[0033] The following description will continue with reference to the accompanying drawings, which will provide some exemplary embodiments of this disclosure.

[0034] Example Interaction

[0035] Figures 2A to 2D illustrate example interfaces 200A to 200D according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. Interfaces 200A to 200D may be provided, for example, by the electronic device 110 shown in Figure 1.

[0036] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may, in response to a received search request, present a search results page, which includes media content. Further, the electronic device 110 may, in response to a selection of media content, present a playback interface for the media content.

[0037] As an example, electronic device 110 may display a search results page 200A as shown in Figure 2A. The search results page 200A includes multiple media content items. In response to user 140's selection of media content 210, electronic device 110 may display a playback interface 200B for the media content 210 as shown in Figure 2B.

[0038] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 presents a search control in the media content playback interface, the search control including a search term input area. As an example, as shown in FIG2B, FIG2B illustrates a media content playback interface 200B of an embodiment of the present disclosure. The playback interface 200B includes a search control 220. The search control 220 includes a search term input area 225. The electronic device 110 may present a search intermediate page in response to the user 140's selection of the search term input area 225. The search intermediate page is used to provide search guidance to the user, the search guidance being, for example, multiple search suggestions.

[0039] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 presents a first image associated with media content in a search control. As an example, as shown in FIG2B, the electronic device 110 may present a first image 230 in the search control 220. The first image 230 may be an image from any frame of the media content. In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can present a first image in a search control, thereby improving the efficiency of information presentation.

[0040] In some embodiments, the first image may be an image determined based on configuration operations associated with the media content. For example, server 130 may determine the first image 230 configured by the publisher of the media content based on configuration operations associated with the publisher of the media content. For example, the first image 230 may include the cover image of the media content set by the publisher. After the search control 220 in the playback interface 200B is presented, the electronic device 110 may display the first image 230 in the search control 220.

[0041] In some scenarios, server 130 can receive configuration operations associated with the publisher to determine the cover image of media content 210. The cover image of media content 210 can be a reference image uploaded by the publisher, or it can be an image selected by the publisher from a set of images provided by server 130 based on media content 210. For example, media content 210 may be text and image content introducing clothing, including images of short-sleeved shirts, down jackets, and shirts. Server 130 can provide the publisher with these images, allowing the publisher to select any image as the cover image of media content 210.

[0042] In some embodiments, the first image may be an image determined based on image information of the media content. As an example, the first image 230 may be a representative image of the media content. The representative image indicates the core content of the media content. For example, if the media content is a video introducing a down jacket, then the representative image may be an image in the media content associated with that down jacket (e.g., an image of a model wearing the down jacket).

[0043] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 may, in response to a search request matching a preset topic, present a first image associated with the media content in a search control. As an example, upon receiving a search request, the electronic device 110 may determine the type of the search request. Further, the electronic device 110 will only present the first image 230 in the search control 220 when the type of the search request matches a preset topic. For example, the search request is for a down jacket, and the preset topic is clothing type. Upon receiving a search request, the electronic device 110 may determine that the topic information of the search request matches the clothing type. Further, the electronic device 110 may present the first image 230 in the search control 220. The preset topic can be set according to the needs of those skilled in the art, and this disclosure is not intended to limit it.

[0044] In some embodiments, the electronic device 110 will only display the first image in the search control when the media content meets preset conditions. Specifically, the electronic device 110 may display the first image associated with the media content in the search control in response to the media content meeting preset conditions. The preset conditions are associated with at least one of the theme of the media content and the access point of the media content. As an example, the theme of the media content may be an e-commerce theme such as online shopping, and the access point of the media content may be located in the search results page, for example, as shown in Figures 2A to 2B. When the electronic device 110 receives a selection of media content 210 in the search results page 200A from user 140, the electronic device 110 may display the first image 230 in the search control 220. When the electronic device 110 receives a selection of target media content on another user's homepage from user 140, the electronic device 110 will not display the first image 230 in the playback interface of the target media content.

[0045] In some embodiments, electronic device 110, in response to a preset operation associated with a first image, presents search results determined by a second image associated with media content. As an example, as shown in Figures 2B to 2C, electronic device 110 may receive a preset operation (e.g., click, long press, swipe, etc.) associated with the first image by user 140, presenting a search result set 200C as shown in Figure 2C. The search result set 200C includes multiple search results determined based on the second image. Electronic device 110 may present an indicator element 240 in the search result set 200C, the indicator element 240 indicating at least one object in the second screen. For example, if the second screen is a picture of a book, the indicator element 240 would indicate the book in the second screen. In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce the length of the search chain, thereby improving the efficiency of information retrieval.

