A dual axis module for a SCARA robot, comprising: a shaft (12) comprises a screw and a spline; a ball screw nut (110) coaxially mounted on the shaft (12) via the screw and configured to linearly move the shaft (12) along an axial direction; a spline nut (130) coaxially mounted on the shaft (12) via the spline and configured to rotate the shaft (12) around the axial direction; and a motor unit configured to drive at least one of the ball screw nut (110) and the spline nut (130), the motor unit being coaxially mounted with respect to the shaft (12).
