Abstract
The present invention relates a new probiotic strain of the species Latilactobacillus sakei deposited at the "Colección Española de Cultivos Tipo (CECT)" under the accession number CECT 30971, or a variant of said strain, to compositions, pharmaceutical compositions or food products comprising said strain, and used thereof in the prevention and / or treatment of obesity and associated metabolic diseases, inflammation, and oxidative stress. The present invention also relates to a bacterial culture comprising said strain, or a postbiotic composition, a conditioned culture medium or cell-free supernatant from said strain.
