighboring cell corresponding to the same-priority frequency meets the reselection requirement; the S value of the serving cell is less than a preset second threshold value, and the S value of the neighboring cell corresponding to the low-priority frequency is greater than the preset second threshold value, and the duration exceeds Treselection; and the terminal stays in the serving cell for more than 1 s. The terminal selects an optimal cell corresponding to a frequency with the highest priority from the frequencies of the neighboring cells corresponding to the frequencies with priorities lower than the serving cell, and reselects to the optimal cell.
[0039] According to the related provisions of the 3GPP protocol on cell reselection, a prerequisite of the cell reselection is that the serving cell must be configured with a neighboring cell. If the serving cell is not configured with a neighboring cell, the prerequisite of the cell reselection specified in the 3GPP protocol cannot be met, and thus the terminal cannot be reselected to another better cell.
[0040] The information of the neighboring cell of the serving cell can be configured by an access network device such as a base station. For example, in a 4G network, the base station can be an eNodeB; in a 3G network, the base station can be a NodeB; and in a 2G network, the base station can include a base transceiver station (BTS) and a base station controller (BSC).
[0041] There are some unreasonable cell planning in mobile communication network, and some cells are not configured with any neighboring cell. The cell not configured with any neighboring cell can be called as an island cell. For example, when the normal coverage area of the network is planned by the operator, there can be some deviation between the wireless network planning and the engineering construction effect. After the network coverage area is planned and constructed, if the wireless network coverage environment of the area changes, for example, a new building is added, and the network planning and construction are not updated in time, there can be an uncovered area after the deployment according to the normal network planning and construction, and a new coverage requirement. Thus, there can be a scenario that a cell is not configured with any neighboring cell.
[0042] Currently, if a terminal camps on an island cell, the terminal cannot meet the prerequisite of cell reselection specified in the 3GPP protocol because the island cell is not configured with any neighboring cell. Thus, the terminal cannot reselect to other better cells, cannot leave the island cell, and can only continue to camp on the island cell. The signal quality of the island cell is unstable, which can cause the terminal to fail to normally monitor paging, and thus the service of the user is damaged.
[0043] In the cell registration method provided in the embodiments of the present application, when the terminal detects that the service data transmission is abnormal, and the serving cell of the terminal does not have a neighboring cell, the terminal acquires N pieces of first frequency point information, N is a positive integer; the terminal performs cell search by using the N pieces of first frequency point information, and obtains at least one first cell; and the terminal initiates a cell registration process to a target cell in the at least one first cell. In the present solution, when the terminal detects that the service data transmission is abnormal, i.e., a flow interruption occurs, the terminal first detects whether the serving cell of the terminal has a neighboring cell. If there is no available neighboring cell, the terminal actively searches for at least one available first cell on multiple first frequency point information. If the at least one available first cell is found, the terminal initiates a cell registration process to a target cell in the at least one available first cell, so as to camp on the target cell. Thus, the problem that the terminal cannot camp on a cell with good network signal quality because the serving cell of the terminal does not have a neighboring cell can be avoided, and the terminal can normally perform service data transmission.
[0044] The execution subject of the cell reselection method provided in the embodiments of the present application can be a cell registration apparatus, which can be an electronic device or a terminal, or a control module or a processing module in the electronic device. The technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application are described below by taking a terminal as an example.
[0045] The embodiments of the present application provide a cell registration method. FIG. 1 shows a flowchart of a cell registration method provided in the embodiments of the present application, and the method can be applied to an electronic device. As shown in FIG. 1, the cell registration method provided in the embodiments of the present application can include the following steps 201 to 203.
[0046] Step 201, the electronic device acquires N pieces of first frequency point information in a case where the terminal detects that service data transmission is abnormal and there is no neighbor cell of the serving cell of the terminal, N being a positive integer.
