Detailed implementation manners
[0028] [Summary of the embodiments of the present disclosure]
[0029] The summary of the embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the items listed below. In addition, the present disclosure includes any combination of the following items.
[0030] (Item 1)
[0031] A disposable absorbent article for pets is wound around the waist of a pet for installation. The disposable absorbent article for pets includes: a main body portion having a horizontally long shape with a long side direction and a short side direction, the main body portion including a first end edge disposed on one side in the short side direction and a second end edge disposed on the other side in the short side direction; a first leak-proof sheet including a first fixing portion, a second fixing portion, and a first standing portion, the first fixing portion being disposed on one side in the long side direction and being joined to the main body portion in a state of falling inward in the short side direction, the second fixing portion being disposed on the other side in the long side direction and being joined to the main body portion in a state of falling inward in the short side direction, the first standing portion being capable of standing up between the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion along a first standing line extending along the first end edge; and a second leak-proof sheet including a third fixing portion, a fourth fixing portion, and a second standing portion, the third fixing portion being disposed on one side in the long side direction and being joined to the main body portion in a state of falling inward in the short side direction, the fourth fixing portion being disposed on the other side in the long side direction and being joined to the main body portion in a state of falling inward in the short side direction, the second standing portion being capable of standing up between the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion along a second standing line extending along the second end edge, the ratio of the length of the second standing portion in the long side direction to the width of the second standing portion in the short side direction being greater than the ratio of the length of the first standing portion in the long side direction to the width of the first standing portion in the short side direction.
[0032] In the disposable absorbent article for pets in the above-described mode, since the second standing portion stands up between the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion, urine flowing into the space between the main body portion and the second standing portion is blocked by the third fixing portion or the fourth fixing portion and stays inside the main body portion. As a result, it is possible to suppress the leakage of urine flowing into the space between the main body portion and the second standing portion to the outside. Further, in the disposable absorbent article for pets, the ratio of the length of the second standing portion in the long side direction to the width of the second standing portion in the short side direction is greater than the ratio of the length of the first standing portion in the long side direction to the width of the first standing portion in the short side direction. Thus, the second standing portion has a relatively slender shape, and accordingly, the second standing portion is likely to fall down both inward and outward of the main body portion. Therefore, it is possible to cause the second standing portion to fall inward or outward of the main body portion according to the body type of the pet, and as a result, it is possible to improve the fitting property of the second standing portion to the pet, and thus it is possible to suppress urine leakage.
[0033] (Item 2)
[0034] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in Item 1, it is also possible that the widths of the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion in the short side direction are respectively smaller than the widths of the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion in the short side direction, and the lengths of the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion in the long side direction are respectively shorter than the lengths of the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion in the long side direction. In this case, since the sizes of the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion for fixing both ends of the second standing portion in the long side direction are relatively small, it is easier to make the second standing portion fall inward or outward of the main body portion according to the body shape of the pet. Therefore, the fitting property of the second standing portion to the pet can be further improved.
[0035] (Item 3)
[0036] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in Item 1 or 2, it is also possible that the main body portion includes: a topsheet disposed on the skin side; a backsheet disposed on the non-skin side; and an absorbent body disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet. The first fixing portion and the second fixing portion are disposed at positions where they partially overlap the absorbent body when viewed in the thickness direction of the main body portion, and the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion are disposed at positions where they do not overlap the absorbent body when viewed in the thickness direction. In this case, the urine flowing into the space between the main body portion and the first standing portion is blocked by the first fixing portion or the second fixing portion and is likely to stay inside the absorbent body. Thus, the urine can be effectively absorbed in the absorbent body. In addition, by fixing both ends of the first standing portion in a region where the absorbent body has a relatively high stiffness, the standing first standing portion is less likely to fall down. Thus, the urine of the pet can be effectively blocked by the first leak-proof sheet. Furthermore, by fixing both ends of the second standing portion in a region where the absorbent body is not disposed and has a relatively low stiffness, the second standing portion is more likely to fall inward and outward of the main body portion. As a result, the fitting property of the second standing portion to the pet can be further improved. Therefore, according to this absorbent article for pets, urine leakage can be effectively suppressed.
[0037] (Item 4)
[0038] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 3, it is also possible that the widths of the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion in the short side direction are each more than half of the width of the second standing portion in the short side direction. The second leak-preventing sheet includes a non-fixing portion that is disposed between the third fixing portion and the second standing line and between the fourth fixing portion and the second standing line and is not joined to the main body portion. Since the second leak-preventing sheet includes the non-fixing portion disposed between the third fixing portion and the second standing line and between the fourth fixing portion and the second standing line, for example, the amount of hot melt adhesive used in the joining of the two ends of the second standing portion in the long side direction and the main body portion can be reduced. As a result, the leakage of the hot melt adhesive can be suppressed. Therefore, the deterioration of the skin feel caused by the leakage of the hot melt adhesive can be suppressed. In addition, since the widths of the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion are each more than half of the width of the second standing portion, the urine flowing into the space between the main body portion and the second standing portion can be prevented from leaking to the outside from the non-fixing portion.
