Abstract

The present invention relates to a quantum dot synthesis method for synthesizing chalcopyrite-based quantum dots, the quantum dot synthesis method comprising: a nanoparticle production step for reacting a group I element and a group VI element to produce nanoparticles; and a cation diffusion step for diffusing group III element cations into the nanoparticles by heat treatment. Accordingly, there is provided a method for synthesizing quantum dots having good light-emitting characteristics having uniform particle diameters but not having compositional inhomogeneity.
