Abstract

A picking station includes: a tote carrying region in which a first picking location is arranged, a movable-rack carrying region in which a second picking location is arranged, a receiving location and an operation location. When the tote reaches the first picking location, a picking person or picking robot located at an operation location picks a material from the tote at the first picking location to an order container placed at the receiving location. When a movable rack reaches the second picking location, the picking person or picking robot picks a material from the movable rack to the order container. The tote carrying region, the movable-rack carrying region, and the receiving location are arranged around the operation location. In this way, a structure of the picking station is compact, and picking efficiency is improved.

Description

PICKING STATION, ORDER PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE, WAREHOUSING SYSTEM, AND MEDIUMTECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of intelligent warehousing technologies, and in particular, to a picking station, an order processing method and device, a warehousing system, and a medium.BACKGROUND

[0002] In the field of intelligent warehousing, order processing is an important link in an entire warehousing operation process, and relates to a plurality of steps such as order receipt, material picking, and material carrying. With the capacity demand and technological advancement of modern industries, higher requirements are placed on picking efficiency.

[0003] In the related art, when automatically processing an order, a warehousing system may control a robot to take out a tote or tray bearing a material from a storage region and carry the tote or tray bearing the material to a picking station for picking. However, in the related art, a path for carrying the tote or tray is chaotic and stop locations are scattered, resulting in a large area occupied by the picking station and low picking efficiency.SUMMARY

[0004] The present disclosure provides a picking station, an order processing method and device, a warehousing system, and a medium, for resolving a problem that a path for carrying a tote or tray is chaotic and stop locations are scattered in the related art, resulting in a large area occupied by a picking station and low picking efficiency.

[0005] According to a first aspect, the present disclosure provides a picking station, including a tote carrying region, movable-rack carrying region, a receiving location and an  operation location. A first picking location is arranged in the tote carrying region, the conveyor is configured to convey a tote. When the tote reaches the first picking location, a picking person or picking robot located at an operation location picks a material from the tote at the first picking location to an order container placed at the receiving location. A second picking location is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region. When a movable rack reaches the second picking location, the picking person or picking robot located at the operation location picks a material from the movable rack at the second picking location to the order container placed at the receiving location. The order container is placed at the receiving location and is configured to receive the material picked from the tote and / or the movable rack. The tote carrying region, the movable-rack carrying region, and the receiving location are arranged around the operation location.

[0006] Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a picking station with a compact layout. A tote carrying region, a movable-rack carrying region, a receiving location and an operation location are arranged in the picking station. A first picking location for picking a material in a tote is arranged in the tote carrying region, and a second picking location for picking a material on a movable rack is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region. The order container is placed at the receiving location and is configured to receive the material picked from the tote or the movable rack. To facilitate picking and placing the material by a picking person or picking robot located at an operation location, the tote carrying region, the movable-rack carrying region, and the receiving location are arranged around the operation location, so that a structure of the picking station is compact, and for a to-be-processed order, the picking person or picking robot located at the operation location may quickly process the material in the tote and the material on the movable rack, and place into the order container without a walk, thereby improving picking efficiency.

[0007] In a possible design, the operation location has a first operation direction, and the first operation direction is toward the movable-rack carrying region; and a movable-rack incoming path is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region, where the movable-rack incoming path is toward the operation location, and is opposite to the first operation direction; and the second picking location is a location on the movable-rack incoming path at a shortest distance from the operation location.

[0008] When an order includes a material on the movable rack, the picking person or  picking robot needs to pick the material from the movable rack. Therefore, the movable rack corresponding to the order needs to be transported to the second picking location. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a movable-rack incoming path is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region, so as to transport the movable rack to the second picking location along the movable-rack incoming path. The second picking location herein is a location on the movable-rack incoming path that has a shortest distance from the operation location, for ease of material picking. Because the movable rack mostly bears a large material, to facilitate a picking operation, a direction of the movable-rack incoming path is set to a direction toward the operation location. The picking person or the picking robot located at the operation location do not need to turn around to carry the material on the movable rack. In another aspect, during movement of the movable rack toward the operation location, the picking person may pre-determine a location of a to-be-picked material. After the movable rack reaches the second picking location, the picking person may quickly pick the material on the movable rack. This further improves transport efficiency of the movable rack and improves picking efficiency.

[0009] In a possible design, a movable-rack outgoing path is further arranged in the movable-rack carrying region; the movable-rack outgoing path and the movable-rack incoming path are parallel to each other and are in opposite directions; and the movable-rack outgoing path is arranged adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path, and after an operation of picking on the movable rack at the second picking location is completed, the movable rack moves a distance of a rack space in a direction perpendicular to the first operation direction, to reach the movable-rack outgoing path.

