Abstract

A wireless communication method and a user equipment (UE) are disclosed for reducing receiver desense during multi-carrier operation. The UE receives operational information from the network and applies time-domain coordination information to manage time resources across carriers. The UE aligns uplink transmission time resources across carriers when uplink transmission is permitted, and refrains from uplink transmission in time resources indicated as not permitted for uplink transmission while a network-indicated downlink reception activity on another carrier is applicable. The disclosure also supports power-based mitigation, including transmit power reduction, optional power class fallback, and optional limits on uplink resource block allocation, to further reduce receiver degradation.
