Description

System and method for analyzing content characteristics using zone-by-zone ratios of a reference area

[0001] The present invention relates to a system and method for analyzing content characteristics, and more specifically, to a system and method for analyzing content characteristics using the ratio of zones in a reference area.

[0002] The content described in this section merely provides background information regarding an embodiment of the present invention and does not constitute prior art.

[0003]

[0004] On various platforms providing local information, such as social media and portals, users can search for content by entering place names. For example, when looking for restaurant information near Samseong Station, a user might enter keywords like "Samseong famous restaurants." However, depending on the specific location, the actual address of a restaurant might be in Cheongdam-dong or Jamsil-dong rather than Samseong-dong. Since users may not know precise information about the area they are searching for, content creators sometimes add multiple place names such as Samseong, Cheongdam, and Jamsil as tags to improve searchability. However, using such tags treats multiple place names—such as Samseong, Cheongdam, and Jamsil—as equivalent, which can result in search outcomes that differ completely from the intent of the user or the content creator. Therefore, there is a need to develop technology capable of accurately analyzing the regional characteristics of content to understand the intentions of users or content creators.

[0005]

[0006] Meanwhile, among various content provision platforms, there are those that provide content based on location or region. These platforms establish a standard area for content delivery and can provide the relevant content to users based on that area.

[0007]

[0008] In this regard, Registered Patent No. 10-1914588 (Title of Invention: Banner Ad Service System in which priority is determined for each banner ad by a reference area, Registration Date: October 29, 2018), etc., have been disclosed. In the prior art, a reference area is set for each banner ad, which is a type of content, and the priority of the banner ads is set and sorted using the reference area and provided to the user.

[0009]

[0010] The aforementioned background technology is technical information that the inventor possessed for the derivation of the present invention or acquired during the process of deriving the present invention, and it cannot be considered as publicly known technology disclosed to the general public prior to the filing of the present invention.

[0011] The present invention is proposed to solve the aforementioned problems of previously proposed methods, and aims to provide a system and method for analyzing content characteristics using the ratio of districts within a reference area, wherein the characteristics of the content are analyzed using a reference area set in the content, and the ratio of districts within the administrative district to which the reference area belongs is analyzed and stored as characteristic information of the content, thereby enabling accurate analysis of the regional characteristics of the content to identify and utilize the intention of the content creator.

[0012]

[0088]

[0089] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0090]

[0091] FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of a content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of zones in a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, the content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of zones in a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a platform server (100) and may further include a creator terminal (200) and a user terminal (300).

[0092]

[0093] The platform server (100) can operate a local information platform (10) that provides content to users using a standard area set for each piece of content. That is, the platform server (100) can operate a local information platform (10) through which a creator terminal (200) and a user terminal (300) can connect via a network to upload, share, and check content. Here, the local information platform (10) may be a platform that provides various content based on location or region. In addition, the standard area may be an area set for each piece of content for providing content. The detailed configuration of the platform server (100) will be explained in detail later with reference to FIG. 2.

[0094]

[0095] According to an embodiment, a regional keyword such as “Samsung Station” may be set for each piece of content, and the platform server (100) may provide content of a corresponding region corresponding to the regional keyword and content of a surrounding region of the corresponding region at a preset ratio. For example, if the regional keyword is “Samsung Station,” the corresponding region becomes Samseong-dong, and adjacent administrative districts that share a boundary with Samseong-dong, such as Nonhyeon-dong, Cheongdam-dong, Jamsil-dong, Daechi-dong, and Yeoksam-dong, may constitute the surrounding region. In this example, the regional information platform (10) may provide content of the corresponding region and the surrounding region at a preset ratio. In the example described above, the ratio may be set such as 40% for the corresponding region Samseong-dong, 30% for the surrounding region Cheongdam-dong, 15% for Nonhyeon-dong, and 15% for Yeoksam-dong. Alternatively, the ratio may be set such as 40% for the corresponding region Samseong-dong, 40% for the surrounding region Cheongdam-dong, and 20% for Nonhyeon-dong. In a regional information platform (10) that provides content in this way, the corresponding region set for each content and the preset ratio can be stored as information regarding the reference area.