[0010] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a movable-rack outgoing path is further arranged, to facilitate circulation of the movable rack on which picking is completed. Specifically, the movable-rack outgoing path is arranged adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path. The movable-rack outgoing path and the movable-rack incoming path are parallel to each other and are in opposite directions. Through the compact layout, rapid circulation of the movable rack is implemented without interfering with another procedure in an order processing process. This reduces space occupancy, reduces costs, and improves order processing efficiency.

[0011] In a possible design, the operation location has a second operation direction, the  second operation direction is toward the tote carrying region, and the second operation direction is perpendicular to the first operation direction; a tote incoming path and a tote outgoing path are arranged in the tote carrying region, , a distance between tote incoming path and the operation location is less than a distance between the tote outgoing path and the operation location, and the tote incoming path perpendicular to the second operation direction; and the first picking location is a location on the tote incoming path that has a shortest distance from the operation location.

[0012] In the embodiments of this disclosure, the tote carrying region is arranged in the second operation direction of the operation location, and the second operation direction is perpendicular to the first operation direction. This arrangement enables the tote carrying region and a movable-rack carrying region to be compactly arranged without interfering with each other. A tote incoming path and a tote outgoing path are arranged in the tote carrying region, and a direction of the tote incoming path is perpendicular to the second operation direction. In other words, the direction of the tote incoming path is parallel to a movable-rack incoming path. In this arrangement, space is further reduced. In addition, because a movable rack and the tote are mostly stored at a storage region in a same direction as the operation location, in this arrangement, a distance for tote carrying can be reduced and tote carrying efficiency is improved. The first picking location is a location has the shortest distance from the operation location. This facilitates picking by a picking person or picking robot at the operation location, and improves picking efficiency of a material in the tote.

[0013] In a possible implementation, the tote incoming path and the tote outgoing path are arranged in parallel and are in opposite directions; the tote outgoing path is arranged adjacent to the tote incoming path, and after a picking operation on the tote at the first picking location is completed, the tote is configured to move along the second operation direction by a distance of a tote location, to reach the tote outgoing path.

[0014] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the tote incoming path and the tote outgoing path are arranged for the tote, and tote incoming path and the tote outgoing path are arranged adjacent to each other, so that automatic circulation of the tote can be implemented. Therefore, the tote is quickly transported to the first picking location, and the tote is quickly removed from the first picking location after the operation of picking on the  tote is completed. Through the adjacent arrangement of the tote incoming path and the tote outgoing path, space is reduced, transport efficiency of the tote is improved, costs are further reduced, and order processing efficiency is improved.

[0015] In a possible implementation, the tote incoming path is adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path, and is parallel to the movable-rack incoming path.

[0016] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the tote incoming path is adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path, occupation space of the picking station is reduced, and costs are reduced. In addition, a picking range can be minimized, and the picking person or picking robot can complete picking of materials in the tote and the movable-rack within a smallest possible picking region. This could improve material picking efficiency.

[0017] In a possible implementation, the operation location has a third operation direction, and the third operation direction is toward the receiving location, where the third operation direction is opposite to the first operation direction, or is opposite to the second operation direction.

[0018] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the receiving location is arranged in a third operation direction of the operation location. Through this arrangement, the order container, the tote carrying region, and the movable-rack carrying region are respectively arranged in three directions of the operation location. The picking person or picking robot located at the operation location does not need to move a long distance, and only need to turn around in three directions to pick and place a material. This improves order processing efficiency.

[0019] In a possible implementation, the picking station further includes an order container carrying region, where the receiving location is arranged in the order container carrying region, and an order container located at the receiving location is configured to receive the material picked from the tote and / or the movable rack; and an order container incoming path and an order container outgoing path are arranged in the order container carrying region, the receiving location is a location on the order container incoming path that has a shortest distance from the operation location, and after the order container at the receiving location completes a receiving task, the order container moves a distance of a container space, to reach the order container outgoing path.

[0020] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, an order container carrying region  is arranged, including an order container incoming path and an order container outgoing path. The receiving location used for receiving the order container used for receiving a material is further arranged on the order container incoming path, and a distance between the order container incoming path and the order container outgoing path is one container space. In this way, compact arrangement of the order container carrying region is implemented, space occupied by the order container carrying region is reduced, and costs are reduced. Further, the compactly arranged order container incoming path and order container outgoing path can reduce a travel path during circulation of the order container, improve the order container circulation efficiency, and further improve order processing efficiency.

[0021] In a possible implementation, the order container incoming path includes a first path and a second path perpendicular to each other, where a conveying direction of the second path is opposite to the third operation direction; and the order container outgoing path includes a third path and a fourth path perpendicular to each other, where a conveying direction of the third path is the same as the third operation direction, the third path partially overlaps with the second path, the fourth path is parallel to the first path, and a conveying direction of the fourth path is opposite to a direction of the first path; or the order container outgoing path includes a translation path, a third path, and a fourth path, where the translation path and the first path are parallel and in a same direction, the third path is parallel to the second path, a conveying direction of the third path is the same as the third operation direction, the fourth path is parallel to the first path, and a conveying direction of the fourth path is opposite to a direction of the first path.

