Abstract

A dust removal and protection mechanism, comprising: a dust removal hood (22), wherein the dust removal hood (22) comprises a top plate (21) and a side plate (23) connected to one side of the top plate (21), the top plate (21) is provided with a mounting hole (211), the side plate (23) is arranged around the mounting hole (211) so as to enclose a welding space (25) together with the top plate (21), and the mounting hole (211) on the top plate (21) is configured for a welding head (13) to pass therethrough to extend into the welding space (25); and nozzles (27) mounted on the side plate (23) and configured to blow shielding gas into the welding space (25), wherein the side plate (23) is further provided with extraction ports (28) for connecting to an external negative pressure source, and the extraction ports (28) are configured to discharge flue gas inside the welding space (25). Compared with the solution of coaxial blowing, in the structure described above, gas is blown by using the nozzles (27) on the side plate (23), that is, the coaxial blowing is replaced with side blowing; and the blown shielding gas forms a gas flow towards the extraction ports (28), thereby greatly reducing the risk of dust such as welding slag and dirt being blown onto a weld seam, further reducing the risk of welding defects such as spatter, porosity and sagging, and achieving the purpose of improving product yield.
