Abstract

The present invention relates to a cleaner comprising: a housing provided with a separation chamber and a filter chamber which form separated spaces, a supply portion supplying external air to the separation chamber, and a discharge portion which discharges air in the filter chamber in the height direction of the filter chamber; a transport unit provided with a case which is fixed in the filter chamber, an impeller provided in the case, a case suction port which guides the air to the impeller, and a case exhaust port which discharges air in the case in the diameter direction of the filter chamber; a separation unit which forms a flow path guiding, to the transport unit, air flowing into the separation chamber through the supply portion, and separates foreign substances from the air by means of the centrifugal force; a filter unit which filters the air discharged from the case exhaust port; and a housing sound absorption portion provided with a sound absorption chamber which is provided in the filter chamber and forms a space separated from the filter chamber, and a chamber communication hole which allows the sound absorption chamber and the filter chamber to be in communication with each other and is positioned between the discharge portion and the filter unit.