[0022] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, a first path and a second path perpendicular to each other are arranged, to input the order container to a corresponding location of the operation location, and a third path and a fourth path perpendicular to each other are arranged, to remove an order container that has completed a task corresponding to an order request from the corresponding location at the operation location. Optionally, a translation path may be further arranged, and the order container that has completed material receiving can be quickly removed from the corresponding location at the operation location through the translation path. This improves picking flexibility and picking efficiency.

[0023] In a possible implementation, the third operation direction is opposite to the second operation direction; the first path is adjacent to the movable-rack outgoing path and is parallel to the movable-rack outgoing path, and the fourth path is arranged adjacent to the first path; and the receiving location is arranged adjacent to a start end of the movable-rack outgoing path, and is located on a same straight line as the movable-rack outgoing path.

[0024] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the tote carrying region and the receiving location at which the order container is located during picking are arranged opposite to each other. Through this arrangement, the movable-rack carrying region can be arranged between the tote carrying region and the order container. Because the movable rack mostly transports a material with a large volume or weight, placing the movable rack at a location close to the receiving location can improve convenience and order processing efficiency. Further, a first path of the order container is arranged to be adjacent to the movable-rack outgoing path and a fourth path is arranged to be adjacent to the first path, so that occupation space can be reduced and costs can be reduced.

[0025] According to a second aspect, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a warehousing system, including a storage region configured to store a material, the picking station according to any one of the first aspect, a transport robot configured to carry the material to the picking station, and an outbound region configured to temporarily store a material that is picked in the picking station and is to leave a warehouse.

[0026] In the warehousing system provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the compactly arranged picking station and the transport robot automatically implementing material carrying are included. The transport robot may carry the material from the storage region to the picking station, for a picking person or picking robot at the picking station to process an order request, and the transport robot may further transport a material between the picking station and the outbound region. The automated transport robot and the compactly arranged picking station can implement intelligent and automated order processing and improve order processing efficiency.

[0027] In a possible implementation, the transport robot includes: a first robot, configured to carry a tote in the storage region to a first picking location, or carry the tote on which picking is completed to the storage region; a second robot, configured to carry a  movable rack in the storage region to a second picking location, or carry a movable rack on which picking is completed to the storage region; and a third robot, configured to carry an order container to a receiving location, or carry an order container that completes a receiving task to the outbound region.

[0028] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, three robots are arranged. Specifically, the first robot configured to transfer the tote, and the second robot transporting the movable rack and the third robot carrying the order container are further included. For different application scenarios and application objects, different robots are arranged, to satisfy application requirements in various scenarios. In addition, different robots can be accurately arranged to implement scheduling during order processing and improve order processing efficiency.

[0029] In a possible implementation, the picking station includes a first picking station, a second picking station, and a third picking station sequentially arranged, where the first picking station and the second picking station share a tote outgoing path, and the second picking station and the third picking station share a fourth path of an order container outgoing path.

[0030] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of picking stations can be arranged, to satisfy a large-volume order requirement, and two adjacent picking stations may share an outgoing path of an order container, thereby reducing space occupancy, reducing costs, and improving order processing efficiency.

[0031] According to a third aspect, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides an order processing method, performed by a server, and applied to the picking station according to any one of the first aspect, where the method includes: obtaining an order request, where the order request indicates a plurality of to-be-picked materials; determining a storage container for the plurality of to-be-picked materials; generating a first carrying task if a storage container is a tote, to control a first robot to carry the tote corresponding to the first picking location; generating a second carrying task if the storage container is a movable rack, to control a second robot to carry the movable rack corresponding to the to-be-picked material to the second picking location; and generating a picking task to indicate the picking person or picking robot located at the operation location to pick the to-be-picked material from the tote and / or the movable rack to the order container.

[0032] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, an order processing method is provided. Based on a compactly arranged picking station, a first carrying task corresponding to a tote and a second carrying task corresponding to a movable rack can be generated based on an order request. In this way, carrying of a storage container of the material corresponding to the order request is automatically implemented, and order processing efficiency is improved.

[0033] In a possible implementation, a movable-rack incoming path is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region; and the generating the second carrying task, to control the second robot to carry the movable rack corresponding to the to-be-picked material to the second picking location includes: generating the second carrying task, to control the second robot to carry the movable rack corresponding to the to-be-picked material to the second picking location along the movable-rack incoming path, where the movable-rack incoming path is toward the operation location, and is opposite to a first operation direction of the operation location.

[0034] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the second robot can be controlled to carry the movable rack to the second picking location and travel in a direction toward the operation location during carrying. In this way, the carrying path is shortened, the movable rack can be carried to a location convenient for operation by a picking person or picking robot, and order processing efficiency is improved.

