AI Technical Summary
Existing cosmetic products that address skin aging primarily from an aesthetic perspective often exacerbate the condition and fail to address the underlying structural and functional damage caused by exposomes, leading to weakened, less elastic, and less uniform skin.
A specific combination of active ingredients, including 6-[[ (2S)-2-[[ (2S)-2-acetamido-5-(diaminomethylideneamino)pentanoyl]amino]propanoyl]amino]hexanoic acid, fermented Leuconostoc kimchii radish root filtrate, Phaseolus angularis seed extract, citric acid, levulinic acid, sodium levulinate, acetyl tetrapeptide-22, and Helianthus annuus sprout extract, formulated in an emulsion, to promote cellular metabolism and restore skin health.
The formulation improves skin resilience by reducing wrinkles, enhancing elasticity, protecting against oxidative damage, and supporting DNA repair, resulting in healthier and more resilient skin over time.
Abstract
Description
[0001] "Anti -age composition"
[0002] DESCRIPTION
[0003] The term "exposomes" refers to all those agents , internal , external or environmental , to which our skin is exposed .
[0004] Their ef fect is a weaker and more defenceless skin against subsequent exposures ; furthermore , the skin is less elastic, less hydrated, and less uni form in colour and surface homogeneity .
[0005] Behind a visibly aged skin, actual speci fic damage to the structural components of the skin may be concealed .
[0006] Remedying this is not always easy, since the ef fects caused by exposomes do not always appear immediately .
[0007] An approach aimed solely at resolving the issue from an aesthetic point of view, that is , only the visual aspect , is not only not resolutive , but may also play a decisive role in worsening the skin condition .
[0008] Therefore there is the need to formulate a cosmetic product in emulsion form, which includes such an invention, and which aims to restore the natural healthy conditions of the skin, those in which the skin is able to optimally perform its functions , those in which the skin i s able to defend itsel f from exposomes and, finally, those in which it is visibly smooth, even and radiant .

[0050] -visibly reducing the depth of wrinkles , contributing to the improvement of skin structure and elasticity;
[0051] -exerting an antioxidant and free radical scavenger action, limiting the oxidative damage caused by endogenous and exogenous agents ; -counteracting the ef fects of ageing, photoageing and chronoageing, protecting the skin from signs of premature skin ageing induced by environmental factors and age ;
[0052] -preserving the integrity of cellular DNA, reducing the ef fects of oxidative stress caused by exposure to UV rays , pollution and other external aggressions ;
[0053] -supporting DNA repair processes and cellular longevity;
[0054] -stimulating the production of cellular defence proteins and improving skin regeneration, compared with the beginning of the treatment .
[0055] In order for the ef fects to be visible , the formulation of the invention is applied to the skin, in an appropriate amount , every day, for a period of 4-8 weeks .
[0056] From the above description, the advantages of fered by the present invention will be immediately evident to the person skilled in the art .
[0057] In particular, the composition of the invention has surprisingly been shown to optimise cellular functions and improve skin resilience in the long term . Indeed, the formulation of the invention does not merely treat the already visible signs on the skin, but acts on the fundamental biological mechanisms that characterise ageing .
[0058] This approach of regenerating, repairing and restructuring addresses various issues , such as the accumulation of DNA damage , inflammation, heat exposure damage and, in general , stress induced by exposomes , promoting skin that not only appears younger but is also healthier and more resilient .
[0059] • to reduce exogenous and endogenous skin stress that causes ageing ( collagen breakdown and inflammation) , • antioxidant against free radicals ( responsible for skin ageing) ,
[0060] • action against exposomes and factors causing cellular thermal stress ,
[0061] The composition and the formulation of the invention implement a proactive strategy for skin wellbeing, thus acting before the damage occurs .
[0062] Furthermore , the composition of the invention is stable and allows for the addition of fragrances and the preparation of equally stable formulations .
[0063] Moreover, the composition described is not photosensitising .