[0096]

[0097] In this case, as a method for setting pre-configured ratios, if a creator or administrator first selects a ratio corresponding to a target region, the remaining ratio is automatically calculated and presented, and it is possible to prevent the selection of ratios for surrounding regions that exceed the presented remaining ratio. Additionally, if a ratio for one of the surrounding regions is selected, the remaining ratio excluding the target region and the selected surrounding region is automatically calculated and presented, allowing the creator or administrator to easily set pre-configured ratios without the need for manual calculation.

[0098]

[0099]

[0100] The creator terminal (200) can be implemented as an electronic device used by a creator who uploads content to a local information platform (10). The creator can upload content to the local information platform (10) by setting a standard area for each piece of content. According to an embodiment, a standard area set by the creator as a default may be automatically set when uploading content. Additionally, the creator may change the standard area set as a default or the standard area set for individual content.

[0101]

[0102] A user terminal (300) can be implemented as an electronic device of a user that views content through a local information platform (10). The user terminal (300) can input location information or search terms of the user terminal (300) into the local information platform (10), and receive and view content in a reference area that matches the location information or search terms.

[0103]

[0104] Here, the electronic device may include at least one of a smartphone, a tablet PC (personal computer), a mobile phone, a video phone, an e-book reader, a desktop PC, a laptop PC, a netbook computer, a workstation, a server, a PDA (personal digital assistant), a media box, a game console, an electronic dictionary, or a wearable device, and the wearable device may include at least one of an accessory type (e.g., a watch, a ring, a bracelet, an anklet, a necklace, glasses, a contact lens, or a head-mounted device (HMD), a fabric or clothing integrated type (e.g., electronic clothing), a body-attached type (e.g., a skin pad or a tattoo), or a bio-implantable circuit. In various embodiments, the electronic device is not limited to the devices described above and may be a combination of two or more of the various devices described above.

[0105]

[0106] FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating the detailed configuration of a platform server (100) in a content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of zones in a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 2, the platform server (100) of the content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of zones in a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention may be configured to include a database unit (110), a reference area analysis unit (120), and a content characteristic analysis unit (130), and may further include at least one of a creator analysis unit (140), a content provision unit (150), and a statistics provision unit (160).

[0107]

[0108] The database unit (110) can store content and a standard area set for the content. That is, the standard area can be set for each piece of content, and the set standard area can be changed by a creator, an administrator, etc.

[0109]

[0110] FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a reference area in a content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of a reference area by zone according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, in a content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of a reference area by zone according to an embodiment of the present invention, the reference area may be set differently for each content, and the reference area may be set by a creator or manager, etc., regardless of administrative districts. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the reference area of content A may be an area spanning Samseong-dong, Cheongdam-dong, and Jamsil-dong, the reference area of content B may be an area within Samseong-dong, and the reference area of content C may be an area spanning Samseong-dong and Cheongdam-dong.

[0111]

[0112] The standard area analysis unit (120) can analyze the ratio of each district within the administrative district to which the standard area belongs. At this time, the standard area analysis unit (120) can analyze the ratio of each district by Dong unit.

[0113]

[0114] FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating, for example, the ratio of areas analyzed by the reference area analysis unit (120) of the content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of areas of a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 4, the reference area analysis unit (120) of the content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of areas of a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention can calculate the ratio of the area belonging to each administrative district within the reference area when the entire reference area is set to 100%. That is, the reference area of content A in FIG. 3 spans Samseong-dong, Cheongdam-dong, and Jamsil-dong, and as shown in FIG. 4, the ratio of areas can be analyzed as 40% for Samseong-dong, 40% for Cheongdam-dong, and 20% for Jamsil-dong. In addition, the reference area of content B, where the entire reference area is within Samseong-dong as shown in FIG. 3, can have the ratio of areas analyzed as 100% for Samseong-dong as shown in FIG. 4. In addition, as shown in Fig. 3, the reference area of content C spans Samseong-dong and Cheongdam-dong, and as shown in Fig. 4, it can be analyzed as 60% Samseong-dong and 40% Cheongdam-dong.

[0115]

[0116] In this way, the standard area analysis unit (120) can analyze the ratio by area in the unit of the dong to which the standard area belongs, but depending on the size of the standard area, it can also analyze in the unit of district, unit of city, unit of sub-dong (Samsung 1-dong, Samsung 2-dong, etc.).

