[0005] The invention relates to a hinge arrangement, in particular a concealed hinge arrangement for the rotatable attachment of a door or window sash to a door or window frame about a hinge axis.
[0006] Such hinge assemblies and hinge components are known in various forms from the prior art. They serve to rotatably mount the door or window sash to a frame. Hinge assemblies typically comprise a sash-side hinge component and a frame-side hinge component. The frame-side hinge component typically includes a hinge part, also called a hinge bracket, which is rotatably mounted in a frame-side receptacle of the hinge assembly about the hinge axis. The hinge component, usually mounted on the sash side, generally comprises only a fastening element and a hinge component as a connecting element to the hinge pin located in the hinge axis. To enhance the aesthetic effect and to optimally utilize the available space, parts of the hinge assembly, in particular the frame-side receptacle and the hinge axis, can be arranged in a recess of the frame, usually the frame profile.In this context, the expert refers to concealed band arrangements.