[0035] In a possible implementation, after the generating the picking task, the method further includes: generating a third carrying task, to control a third robot to remove the order container that completes a receiving task from the picking station.

[0054] The foregoing accompanying drawings illustrate specific embodiments of the present disclosure, and more detailed description is provided below. The accompanying drawings and text descriptions are not intended to limit the scope of the idea of the present disclosure in any manner, but are intended to describe the concept of the present disclosure to a person skilled in the art with reference to particular embodiments.DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0055] Exemplary embodiments are described in detail herein, and examples thereof are shown in the accompanying drawings. When the following descriptions are made with reference to the accompanying drawings, unless otherwise indicated, the same numbers in different accompanying drawings represent the same or similar elements. The following implementations described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all implementations that are consistent with the present disclosure. Instead, they are merely examples of apparatuses and methods consistent with aspects related to the present disclosure as recited in the appended claims.

[0056] In the field of intelligent warehousing, a picking station is a key component, and is responsible for accurately picking a product required in an order in a warehousing process. In the related art, materials may be stored in different storage containers due to different volumes and weights. The storage container includes a tote, a tray, a movable rack, and the like. When a material needs to be picked, the storage container is carried to the picking station for picking. However, in an existing picking station, different storage containers are placed at a same window of the picking station, or are randomly placed around the picking station in an unordered manner. A carrying path of the tote or the tray is chaotic, and stop locations are scattered, resulting in a large area occupied by the picking station and low picking efficiency.

[0057] To resolve the foregoing technical problem, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a picking station, an order processing method and device, a warehousing system, and a medium. A picking station with a compact layout is provided. A tote carrying region, a movable-rack carrying region, a receiving location and an operation location are arranged in the picking station. To facilitate material picking and placing by a picking person or a picking robot at the operation location, the tote carrying region, the movable-rack carrying region, and the receiving location are arranged around the operation location.

[0058] Some implementations of the present disclosure are described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following embodiments and features in the embodiments may be mutually combined if no conflict occurs among the embodiments.

[0059] FIG. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a picking station according to an embodiment in the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, the picking station according to  this embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a tote carrying region 11, a movable-rack carrying region 12, and a receiving location 13011, and an operation location 10.

[0060] Specifically, the tote carrying region 11 is provided with a tote path, a first picking location is arranged in the tote path. In embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a conveyor 110 is arranged on the tote path. The conveyor 110 is configured to convey a tote 111. A first picking location 11011 is arranged on the conveyor 110, and when the tote 111 reaches the first picking location 11011, a picking person or picking robot 101 located at the operation location 10 picks a material from the tote 111 at the first picking location 11011 to the order container 13.

[0061] A second picking location 12011 is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region 12, where when a movable rack 121 reaches the second picking location 12011, the picking person or picking robot 101 located at the operation location 10 picks a material from the movable rack 121 at the second picking location 12011 to the order container 13.

[0062] The order container 13 is placed at the receiving location 13011 and is configured to receive the material picked from the tote 111 and / or the movable rack 121.

[0063] The tote carrying region 11, the movable-rack carrying region 12, and the receiving location 13011 are arranged around the operation location 10.

[0064] Optionally, movement of the movable rack may be implemented through carrying by the robot. The movable rack may be a tray, and a material of a large volume or weight may be stored in the tray, or a movable rack may be a multi-shelf rack, and each rack shelf may directly bear and store a material, or bear the material by using another storage container. The material stored on the movable rack is generally larger in volume or weight than the material stored in the tote.

[0065] Based on the foregoing picking station, different picking regions are arranged for the tote 111, the movable rack 121, and the order container 13 storing the material, to avoid material carrying chaos during order processing. In another aspect, the tote carrying region 11, the movable-rack carrying region 12, and the receiving location 13011 are arranged around the operation location 10, so that the picking person or picking robot located at the operation location 10 only needs to perform a simple turning-around operation without a walk or a long-distance walk when performing picking at different picking locations and placing the material on the order container 13. The picked material  can reach the order container without long-distance carrying, and this reduces a case that the material is prone to fall due to the long-distance carrying. In addition, space occupied by the picking station can be reduced, costs can be reduced, and a carrying path is effectively shortened, to improve order processing efficiency.

[0066] This embodiment of the present disclosure provides a picking station with a compact layout. To facilitate picking and placing the material by a picking person or picking robot located at the operation location, the tote carrying region, the movable-rack carrying region, and the receiving location are arranged around the operation location, so that a structure of the picking station is compact, and for a to-be-processed order, the picking person or picking robot located at the operation location may quickly process the material in the tote and the material on the movable rack, and put into the order container placed at the receiving location without a walk, thereby improving picking efficiency.

[0067] In a possible implementation, this embodiment of the present disclosure provides a movable-rack carrying region that occupies a small area and can quickly implement carrying of a movable rack. Correspondingly, FIG. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of another picking station according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 2, the operation location 10 has a first operation direction, and the first operation direction is toward the movable-rack carrying region 12.