[0047] In some embodiments of the present application, the scenario of detecting that service data transmission is abnormal can include at least one of the following: network cannot be normally used, call is abnormal, information sending is abnormal, etc.
[0048] In some embodiments of the present application, the fact that there is no neighbor cell of the serving cell of the terminal indicates that the serving cell is an island cell.
[0049] In some embodiments of the present application, in a case where the terminal determines that the signal quality of the serving cell is lower than a preset threshold value or the above-mentioned scenario of service data transmission being abnormal occurs, the process of determining whether the serving cell is configured with a neighbor cell can be triggered.
[0050] In some embodiments of the present application, the process of determining whether the serving cell is configured with a neighbor cell by the terminal is a process of detecting configuration information sent by a network side device.
[0051] In some embodiments of the present application, in the configuration information sent by the network side device, the terminal cannot acquire available configuration information, and then it is determined that the cell in which the terminal is currently located is an island cell.
[0052] In some embodiments of the present application, the above-mentioned configuration information includes at least one of the following: System Information Block (SIB) 3, SIB 4, SIB 5, or SIB 24.
[0053] Exemplarily, the SIB 3 contains information of same-frequency cell reselection.
[0054] Exemplarily, the SIB 4 contains same-frequency neighbor cell configuration.
[0055] Exemplarily, the SIB 5 contains different-frequency neighbor cell configuration.
[0056] Exemplarily, the SIB 24 contains neighbor cell configuration of 5G and reconfiguration message of a frequency point to be measured.
[0057] In some embodiments of the present application, the terminal can first determine whether the current serving cell is configured with a 5G neighboring cell, and if not, then determine whether it is configured with a 4G neighboring cell, and if not, then determine whether it is configured with a 3G neighboring cell, and if not, then determine whether it is configured with a 2G neighboring cell. If the 5G neighboring cell, the 4G neighboring cell, the 3G neighboring cell or the 2G neighboring cell exists, the terminal determines that the serving cell is configured with a neighboring cell, and the serving cell is not an island cell. If the 5G neighboring cell, the 4G neighboring cell, the 3G neighboring cell or the 2G neighboring cell does not exist, the terminal determines that the current serving cell is not configured with a neighboring cell, and the serving cell is an island cell.
[0058] The neighboring cell of the serving cell can be a same-system same-frequency cell, a same-system different-frequency cell or a different-system cell of the serving cell. The system can include a 4G network system, a 3G network system, a 2G network system, a 5G network system, etc. The 4G network system can include an LTE system, etc. The 3G network system can include a universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS), an evolved universal terrestrial radio access network (UTRAN) system, etc. The 2G network system can include a global system for mobile communication (GSM), etc. The information of the neighboring cell of the serving cell is used to identify the neighboring cell, and can be identification information of the neighboring cell, frequency point information corresponding to the neighboring cell, frequency band information corresponding to the neighboring cell, etc., which are not limited in the embodiments of the present application.
[0059] In some embodiments of the present application, the first frequency point information can be frequency point information on a full frequency band supported by the terminal, or historical frequency point information.
[0060] In some embodiments of the present application, the full frequency band supported by the terminal refers to a frequency range available for the terminal to receive and transmit information in the mobile communication process, i.e., all the frequency bands supported by the terminal.
[0061] In some embodiments of the present application, the historical frequency point information is frequency point information corresponding to a serving cell registered and camped by the terminal.
[0062] It can be understood that, since the historical frequency point information is frequency point information corresponding to a serving cell registered by the terminal, the configuration information of the serving cell can be directly obtained.
[0063] In an example, the first frequency point information can be stored in the terminal in a list form.
[0064] At step 202, the terminal performs cell search using the N first frequency point information to obtain at least one first cell.
[0065] In some embodiments of the present application, the at least one first cell is a service cell available to the terminal.
[0066] In some embodiments of the present application, after the terminal obtains the N first frequency point information, the terminal performs cell search on each frequency point in the order of the first frequency point information.
