An efficient degreaser is prepared from components in parts by weight as follows: 3-6 parts of sodium hydroxide, 3-6 parts of sodium sulfate, 0.5-1 part of sodium alginate, 0.2-1 part of sodium hexametaphosphate, 2-6 parts of lauric acid, 1-4 parts of triethanolamine, 0.5-1 part of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, 1-3 parts of silicon dioxide, 2-5 parts of carbon disulfide and 3-5 parts of phthalic acid.
