Abstract

The designs represent nesting hubs for nesting of and providing shelter to birds, especially gulls; the designs are characterized by a relatively flat surfaces forming a nest spot, relatively high side planes partially surrounding the nest spot and a roof surface pointing away therefrom for sheltering young gulls; figs. 1.3 and 2.10 depict a configuration having pebbles, fig. 2.7 having nest side walls, figs. 2.8 and 2.9 having ballast elements; dashed lines, such as the openings, pebbles, nest side walls and ballast elements (e.g. concrete tiles) indicate optional features of the design that do not limit the scope of protection.
