Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method and system for providing a content aware quality upgrade notification for a media stream The method encompasses detecting a streaming of the media stream on a streaming platform running at a user device. Further, the method encompasses identifying a set of parameters related at least to the user device, and a user of the user device. Next, the method encompasses identifying one or more target contents in the media stream. Further the method comprises determining one or more quality upgrades for the media stream based on the set of parameters and the one or more target contents. Furthermore, the method encompasses providing the content aware quality upgrade notification on the user device based on the one or more quality upgrades.