[0068] A movable-rack incoming path 1201 is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region 12. A second picking location 12011 is a location on the movable-rack incoming path 1201 that has a shortest distance from the operation location 10. The movable-rack incoming path 1201 is toward the operation location 10, and is opposite to the first operation direction.

[0069] Optionally, a movable rack 121 can be transported to the second picking location 12011 along the movable-rack incoming path 1201, for picking by a picking  person or picking robot 101. Because the movable-rack incoming path 1201 is opposite to the first operation direction, and is toward the operation location 10, during movement of the movable rack 121 toward the operation location 10, the picking person may pre-determine a location of a material that needs to be picked, and after the movable rack 121 reaches the second picking location 12011, the picking person may quickly pick the material on the movable rack 121.

[0070] When an order includes a material on the movable rack, the picking person or picking robot needs to pick the material from the movable rack. Therefore, the movable rack corresponding to the order needs to be transported to the second picking location. In this embodiment of the present disclosure, a movable-rack incoming path is arranged in the movable-rack carrying region, to transport the movable rack to the second picking location along the movable-rack incoming path. The second picking location herein is a location on the movable-rack incoming path that has a shortest distance from the operation location, for ease of material picking. Because the movable rack mostly bears a large material, to facilitate a picking operation, a direction of the movable-rack incoming path is set to a direction toward the operation location. The picking person and the picking robot located at the operation location do not need to turn around to carry the material on the movable rack, and a short incoming path is planned for the movable rack.

[0071] In a possible design, a movable-rack outgoing path 1202 is further arranged in the movable-rack carrying region 12. The movable-rack outgoing path 1202 and the movable-rack incoming path 1201 are parallel to each other and are in opposite directions. The movable-rack outgoing path 1202 is arranged adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path 1201. After picking on the movable rack at the second picking location 12011 is completed, the movable rack moves a distance of a rack space in a direction perpendicular to the first operation direction, to reach the movable-rack outgoing path 1202. It is understandable that the distance of a rack space refers to the distance a movable rack travels  from a specific position until that position can accommodate another movable rack.

[0072] That the movable-rack outgoing path 1202 is arranged adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path 1201 includes: a distance between the movable-rack outgoing path 1202 and the movable-rack incoming path 1201 is a distance of a rack space corresponding to the movable rack 121. Based on the setting of the distance, movable racks 121 on the movable-rack outgoing path 1202 and the movable-rack incoming path 1201 do not collide or interfere with each other, and a movement path of the movable rack 121 is shortened.

[0073] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, a movable-rack outgoing path is further arranged, to facilitate circulation of the movable rack on which picking is completed.

[0074] In some embodiments, in this embodiment of the present disclosure, a grating curtain is further arranged in the movable-rack carrying region 12. The grating curtain is arranged between the operation location 10 and the second picking location 12011, and the grating curtain is configured to detect whether the picking person enters the movable-rack carrying region 12. Specifically, when the movable rack 121 does not reach the second picking location 12011, or reaches the second picking location 12011 but does not stop steadily, any body part of the picking person or picking robot is prohibited from extending into the second picking location 12011. In this case, the grating curtain is in an on state, and if it is detected that an object extends into the second picking location 12011, an alarm is raised or a corresponding control operation is performed. When the movable rack 121 reaches the second picking location 12011 and stops steadily, it represents that material picking may starts to be performed on the movable rack. In this case, the grating curtain is in an off state, and the picking person may extend a hand or the picking robot may extend a robotic arm into the second picking location 12011, to take out a material needed to be picked.

[0075] Optionally, that an alarm is raised may be that a reminder is issued, to prompt  the picking person to stay away from the movable-rack carrying region 12.

[0076] Optionally, the corresponding control operation may be controlling movement of a robot executing movement of the movable rack 121 in the movable-rack carrying region 12 to be stopped, or controlling a robot executing movement of the movable rack 121 to reduce a movement speed to a preset movement speed. It may be understood that, the preset movement speed may be determined according to an actual case. This is not specifically limited in this embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0077] In some embodiments, in this embodiment of the present disclosure, a safety mat is further arranged in the movable-rack carrying region 12.

[0078] Optionally, the safety mat is arranged at a bottom between the operation location 10 and the second picking location 12011, and is configured to limit a robot carrying the movable rack to moving to the operation location 10.

[0079] In a possible implementation, this embodiment of the present disclosure provides a tote carrying region that occupies a small area and may quickly implement carrying of a tote. Correspondingly, FIG. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of another picking station according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 3, the operation location 10 has a second operation direction, the second operation direction is toward the tote carrying region 11, and the second operation direction is perpendicular to the first operation direction.

