Description

[Correction pursuant to Rule 91 13.01.2025] Lip cosmetic composition for lip volume and wrinkle improvement

[0001] The present invention relates to a lip cosmetic composition for improving lip volume and wrinkles, comprising hyaluronic acid and peptides to provide immediate volume, a refreshing sensation, and wrinkle removal effects, and comprising milk thistle flower petal extract and Spanish licorice leaf extract to provide long-term volume improvement of the lips and anti-aging effects of the skin.

[0002] The lips constantly contract and expand, making them the most mobile part of the body. As they are always exposed to the outside environment, they are easily affected by environmental factors. Unlike general skin, their structure lacks a sebum layer and has a very thin stratum corneum, resulting in very weak defense against external stimuli and making them particularly vulnerable to extrinsic aging. Consequently, research is continuously being conducted on the development of lip cosmetics, such as lip balms utilizing natural ingredients.

[0003] Because the lips consist of a thin layer of keratin and are more sensitive to topical agents, lip balms containing oily ingredients in the form of synthetic oils, waxes, or synthetic dyes can cause itching, stinging, and pain. Additionally, since lip balms have a high potential to enter the body and there are reports that they may be harmful to the human body if they contain large amounts of petroleum jelly or lanolin, the safety of the raw materials and ingredients is required.

[0004] Skin tends to become dry due to aging, continuous stress, and polluted environments. In particular, cationic substances such as yellow dust, dust, and pollution adhere to the skin, causing irritation and allergies or impeding the skin barrier's recovery function, thereby accelerating skin dryness. Therefore, to prevent and alleviate this, it is important to maintain skin hydration by applying sufficient moisturizer.

It has excellent spreadability, is quickly absorbed into the skin, and applies smoothly without stickiness, serving to protect the surface of the lips and balance oil and moisture.

[0024] The “dicaprylyl carbonate” of the present invention is a light oil component that provides a fresh spreadability and is rapidly absorbed into the lips without stickiness. Dicaprylyl carbonate helps maintain moist lips by balancing the skin's oil and moisture levels, and provides a fresh sensation to the skin, enabling other active ingredients to function more effectively.

[0025] The “hyaluronic acid” of the present invention is a powerful moisturizing ingredient capable of delivering moisture deep into the skin and retaining it for a long time. As a skin-friendly ingredient, it is rapidly absorbed into the lips to increase volume and plays an important role in alleviating lip wrinkles. In particular, it is composed of a multi-layered structure that supplies and maintains moisture not only to the surface of the lips but also to the deep layers, thereby keeping the lips hydrated and protected.
