Abstract

This detection device comprises: a light source capable of emitting light toward a detection target; a first optical sensor provided adjacent to a first side surface side of the light source; and a light-transmissive resin portion covering the light source and the first optical sensor. The resin portion has a first groove portion formed between the light source and the first optical sensor, the first groove portion blocking light traveling from the light source toward the first optical sensor.
