Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for supporting options trading. The method for supporting options trading comprises the steps of: obtaining information about a first chart associated with a particular asset, the information about the first chart including information associated with options related to the particular asset; generating the first chart on the basis of the information about the first chart, the first chart including price change information of the particular asset for the current time point and a period before the current time point and / or information associated with options for a period following the current time point; and outputting the first chart as at least a portion of a user interface, wherein the information associated with the options can include information about options held by a user with respect to the particular asset and / or information about posts associated with the options related to the particular asset.

Method and device for supporting trading of option products

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for supporting the trading of option products.

[0002] Option products are financial instruments that trade the right to buy or sell a specific underlying asset (e.g., stocks, bonds, currencies, commodities, etc.) at a predetermined price (strike price) within a certain period or on the expiration date. As a significant form of derivative trading in financial markets, option trading provides investors with the opportunity to generate profits by predicting the rise or fall of asset prices, while also being widely used as a risk management tool to hedge against market volatility. Consequently, option trading offers investors the flexibility to profit or hedge against risk without directly participating in the trading of underlying asset prices.

[0003] Meanwhile, in option trading, expected returns fluctuate frequently depending on the exercise timing and price changes of the underlying asset; therefore, users must continuously monitor the options they hold. However, existing systems have limitations in efficiently providing information related to option products and face difficulties in providing users with an optimal trading environment.
