Claims

Filling valve (1) for a cistern (2) for a sanitary installation (3), at least comprising: - a valve assembly (4) with a liquid inlet (5), a liquid outlet (6) and a valve (7) for opening or closing the liquid outlet (6); and - a float (8) for controlling the valve (7), wherein the float (8) is not attached to the valve assembly (4).

2. Filling valve (1) according to claim 1, wherein the float (8) is held movable by means of a holder (9).

3. Filling valve (1) according to claim 2, wherein the holder (9) is at least partially L-shaped.

4. Filling valve (1) according to claim 2, wherein the holder (9) is at least partially basket-shaped.

5. Filling valve (1) according to claim 2, wherein the holder (9) is at least partially rod-shaped.

6. Filling valve (1) according to one of claims 2 to 5, wherein the holder (9) is attached to a crossbar (10).

7. Filling valve (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the valve (7) comprises a lever (11) which can be actuated by the float (8).

8. Filling valve (1) according to claim 7, wherein the lever (11) has an annular actuating section (12) for the float (8). GROHEDAL Sanitary Systems GmbH P24-0390W001 - 18 - 9. Filling valve (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the annular actuating section (12) is arranged in front of the liquid outlet (6).

10. Cistern (2) for a sanitary installation (3), comprising a receiving chamber (13) for a flushing liquid and a filling valve (1) according to one of the preceding patent claims.