[0117]

[0118] According to an embodiment, for a region information platform (10) in which information regarding a reference area is set at a preset ratio using a region keyword set in the content, the reference area analysis unit (120) may derive the preset ratio as an analysis result.

[0119]

[0120] The content characteristic analysis unit (130) can match the analyzed ratio by area to the content as characteristic information of the content and store it. That is, the ratio by area analyzed by the standard area analysis unit (120) can be used as characteristic information of each content and can be stored and utilized like a tag.

[0121]

[0122] FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating, for example, content characteristic information stored by the content characteristic analysis unit (130) of a content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 5, the content characteristic analysis unit (130) of a content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention may store the ratio of a reference area as one of the content characteristic information such as the creator name of the content, the date and time of creation or modification, the type (form of a content file such as an image or video), the size, the reference area, and tags.

[0123]

[0124] According to an embodiment, in a regional information platform (10) that provides content of a corresponding region and a surrounding region of a corresponding region to a regional keyword at a predetermined ratio when a regional keyword is entered, using regional information set for each content, the content characteristic analysis unit (130) can match the predetermined ratio to the content and store it as characteristic information of the content.

[0125]

[0126] The creator analysis unit (140) can analyze the ratio of content uploaded by a creator by region for each creator and provide it as a graph on the creator's home page. That is, the creator analysis unit (140) can use the information stored by the content characteristic analysis unit (130) to analyze the ratio of content uploaded by a creator by region and provide information regarding which region's content a specific creator has uploaded a lot of. This analysis information can be provided as a graph on the creator's home page. Since the creator analysis unit (140) analyzes the ratio of the region to which the standard area set by the creator belongs, it can provide information regarding the area where the creator is mainly active, etc., even without using administrative district information. In particular, compared to tag analysis where all tags have the same importance, it can provide a precise analysis of the creator's intention.

[0127]

[0128] The content providing unit (150) can provide content by setting priorities for the content using characteristic information of the content. The content providing unit (150) is configured to provide content to a user terminal (300) from a local information platform (10), and can provide content by filtering or sorting it according to priority using characteristic information of the content. At this time, the content can be provided by setting priorities according to the ratio of each zone.

[0129]

[0130] According to an embodiment, the content providing unit (150) may provide the ratio of the content by area, such as a graph, on the detail page of the content. Thus, the user can intuitively identify which region the content belongs to.

[0131]

[0132] The statistics providing unit (160) can provide statistical information including the number of content according to the ratio of zones and the results of providing content according to the ratio of zones by using the characteristic information of the content. That is, the statistics providing unit (160) can analyze how much content has been registered and provided by administrative district using the ratio of zones and provide it to creators and users. Therefore, according to the present invention, statistical analysis of content by zone can be performed more accurately than when using tags or keywords, and the results of such statistical analysis can reveal the intentions of creators or users more accurately.

[0133]

[0134] FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating the flow of a method for analyzing content characteristics using the ratio of a reference area by zone according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 6, the method for analyzing content characteristics using the ratio of a reference area by zone according to an embodiment of the present invention is a method for analyzing content characteristics, wherein each step is performed in a platform server (100) that operates a regional information platform (10) that provides content to a user using a reference area set for each content in a regional information platform (10). The method may be implemented by including a step of retrieving content and a reference area set for the content (S110), a step of analyzing the ratio of an administrative district to which the reference area belongs (S120), and a step of matching and storing the analyzed ratio of a zone to the content as characteristic information of the content (S130). After step S130, the method may be further implemented by including a step of providing content by setting a priority for the content using the characteristic information of the content (S140).

[0135]

[0136] Since the details regarding each step have been sufficiently explained above in relation to the content characteristic analysis system using the ratio of zones of a reference area according to an embodiment of the present invention, a detailed explanation will be omitted.

[0137]

[0138] As described above, according to the content characteristic analysis system and method using the ratio of zones of a reference area proposed in the present invention, the characteristics of the content are analyzed using a reference area set in the content, and by analyzing the ratio of zones of the administrative district to which the reference area belongs and storing it as characteristic information of the content, the regional characteristics of the content can be accurately analyzed to identify and utilize the intention of the content creator.