[0067] In some embodiments of the present application, the terminal searches for the first cell according to the frequency point information of the historical frequency point on which the terminal has successfully registered before or according to the full frequency band supported by the terminal.
[0068] It can be understood that the first cell is a first cell satisfying the first condition, which can be specifically referred to the description of step 202b below, and will not be described here.
[0069] In an example, the terminal can search (or scan) signals (i.e., attempt to receive signals) in the order from low to high or from high to low in the frequency bands in the full frequency band supported by the terminal to find available cells. For example, the terminal first searches the first frequency band, then searches the second frequency band, and then searches the third frequency band, and so on for different frequency bands. When the terminal searches a certain frequency band, the terminal can scan all frequency points in the frequency band to determine whether a signal corresponding to a certain frequency point can be received. If the terminal searches a signal corresponding to a certain frequency point in the full frequency band (i.e., receives the signal corresponding to the frequency point), the terminal determines whether the cell corresponding to the frequency point is a first cell satisfying the first condition according to the signal corresponding to the frequency point.
[0070] In another example, the terminal can first search for a signal corresponding to each historical frequency point (i.e., attempt to receive the signal corresponding to the historical frequency point) according to the frequency point information of the historical frequency point on which the terminal has successfully registered before to find available cells. The signal corresponding to a certain frequency point refers to a signal received / transmitted using a frequency corresponding to the frequency point. If the terminal searches a signal corresponding to a historical frequency point (i.e., the terminal receives the signal corresponding to the historical frequency point), the terminal determines whether the cell corresponding to the historical frequency point is a first cell satisfying the first condition according to the signal corresponding to the historical frequency point.
[0071] It should be noted that the terminal can search cells in the historical frequency points in the order of first searching 5G network frequency points, then searching 4G network frequency points, then searching 3G network frequency points, and then searching 2G network frequency points, so as to preferentially reselect 5G cells and 4G cells as much as possible.
[0072] Thus, since the number of 5G cells is currently larger and the number of 2G cells is smaller, searching in the order of 5G network, 4G network, 3G network and 2G network can improve the rate of searching for a cell and the rate of searching for a target cell, thereby improving the processing efficiency.
[0073] Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, before the step 202 "the terminal performs cell search using the N pieces of first frequency point information", in the case where the first frequency point information is historical frequency point information, the cell registration method provided by the embodiments of the present application further includes the step 301:
[0074] In the step 301, the terminal determines the N pieces of first frequency point information from at least one piece of historical frequency point information.
[0075] In some embodiments of the present application, the historical frequency point in the historical frequency point information is a frequency point on which the terminal has successfully camped recently
[0076] In some embodiments of the present application, the historical frequency point information is continuously updated.
[0077] It can be understood that, compared with full-band, it is more convenient to search for available frequency points with fewer attempts when quickly searching for a network, and the terminal strategy can take the commonly used frequency points of domestic operators as default historical frequency points, so that there is a default list in the terminal to maintain the historical frequency points.
[0078] In some embodiments of the present application, each cell can correspond to one or more frequency points. A frequency point is a number of a group of fixed frequencies.
[0079] For example, the frequency band 890MHz-915MHz of GSM900 can be divided into 125 wireless frequency bands with a frequency interval of 300KHz, and each frequency band is numbered, and the numbers of these fixed frequencies are frequency points. The historical frequency points successfully registered by the terminal before are the frequency points corresponding to the cells successfully registered by the terminal before, and the cells corresponding to these frequency points are usually cells with better performance.
[0080] In some embodiments of the present application, the terminal can search for signals corresponding to the historical frequency points (i.e., attempt to receive signals corresponding to the historical frequency points) according to the saved historical frequency points successfully registered before, to find available cells. The signal corresponding to a certain frequency point refers to a signal received / transmitted using the frequency corresponding to the frequency point. If the terminal searches for the signal corresponding to the historical frequency point (i.e., the terminal receives the signal corresponding to the historical frequency point), it is determined whether the cell corresponding to the historical frequency point is a target cell meeting the registration condition according to the signal corresponding to the historical frequency point.