[0080] In some embodiments, the tote path includes tote incoming path and a tote outgoing path. A distance between the tote incoming path and the operation location is less than a distance between the tote outgoing path and the operation location. The tote incoming path has a direction perpendicular to the second operation direction. The first picking location is a location on the tote incoming path that has a shortest distance from the operation location.

[0081] In the example of a conveyor being arranged on the tote path, the conveyor 110 includes an incoming conveyor 1101 and an outgoing conveyor 1102. A distance between the incoming conveyor 1101 and the operation location 10 is less than a distance between the outgoing conveyor 1102 and the operation location 10. A conveying direction of the incoming conveyor 1101 is perpendicular to the second operation direction. The first picking location 11011 is a conveying location on the incoming conveyor 1101 that has a  shortest distance from the operation location 10.

[0082] Optionally, the incoming conveyor 1101 and the outgoing conveyor 1102 may be conveyor belts, roller conveyors, or the like. After a robot configured to carry a tote carries the tote 111 to the incoming conveyor 1101, the incoming conveyor 1101 can transport the tote 111 to the first picking location 11011. After the picking operation on the tote 111 at the first picking location 11011 is completed, the tote 111 may be transported to the outgoing conveyor 1102, and is conveyed to a rear end of the outgoing conveyor 1102 through a conveyor belt of the outgoing conveyor 1102. The robot configured to carry a tote may carry the tote 111 from the rear end of the outgoing conveyor 1102, and carry the tote 111 back to a storage region / storage location.

[0083] In this embodiment of this application, the tote carrying region is arranged in the second operation direction of the operation location, and the second operation direction is perpendicular to the first operation direction. This arrangement enables the tote carrying region and a movable-rack carrying region to be compactly arranged without interfering with each other. The incoming conveyor and the outgoing conveyor are arranged in the tote carrying region, and a conveying direction of the incoming conveyor is perpendicular to the second operation direction. In other words, the conveying direction of the incoming conveyor is parallel to the movable-rack incoming path. In this arrangement, space is further reduced. In addition, because the movable rack and the tote are mostly placed at locations in a same direction as the operation location, in this arrangement, a distance for tote carrying can be reduced and tote carrying efficiency is improved. The first picking location is set at a conveying location at the shortest distance from the operation location on the incoming conveyor. This facilitates picking by a picking person or picking robot at the operation location, and improves picking efficiency of a material in the tote.

[0084] In a possible implementation, the tote incoming path and tote outgoing path are arranged in parallel and are in opposite directions. The tote outgoing path is arranged adjacent to the tote incoming path, and after a picking operation on the tote at the first picking location is completed, the tote is configured to move along the second operation direction by a distance of a tote location, to reach the tote outgoing path. It is understandable that the distance of a tote location refers to the distance a tote travels from a specific position on the conveyor until that position can accommodate another tote. In  some embodiments, tote incoming path is adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path, and is parallel to the movable-rack incoming path.

[0085] Taking the conveyor as an example, the incoming conveyor 1101 and the outgoing conveyor 1102 are arranged in parallel and are in opposite conveying directions. The outgoing conveyor 1102 is arranged adjacent to the incoming conveyor 1101. After the operation of picking on the tote 111 at the first picking location 11011 is completed, the tote 111 is conveyed in the second operation direction by the distance of a tote location, to reach the outgoing conveyor 1102.

[0086] That the outgoing conveyor 1102 is arranged adjacent to the incoming conveyor 1101 includes: a distance between the outgoing conveyor 1102 and the incoming conveyor 1101 is a distance of a conveying location. By setting the distance, the tote on the outgoing conveyor 1102 and the tote on the incoming conveyor 1101 do not collide or interfere with each other, and a conveying distance of the tote is shortened.

[0087] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, the incoming conveyor and the outgoing conveyor are arranged for the tote, and the incoming conveyor and the outgoing conveyor are adjacently arranged, so that automatic circulation of the tote can be implemented. The tote is quickly transported to the first picking location, and the tote is quickly removed from the first picking location after picking on the tote is completed. Through the adjacent arrangement of the incoming conveyor and the outgoing conveyor, space is reduced, transport efficiency of the tote is improved, costs are further reduced, and order processing efficiency is improved.

[0088] In a possible implementation, the incoming conveyor 1101 is adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path 1201, and is parallel to the movable-rack incoming path 1201.

[0089] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, the incoming conveyor is adjacent to the movable-rack incoming path, occupation space is reduced, and costs are reduced. In addition, a picking range can be minimized, and the picking person or picking robot can complete picking of materials in the tote and the movable rack within a smallest possible picking region. This improves material picking efficiency.

[0090] Optionally, a fence is further arranged in the tote carrying region 11. The fence is configured to prevent the picking person from entering the tote carrying region 11.

[0091] Optionally, the fence is located above the tote on the conveyor, and the first  picking location 11011 includes a first surface and a second surface. The fence is arranged on the first surface and the second surface of the first picking location 11011. The first surface and the second surface are two surfaces of the first picking location 11011 away from the operation location 10.