[0039] (Item 5)
[0040] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 4, it is also possible that the inner end edges of the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion in the short side direction are partially inclined in such a way that they are located on the outer side in the short side direction as they approach the second standing portion. In this case, the second standing portion is more likely to fall down toward the outside of the main body portion along the inclined portions of the inner end edges of the third fixing portion and the fourth fixing portion.
[0041] (Item 6)
[0042] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 5, it is also possible that the length of the second standing portion in the long side direction is longer than the length of the first standing portion in the long side direction. In this case, since the length of the second standing portion is relatively long, the second standing portion is more likely to fall down toward both the inside and the outside of the main body portion. Therefore, the fitting property of the second standing portion to the pet can be further improved, and as a result, urine leakage can be effectively suppressed.
[0043] (Item 7)
[0044] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 6, it is also possible that the width of the first standing portion in the short side direction is larger than the width of the second standing portion in the short side direction. In this case, since the width of the first standing portion is relatively large, when the absorbent article for pets is installed with the first leak-preventing sheet disposed on the head side of the pet, the urine of the pet can be effectively blocked by the first leak-preventing sheet, and thus urine leakage can be effectively suppressed.
[0045] (Item 8)
[0046] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 7, it may also be provided with: a first elastic member disposed along the inner edge of the first leak-proof sheet in the short side direction; a second elastic member disposed along the inner edge of the second leak-proof sheet in the short side direction; a third elastic member provided between the first standing line and the first end edge in the short side direction; and a fourth elastic member provided between the second standing line and the second end edge in the short side direction. In this case, when the first elastic member contracts, the first standing portion is likely to stand up, and when the second elastic member contracts, the second standing portion is likely to stand up. As a result, the first leak-proof sheet and the second leak-proof sheet can effectively block the urine of the pet. In addition, the third elastic member and the fourth elastic member expand and contract following changes in the body shape and posture of the pet, thereby improving the fitting property of the absorbent article for pets to the pet. Therefore, urine leakage can be effectively suppressed.
[0047] (Item 9)
[0048] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in Item 8, it may also be that the elongation rate of the second elastic member is lower than the elongation rate of the first elastic member. By making the elongation rate of the second elastic member relatively low, the second standing portion is less likely to stand up. As a result, the second standing portion is more likely to fall down toward both the inside and the outside of the main body portion.
[0049] (Item 10)
[0050] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in Item 8 or 9, it may also be that the elongation rate of the fourth elastic member is higher than the elongation rate of the second elastic member. By making the elongation rate of the fourth elastic member relatively high, as the fourth elastic member contracts, the contraction force of the region between the second standing line and the second end edge (outside the second standing line) becomes higher. As a result of the contraction of this region, the second standing portion is more likely to fall down toward the outside of the main body portion.
[0051] (Item 11)
[0052] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 8 to 10, it may also be that the elongation rate of the first elastic member is equal to or higher than the elongation rate of the third elastic member. In this case, since the elongation rate of the first elastic member is relatively high, the first standing portion is likely to stand up. As a result, the first leak-proof sheet can effectively block the urine of the pet.
[0053] (Item 12)
[0054] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 11, it is also possible that the width of the first standing portion in the short side direction is larger than the distance between the first standing line and the first end edge in the short side direction. In this case, since the width of the first standing portion is relatively large, the first leak-proof sheet can effectively block the urine of the pet.
[0055] (Item 13)
[0056] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 12, it is also possible that the width of the second standing portion in the short side direction is larger than the distance between the second standing line and the second end edge in the short side direction. In this case, since the width of the second standing portion is relatively large, the second leak-proof sheet can effectively block the urine of the pet.
[0057] (Item 14)
[0058] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 13, it is also possible that the distance between the second standing line and the second end edge in the short side direction is larger than the width of the second standing portion in the short side direction. In this case, since the distance between the second standing line and the second end edge is relatively large, when the urine crosses the second standing portion, the urine can be received by the area between the second standing line and the second end edge. Therefore, urine leakage can be effectively suppressed.
[0059] (Item 15)
[0060] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 14, it is also possible that the main body portion includes: a topsheet disposed on the skin side; a backsheet disposed on the non-skin side; and an absorbent body disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, and the distance between the second end edge in the short side direction and the absorbent body is smaller than the distance between the first end edge in the short side direction and the absorbent body. In this case, it is easy to position the pet's urinary orifice on the absorbent body during installation. Therefore, urine can be effectively absorbed in the absorbent body.
