Abstract
This display control device generates a three-dimensional image on the basis of an imaging signal from an imaging unit having a stereo optical system. The display control device sets a cross point of the three-dimensional image closer to the imaging unit side than the tip of a treatment tool when the tip of the treatment tool is arranged in an image height 60% region of the three-dimensional image. An endoscope system according to the present invention is a system in which the abovementioned display control device has connected thereto: an endoscope having an imaging unit with a stereo optical system, and a channel through which a treatment tool can be inserted; and a monitor capable of displaying a three-dimensional image.