[0092] In a possible implementation, this embodiment of the present disclosure provides an order container carrying manner and a picking manner that are easy to operate and space-reducing. Correspondingly, FIG. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of another picking station according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 4, the operation location 10 has a third operation direction, and the third operation direction is toward the receiving location 13011. The third operation direction is opposite to the second operation direction. It may be understood that, in another embodiment, the third operation direction may alternatively be opposite to the first operation direction.

[0093] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, the receiving location is arranged in the third operation direction of the operation location. Through this arrangement, the receiving location, the tote carrying region, and the movable-rack carrying region are respectively arranged in three directions of the operation location. The picking person or picking robot located at the operation location does not need to move a long distance, and only need to turn around in three directions to pick and place a material. This improves order processing efficiency.

[0094] In a possible implementation, the picking station in this application further includes an order container carrying region 130. Specifically, the order container may be a single-shelf or multi-shelf rack, and an order box or an order tray may be placed on the order container to accommodate a material corresponding to a corresponding order. A plurality of containers may be placed on the order container, and each container corresponds to an order. Alternatively, the order container may directly bear a material without an order container. The order container may be carried by using a robot. The receiving location 13011 is arranged in the order container carrying region 130, and an order container located at the receiving location 13011 is configured to receive the material picked from the tote and / or the movable rack. An order container incoming path 1301 and an order container outgoing path 1302 are arranged in the order container carrying region 130. The receiving location 13011 is a location on the order container incoming path 1301  at the shortest distance from the operation location 10. After the order container at the receiving location 13011 completes a receiving task, the order container moves a distance of a container space, to reach the order container outgoing path 1302. It is understandable that the distance of a container space refers to the distance an order container travels from a specific position until that position can accommodate another order container.

[0095] That the order container moves a distance of a container space means that the order container moves a distance of a container space corresponding to one order container in the third operation direction or in a direction perpendicular to the third operation direction.

[0096] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, an order container carrying region is arranged, including an order container incoming path and an order container outgoing path. The receiving location used for placing the order container configured to receive a material is arranged on the order container incoming path, and a distance between the order container incoming path and the order container outgoing path is one container space. In this way, compact arrangement of the order container carrying region is implemented, space occupied by the order container carrying region is reduced, and costs are reduced. Further, the compactly arranged order container incoming path and order container outgoing path can reduce a travel path during circulation of the order container, improve order container circulation efficiency, and further improve order processing efficiency.

[0097] FIG. 5A is a schematic structural diagram of yet another picking station according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 5A, in a possible implementation, the order container incoming path 1301 includes a first path 13012 and a second path 13013 perpendicular to each other. A conveying direction of the second path 13013 is opposite to the third operation direction. The order container outgoing path 1302 includes a third path 13022 and a fourth path 13023 perpendicular to each other. A conveying direction of the third path 13022 is the same as the third operation direction, and the third path 13022 partially overlaps with the second path 13013. The fourth path 13023 is parallel to the first path 13012, and a conveying direction of the fourth path 13023 is opposite to a direction of the first path 13012.

[0098] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5A, when an order container is stopped at the receiving location 13011, a next order container that is to execute a receiving task is stopped  and waits at a waiting parking space 13-1. When the order container at the receiving location 13011 completes a receiving task, the order container that is to execute the task does not immediately move to the receiving location 13011, but waits until the order container that completes the task passes through an overlapping parking space 13-2 and arrives at a leaving parking space 13-3. The original order container that is to execute the task at the waiting parking space 13-1 passes through the overlapping parking space 13-2 and arrives at the receiving location 13011. A path between the receiving location 13011 and the overlapping parking space 13-2 is an overlapping part between the third path 13022 and the second path 13013.

[0099] To reduce a waiting time of the order container that is to execute the task, and to improve picking efficiency, in some embodiments, FIG. 5B is a schematic structural diagram of still another picking station according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 5B, the order container outgoing path 1302 includes a translation path 13024, a third path 13022, and a fourth path 13023. The translation path 13024 and the first path 13012 are parallel to each other and are in a same direction, the third path 13022 is parallel to the second path 13013, and a conveying direction of the third path 13022 is the same as the third operation direction. The fourth path 13023 is parallel to the first path 13012, and a conveying direction of the fourth path 13023 is opposite to a direction of the first path 13012.

