Power supply control device

Abstract

A power supply control device (20) includes a first control circuit (30) and a second control circuit (40). The first control circuit (30) controls a voltage conversion unit (25). The second control circuit (40) has a failure detection circuit (41) and a stop circuit (42). The failure detection circuit (41) outputs a shut-off signal to an element unit (24) when it is determined that the supply of power from a power supply unit (10) to a power path (12) is not in a failure state, and outputs a permission signal to the element unit (24) when it is determined that the supply of power is in the failure state. The stop circuit (42) enters a stop control state in which the output of the voltage conversion unit (25) is stopped regardless of whether or not the first control circuit (30) is causing the voltage conversion unit (25) to perform a second conversion operation when the failure detection circuit (41) has output the permission signal.