[0081] In this way, the terminal continuously updates the historical frequency information, so that the terminal selects a cell to perform a registration procedure, and obtains the historical frequency information. Since the cell corresponding to the historical frequency information is a cell that the terminal has successfully registered, the terminal searches for a cell on the frequency in the historical frequency information first, which can improve the success rate of the terminal registering a cell and reduce the search time.
[0082] In step 203, the terminal initiates a cell registration procedure to a target cell in the at least one first cell.
[0083] In some embodiments of the present application, the terminal can determine a cell in the first cell that meets a registration condition as the target cell. In other words, the terminal can determine a cell in the first cell that has better performance than the current serving cell as the target cell.
[0084] For example, the performance of a cell can include signal quality, signal-to-noise ratio, and the like.
[0085] In some embodiments of the present application, the registration condition can include that the signal quality of the target cell is higher than or equal to a preset threshold value.
[0086] In some embodiments of the present application, the parameter used to represent the signal quality can include at least one of the following: reference signal received power (RSRP), reference signal received quality (RSRQ), signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), received signal strength indicator (RSSI), and received signal level (Rxlev).
[0087] In some embodiments of the present application, the preset threshold value is user-defined or default for the terminal, which is not limited in the present application.
[0088] For example, the preset threshold value can be set to RSRP greater than -110, RSRQ greater than -15, and SNR greater than 0.
[0089] In some embodiments of the present application, based on the registration condition, if the terminal searches for a cell with signal quality higher than or equal to the preset threshold value according to the historical frequency information of the previous successful registration or according to the frequency information in the full frequency band supported by the terminal, the terminal determines the cell as the target cell. The terminal can perform step 203 to register and camp on the target cell.
[0090] It should be noted that the registration condition can further include other contents, and the embodiments of the present application are not limited thereto.
[0091] In the cell registration method provided by the embodiments of the present application, in the case that the terminal detects abnormality in service data transmission and there is no neighbor cell of the serving cell of the terminal, the terminal acquires N pieces of first frequency point information, N being a positive integer; the terminal performs cell search using the N pieces of first frequency point information to obtain at least one first cell; and the terminal initiates a cell registration procedure to a target cell in the at least one first cell. In the present solution, when the terminal detects abnormality in service data transmission, i.e. flow interruption, the terminal first detects whether there is a neighbor cell of the serving cell, and in the case that there is no available neighbor cell, the terminal actively searches for at least one available first cell on multiple first frequency point information, and if at least one available first cell is found, the terminal initiates a cell registration procedure to a target cell in the at least one available first cell to camp on the target cell, thereby avoiding the problem that the terminal cannot camp on a cell with good network signal quality due to the absence of a neighbor cell of the serving cell, and further enabling the terminal to normally perform service data transmission.
[0092] Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the step 202 "the terminal performs cell search using the N pieces of first frequency point information" specifically includes step 202a or step 202b:
[0093] Step 202a: in the case that the motion state of the terminal is a target state, the terminal performs cell search using the N pieces of first frequency point information at a first preset time interval.
[0094] Step 202b: in the case that the motion state of the terminal is a non-target state, the terminal performs cell search using the N pieces of first frequency point information at a second preset time interval.
[0095] In some embodiments of the present application, the target state is at least one of the following: a static state and a low-speed motion state.
[0096] For example, the static state is that the terminal is stationary at the current location during cell search.
[0097] For example, the low-speed motion state is that the current motion speed of the terminal is lower than a preset speed.
[0098] For example, the preset speed can be user-defined or terminal default.
[0099] For example, the low-speed motion state can be that the user walks at a low speed on the road with the terminal. The static state is that the user is stationary at the current location with the terminal.
