Abstract

The design is made of metal except for the funnel, which is made of plastic; its color is metallic up to the funnel, which is black; it has a handle with a glass light connection cone at the bottom, a plastic funnel, an uncovered hole for instrument access, and a long metal shaft with a glass window at the other end; This shaft contains three interior hollow tubes, light fibers and a tube with an optical system; everything is surrounded by a broader exterior tube; on the right and left, two thinner tubes lead into the handle, are redirected to the shaft, and run parallel to the middle tube to the distal end of the shaft; three hollow tubes inside for suction, irrigation and surgical operations, one tube houses the optical system, and light fibers are incorporated between the interior tubes; the design is a medical assistance, with the intended purpose being less invasive endoscopy in general lumbar spine surgery.