[0100] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5B, an order container that is to execute a receiving task travels on the first path 13012 to the receiving location 13011. When an order container is stopped at the receiving location 13011, the order container that is to execute the receiving task is stopped and waits at a parking space 13-5 at an end part of the first path 13012. When the order container at the receiving location 13011 completes the receiving task, the order container that has completed the task leaves the receiving location 13011 and moves to a parking space 13-4 through the translation path 13024. In this case, the original order container that is to execute the task at the parking space 13-5 moves to the receiving location 13011 to execute the receiving task. During movement of the order container that is to execute the task, the order container that has completed the task may travel on the third path 13022 from the parking space 13-4 and enter the fourth path 13023, and leave the order container carrying region through the fourth path 13023. In this  embodiment, the translation path 13024 is arranged, so that the order container incoming path 1301 and the order container outgoing path 1302 are independent of each other and do not interfere with each other, enabling a next order container that is to execute a receiving task to immediately enter the receiving location 13011 after the order container that has completed the task leaves the receiving location 13011. This improves transport efficiency of the order container and improves picking efficiency.

[0101] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, a first path and a second path perpendicular to each other are arranged, to convey an order container into a corresponding location of the operation location, and a third path and a fourth path perpendicular to each other are arranged, to remove an order container that has completed a task corresponding to an order request from the corresponding location of the operation location. Optionally, a translation path may be further arranged, and the order container that has completed material receiving can be quickly removed from the corresponding location of the operation location through the translation path. This improves picking flexibility and the picking efficiency.

[0102] As shown in FIG. 4, and FIG. 5A or FIG. 5B, in a possible implementation, the third operation direction is opposite to the second operation direction. The first path 13012 is adjacent to the movable-rack outgoing path 1202, and is parallel to the movable-rack outgoing path 1202. The fourth path 13023 is arranged adjacent to the first path 13012. The receiving location 13011 is arranged adjacent to a start end of the movable-rack outgoing path 1202, and is located on a same straight line as the movable-rack outgoing path.

[0103] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, the tote carrying region and a region in which the order container is located during picking are arranged opposite to each other. Through this arrangement, the movable-rack carrying region can be arranged between the tote carrying region and the order container. Because the movable rack mostly transports a material with a large volume or weight, arranging the movable rack at a location close to the order container can improve convenience and order processing efficiency. Further, the first path of the order container is arranged adjacent to the movable-rack outgoing path, and the fourth path is arranged adjacent to the first path, so that occupation space can be reduced and costs can be reduced.

[0104] An embodiment of the present disclosure further provides a warehousing  system. Correspondingly, FIG. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a warehousing system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 6, the warehousing system includes: a storage region 61, a picking station 62, a transport robot 63, and an outbound region 64.

[0105] Locations and quantities of structures in FIG. 1 to FIG. 6 may be determined according to an actual case, the embodiments of the present disclosure provide only optional manners, and this is not specifically limited.

[0106] Optionally, the picking station 62 herein may be the picking station described in any foregoing embodiment.

[0107] Optionally, the storage region 61 is configured to store a material.

[0108] Optionally, the storage region 61 stores a plurality of tote racks, and a plurality of movable racks.

[0109] Optionally, the transport robot 63 is configured to carry the material to the picking station 62.

[0110] In a possible implementation, the transport robot 63 includes: a first robot, a second robot, and a third robot. The first robot is configured to carry a tote in the storage region 61 to the first picking location or carry the tote on which picking is completed to the storage region. For example, when a conveyor 110 is arranged in the tote carrying region, the first robot is configured to carry a tote in the storage region 61 to the conveyor 110, and transfer the tote to an incoming conveyor 1101, or is configured to receive a tote on which picking is completed from an outgoing conveyor 1102 and carry the tote to the storage region 61. The second robot is configured to carry the movable rack in the storage region 61 to a second picking location 12011, or carry a movable rack on which picking is completed to the storage region 61. The third robot is configured to carry an order container to a receiving location 13011, or carry an order container that completes a receiving task to the outbound region 64.

[0111] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, three robots are arranged. Specifically, the first robot configured to transfer the tote to the conveyor or transfer the tote from the conveyor to the storage region is included, and the second robot transporting the movable rack and the third robot carrying the order container are further included. For different application scenarios and application objects, different robots are arranged, to  satisfy application requirements in various scenarios. In addition, different robots can be accurately arranged to implement scheduling during order processing and improve order processing efficiency.

[0112] Optionally, the outbound region 64 is configured to temporarily store a material that is picked in the picking station 62 and is to leave a warehouse.

[0113] In the warehousing system provided in this embodiment of the present disclosure, the compactly arranged picking station and the transport robot automatically implementing material carrying are included.

[0114] In a possible implementation, FIG. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of another warehousing system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 7, a picking station 62 includes a first picking station 621, a second picking station 622, and a third picking station 623 sequentially arranged. The first picking station 621 and the second picking station 622 share an outgoing conveyor, and the second picking station 622 and the third picking station 623 share a fourth path of an order container outgoing path.

[0115] In this embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of picking stations can be arranged, to satisfy a large-volume order requirement, and two adjacent picking stations may share a tote outgoing path (an outgoing conveyor of the conveyor) or an outgoing path of an order container, thereby reducing space occupancy, reducing costs, and improving order processing efficiency.