[0100] In some embodiments of the present application, the terminal can determine the motion state of the terminal by carrying a sensor or by calculating the moving speed of the terminal through a software algorithm.
[0101] In some embodiments of the present application, the first preset time interval is default or user-defined.
[0102] In some embodiments of the present application, the second preset time interval is default or user-defined.
[0103] In some embodiments of the present application, the first preset time interval is greater than the second preset time interval.
[0104] For example, the first preset time interval can be 5s, 10s or 20s, and the specific embodiments are not limited in the present application. Correspondingly, the second preset time interval is shorter than the first preset time interval.
[0105] In some embodiments of the present application, after the terminal traverses all the cells corresponding to the N first frequency point information, if no available cell is searched, i.e., the first cell, the terminal traverses the N first frequency point information again after a preset time interval, until an available cell is searched or the search times reaches an upper limit, and the search is stopped.
[0106] For example, after the terminal traverses all the cells corresponding to the N first frequency point information in the historical frequency point list, if no available cell is searched, the terminal traverses again after 5s.
[0107] In this way, since the position of the terminal can change, if no available cell is searched at the current time, the terminal can search again after a preset time interval, which increases the success rate of searching for an available cell and improves the possibility of the terminal camping on an available cell.
[0108] Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, the step 202 "the terminal performs cell search using the N first frequency point information to obtain at least one first cell" specifically includes step 202c:
[0109] In step 202c, the terminal determines the cell satisfying the first condition from the cells obtained by the cell search as the first cell.
[0110] In some embodiments of the present application, the first condition is used to determine whether there is an available cell in the cells corresponding to the N first frequency point information.
[0111] In some embodiments of the present application, the first condition includes at least one of the following:
[0112] PLMN matching;
[0113] the frequency point corresponding to the cell is not disabled;
[0114] the cell meets the S criterion;
[0115] the cell supports IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) emergency call.
[0116] Exemplarily, the S criterion is that the received power (Srxlev) in cell search > 0 dB, and the received signal quality (Squal) in cell search > 0 dB.
[0117] In some embodiments of the present application, when the terminal performs the cell search process, the terminal can determine whether the cell searched meets the first condition according to the configuration information corresponding to the cell, if the first condition is met, the cell is determined as the first cell, if the first condition is not met, the next cell is searched by continuing to traverse, until the end of the traversal, all the first cells meeting the first condition are obtained, and then the target cell to be camped and registered by the terminal is determined according to the parameter for indicating the cell signal quality of each first cell.
[0118] In this way, the terminal can select the available cell of the terminal by setting the first condition, and improve the availability of the cell.
[0119] Optionally, in some embodiments of the present application, after the step 201 "in the case that the terminal detects that the service data transmission abnormally and the serving cell of the terminal does not exist the neighbor cell, the terminal acquires the N first frequency point information", the cell registration method provided by the embodiments of the present application further includes steps 401 and 402:
[0120] In the case that the terminal performs the cell search by using the N first frequency point information and does not search any cell, the terminal controls the counting value of the first counter to add 1.
[0121] In some embodiments of the present application, the terminal controlling the counting value of the first counter to add 1 indicates that the terminal traverses the N first frequency point information once, that is, the terminal performs a complete cell search once.
[0122] In some embodiments of the present application, if the terminal does not search the available cell, that is, the above-mentioned first cell, after ending the cell search once, the counting value of the first counter is controlled to add 1.
[0123] In the case that the counting value of the counter reaches the preset value, the terminal stops performing the cell search.
[0124] In some embodiments of the present application, the above-mentioned counting value is used to represent the number of times of searching the cell.
[0125] In some embodiments of the present application, the preset value can be a default setting of the terminal or a user-defined setting.
[0126] It can be understood that if the count value reaches the preset value, it means that the number of cell searches has reached the upper limit, at this time the terminal determines that no available cell can be searched, and then the cell search is not performed, and the scheme is ended.