[0061] (Item 16)
[0062] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 15, it is also possible that the main body portion includes: a top sheet disposed on the skin side; a back sheet disposed on the non-skin side; and an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. The distance between the first standing line in the short side direction and the absorbent body is smaller than the width of the first standing portion in the short side direction, and the distance between the second standing line in the short side direction and the absorbent body is smaller than the width of the second standing portion in the short side direction. By making the width of the first standing portion in the short side direction relatively large, the discharged urine can be effectively blocked by the first standing portion. On the other hand, by making the distance between the second standing line in the short side direction and the absorbent body relatively small, the urine blocked by the second standing portion can be quickly absorbed by the absorbent body.
[0063] (Item 17)
[0064] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 16, it is also possible that an inner elastic member is further provided, and the inner elastic member is disposed between the first standing line and the second standing line to impart elasticity to the main body portion. In this case, the inner elastic member contracts following the changes in the body shape and posture of the pet, so that the fitting property of the absorbent article for pets can be improved. As a result, the situation where a gap is generated between the absorbent article for pets and the body of the pet can be suppressed, and urine leakage can be effectively suppressed.
[0065] (Item 18)
[0066] Based on the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 17, it is also possible that the first end edge is the front end edge disposed on the front leg side of the pet when the absorbent article for pets is installed on the pet, and the second end edge is the rear end edge disposed on the rear leg side of the pet when the absorbent article for pets is installed on the pet. In this case, the situation where the urine flowing into the space between the main body portion and the second standing portion disposed on the rear leg side of the pet leaks to the outside can be suppressed. In addition, the fitting property of the second standing portion disposed on the rear leg side of the pet can be improved, and as a result, urine leakage can be suppressed.
[0067] (Item 19)
[0068] A packaging body of one mode houses the absorbent article for pets described in any one of Items 1 to 18. The main body portion of the absorbent article for pets includes a first wing portion disposed along the first end edge and a second wing portion disposed along the second end edge. The absorbent article for pets is housed in the packaging body in such a state that the first wing portion is folded inward along a folding line extending in the long side direction so that the inner edge of the first leak-proof sheet is exposed in the short side direction, and then the main body portion is folded into three folds or four folds along the long side direction.
[0069] In the above-described manner, when the pet absorbent article folded into three or four folds is unfolded in the longitudinal direction, the inner edge in the short side direction of the first leak-proof sheet is exposed. Therefore, even when the pet absorbent article is installed without expanding the first flap portion, the first leak-proof sheet comes into contact with the pet's body. Thus, urine leakage can be suppressed by using the first leak-proof sheet.
[0070] (Item 20)
[0071] Based on the package described in Item 19, it is also possible that the second flap portion is not folded inward in the short side direction. By folding the first flap portion without folding the second flap portion, when the user takes out the pet absorbent article from the package, the front and back directions of the pet absorbent article can be easily identified. Thus, it is easy to install the pet absorbent article on the pet in the correct direction.
[0072] [Examples of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure]
[0073] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the description of the drawings, the same reference numerals are assigned to the same elements, and repeated descriptions are omitted. Regarding the drawings, there are cases where parts are simplified or exaggerated for easy understanding, and the dimensional ratios are not limited to those described in the drawings.
[0074] Hereinafter, a pet absorbent article according to an embodiment will be described. Figure 1 is a perspective view schematically showing a pet absorbent article 1 according to an embodiment. Figure 2 is a top view of the pet absorbent article 1 as viewed from the skin side Z1. Figure 3 is a top view of the pet absorbent article 1 as viewed from the non-skin side Z2. Figure 4 is along the pet absorbent article 1 Figure 2 cross-sectional view taken along line A-A. Figures 1 to 4 The pet absorbent article 1 shown is a disposable pet diaper that absorbs the urine of a pet.
[0075] Figures 1 to 4The absorbent article 1 for pets in the unfolded state is shown. The unfolded state refers to a state in which the absorbent article 1 for pets is extended to a state where no wrinkles are formed. In contrast, the natural state refers to a state where no external force is applied to the absorbent article 1 for pets. The skin-side Z1 refers to the side that faces the pet's skin when the absorbent article 1 for pets is in a worn state, and the non-skin-side Z2 refers to the side that faces the opposite side of the pet's skin when the absorbent article 1 for pets is in a worn state. In the following description, the person who attaches the absorbent article 1 for pets to the pet is referred to as the "user". Typically, the user is the owner of the pet. In the following description, unless otherwise specified, the positional relationship in the unfolded state is described.