[0046] In some scenarios, as shown in Figure 2C, the second image includes at least a first object and a second object. The search results set 200C includes a first toggle control 250 and a second toggle control 255. The first toggle control 250 and the second toggle control 255 are associated with the first object and the second object, respectively. The electronic device 110 can, in response to the user 140's selection of the second toggle control 255, present a set of search results associated with the second object in the search results set 200C.

[0047] In some embodiments, the search term input area displays preset search terms determined based on the media content. The electronic device 110 may, in response to receiving a trigger on the search identifier in the search control, display search results determined based on the preset search terms.

[0048] As an example, as shown in Figure 2B, the search term input area 225 includes a preset search term, and the search control 220 also includes a search identifier 235 associated with the preset search term. The preset search term is determined based on media content. For example, if the media content is a video introducing down jackets, the preset search term can be determined as "down jacket". When the electronic device 110 receives the user 140's selection of the search identifier 235, it can present search results associated with "down jacket". By presenting the preset search term, search identifier, and first image in association with the search control, the embodiments of this disclosure can efficiently meet the different search needs of users.

[0049] In some embodiments, the search identifier and the first image are presented separately in the search control. As an example, as shown in FIG2B, the electronic device 110 may present a separator 235-1 between the search identifier 235 and the first image 230 to present the search identifier 235 and the first image 230 separately through the separator 235-1. In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can facilitate users to complete different search-triggered operations.

[0050] In some embodiments, the second image may be the first image or the image played by the playback interface at a target time, where the target time is determined based on the time when the preset operation is received. As an example, as shown in FIG2B, when the electronic device 110 receives the preset operation from the user 110 at the target time, it may use the image played by the playback interface 200B at the target time as the second image. For example, if the electronic device 110 receives the preset operation from the user 110 when the media content playback progress is one minute, the electronic device 110 may use the image played by the playback interface 200B at one minute as the second image.

[0051] As another example, after receiving a preset operation from user 140 on the first image, electronic device 110 can determine the current playback progress of the media content. Further, electronic device 110 can determine search results associated with the second image related to the current playback progress of the media content, and present the search results in the search result set 200C as shown in FIG2C.

[0052] In some embodiments, to meet a user's image search needs, the electronic device 110 may present an image acquisition entry in the search control in response to the media content not meeting preset conditions. Further, the electronic device 110 may present an image acquisition interface in response to the selection of the image acquisition entry. Finally, the electronic device 110 may acquire images captured by a camera or receive images uploaded by the user via the image acquisition interface to perform an image search.

[0053] As an example, as shown in Figure 2D, when the media content does not meet the preset conditions, the electronic device 110 can present an image acquisition entry 260 in the search control 220 of the playback interface 200D. After the electronic device 110 receives the user 140's selection of the image acquisition entry 260, it can present an image acquisition interface. The image acquisition interface can be, for example, a camera interface or an image upload interface. Furthermore, after the electronic device 110 receives a target image captured by a camera or uploaded by the user, the electronic device 110 can perform an image search based on the received image. In this way, the embodiments of this disclosure can perform image searches based on images configured by the user, which not only meets the user's image search needs but also improves the efficiency of information acquisition.

[0054] In some scenarios, the electronic device 110 can also receive preset operations (e.g., clicking, selecting, etc.) from the user 140 on target objects in the target image. Furthermore, the electronic device 110 can present a set of search results associated with the target objects.

[0055] In some embodiments, the first image may change based on the playback progress of the media content. Specifically, the electronic device 110 may update the first image presented in the search control based on the playback progress of the media content. As an example, at the first playback progress, the first image may be an image of a short-sleeved shirt. When the playback progress of the media content reaches a second playback progress, the electronic device 110 may switch the image of the short-sleeved shirt to an image of a down jacket based on the image of a down jacket presented on the playback interface 200B at the second playback progress.

[0056] In this way, embodiments of the present disclosure can present a first image in a search control, thereby improving the efficiency of information presentation. Furthermore, by presenting search results in response to a preset operation associated with the first image, embodiments of the present disclosure can also reduce the length of the search chain, thereby improving the efficiency of information retrieval.