[0127] In this way, the terminal sets the count value of the counter to prevent the terminal from repeatedly searching the process in the case where no available cell is searched, and to prevent the problem of excessive power consumption.
[0128] The process of the terminal executing the cell registration method provided by the embodiments of the present application is described in detail below. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, the process includes the following steps A1 to A9:
[0129] Step A1: The terminal detects that the service has continuous flow interruption, for example, single application or multiple application lag, domain name resolution system failure (DNS fail) or request response timeout, etc.
[0130] Step A2: The terminal detects the system message sent by the network side device, such as SIB3, SIB4, SIB5, and SIB24 in the neighbor cell configuration, and the terminal judges whether there is a neighbor cell relationship in the current serving cell. If there is a neighbor cell relationship, it is assumed that the network has normal scheduling behavior, and there is a chance to leave the current cell and switch to other 4G or 5G neighbor cell.
[0131] For example, the above-mentioned system messages are in an "or" relationship, that is, one or more of them can obtain the network configuration of the neighbor cell. The difference is whether it is a same frequency / inter-frequency / inter-system neighbor cell.
[0132] Step A3: If the terminal currently exists in a serving cell without a neighbor cell, the cell is defined as an "island" cell, which means that the terminal cannot leave the current serving cell through network configuration. At this time, the terminal actively initiates a fast network search with 5G priority, and searches for a cell through the historical frequency points saved by the terminal, that is, the frequency points in the above-mentioned N first frequency point information.
[0133] For example, the above-mentioned historical frequency points are the frequency points that the terminal has successfully camped on recently and will be continuously updated. Compared with full frequency bands, it is more convenient to search for available frequency points with fewer attempts when fast network searching. The terminal strategy has the default historical frequency points of domestic operators as the default historical frequency points, so there is a default list in the terminal to maintain the historical frequency points.
[0134] Step A4: When the fast search process, i.e. the search cell process, ends, it is determined whether there is a usable 5G cell in the process, i.e. whether the cell searched is determined to meet the criteria. At the same time, in order to ensure the quality of the cell after escaping, the terminal can set a threshold for the target cell in advance. For example, RSRP is greater than -110, RSRQ is greater than -15, and SNR is greater than 0.
[0135] Exemplarily, the above-mentioned determination criteria include, but are not limited to, whether the PLMN matches, whether the current frequency point of the cell selection condition is disabled, whether the S criterion is met, or whether the IMS emergency call is supported, and the like.
[0136] Step A5: When a usable 5G cell is searched, i.e. the terminal initiates camping and registration to the available cell, the escape from the "island" cell is completed.
[0137] Step A6: If there is no usable 5G cell in the fast search process in step A4, the fast search of the 4G cell is performed, and the search list comes from the 4G historical frequency point. The search process is the same as that of the 5G cell.
[0138] Step A7: It is determined whether the terminal is in a stationary or low-speed motion state. When it is determined that the terminal is in a low-speed or stationary state, a long timer is given, which is approximately 5-20s. Here, it refers to the interval of each search, otherwise a short timer is given, which is approximately 1-2s, and the subsequent action is performed.
[0139] Step A8: The terminal records the number of times of active search, and sets an upper limit of the number of searches.
[0140] Step A9: When the terminal cannot search for a usable network to camp for a plurality of times in succession, it is considered that the scene is a congestion and weak signal scene, and the network environment quality drops to the bottom. The active escape search is no longer performed until the service is interrupted (Out Of Service, OOS), and the scheme ends.
[0141] In this way, the terminal escapes from the current island cell in the form of active search to pursue the purpose of quickly changing the camping network environment, and improves the continuous service congestion of the terminal. In the present scheme, the active escape is initiated in advance, which avoids the problem of long-time data lag caused by insufficient scheduling and weak signal coverage in the island cell, and improves the user experience.