[0076] In this specification, pets widely include vertebrates and invertebrates. Typically, they include pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. The absorbent article 1 for pets is particularly suitable for male pets whose urethral orifice is located in a position anterior to the root of the hind legs. As Figure 1 shown, the absorbent article 1 for pets extends in the short-side direction X and the long-side direction Y. The short-side direction X is arranged along the front-back direction of the pet (the direction connecting the head and the hips), and the long-side direction Y is arranged along the waist direction of the pet. The short-side direction X and the long-side direction Y are perpendicular to each other. The thickness direction Z is a direction perpendicular to the short-side direction X and the long-side direction Y, and it includes the skin-side Z1 that faces the pet's skin in the worn state and the non-skin-side Z2 that faces the opposite side of the pet's skin in the worn state. The absorbent article 1 for pets is installed by winding around the pet's waist.
[0077] The absorbent article 1 for pets includes a main body portion 2. The main body portion 2 has a planar shape that is generally rectangular (landscape shape), and this generally rectangular planar shape has a short-side direction X and a long-side direction Y. The four corners of the main body portion 2 are cut off in such a way that the width of the main body portion 2 in the short-side direction X becomes narrower. In addition, the four corners of the main body portion 2 may not be cut off. The main body portion 2 has a front edge 3 (the first edge), which is arranged on one end side in the short-side direction X; and a rear edge 4 (the second edge), which is arranged on the other end side in the short-side direction X. When the absorbent article 1 for pets is attached to the pet, the front edge 3 is arranged on the front-leg side of the pet, and the rear edge 4 is arranged on the hind-leg side of the pet. In the following description, there are cases where the direction from the rear edge 4 towards the front edge 3 is referred to as the front side, and the direction from the front edge 3 towards the rear edge 4 is referred to as the rear side. In addition, the main body portion 2 has a first side edge 5, which is arranged on one end side in the long-side direction Y; and a second side edge 6, which is arranged on the other end side in the long-side direction Y.
[0078] As Figure 2As shown, the main body portion 2 has: a first portion 2A disposed on one side in the long side direction Y with respect to the center line P1 of the main body portion 2 in the long side direction Y; and a second portion 2B disposed on the other side in the long side direction Y with respect to the center line P1 of the main body portion 2 in the long side direction Y. The first portion 2A is the area between the center line P1 and the first side edge 5, and the second portion 2B is the area between the center line P1 and the second side edge 6.
[0079] As Figures 1 to 4 shown, the main body portion 2 includes a top sheet 10, a back sheet 20, and an absorber 30. The top sheet 10 forms the surface of the main body portion 2 that comes into contact with the pet and is disposed on the skin side Z1. The top sheet 10 has, for example, liquid permeability that allows the pet's urine to permeate toward the absorber 30 side. The top sheet 10 is located substantially at the center in the short side direction X. The top sheet 10 is joined to the back sheet 20 and the absorber 30 by, for example, a hot melt adhesive. Examples of the non-woven fabric constituting the top sheet 10 include air-through non-woven fabric, spunbond non-woven fabric, or dot-bonded non-woven fabric.
[0080] The back sheet 20 forms the surface of the main body portion 2 that is located on the outside during wearing and is disposed on the non-skin side Z2. The back sheet 20 includes a liquid-impermeable back film 21 and a back non-woven fabric 22 disposed at a position closer to the non-skin side Z2 than the back film 21. In the short side direction X, the width of the back film 21 is narrower than the width of the back non-woven fabric 22, and the back non-woven fabric 22 extends toward both sides in the short side direction X more than the back film 21. Alternatively, the back film 21 may have substantially the same width as the back non-woven fabric 22. The back non-woven fabric 22 forms the outermost layer of the pet absorbent article 1. Examples of the non-woven fabric constituting the back non-woven fabric 22 include air-through non-woven fabric, spunbond non-woven fabric, or dot-bonded non-woven fabric. The back film 21 is joined to the back non-woven fabric 22 and the absorber 30 by, for example, a hot melt adhesive.
[0081] The absorber 30 is disposed between the top sheet 10 and the back sheet 20. The absorber 30 is located substantially at the center of the main body portion 2 and is used to absorb the pet's urine. The absorber 30 has a substantially rectangular shape extending in the long side direction Y.
[0082] The main body portion 2 includes: a first end portion 7 disposed on one side in the longitudinal direction Y; a second end portion 8 disposed on the other side in the longitudinal direction Y; and a central portion 9 disposed between the first end portion 7 and the second end portion 8. In one embodiment, the first end portion 7 is a region located between the absorbent body 30 and the first side edge 5 in the longitudinal direction Y. The second end portion 8 is a region located between the absorbent body 30 and the second side edge 6 in the longitudinal direction Y. The central portion 9 is a region disposed between the first end portion 7 and the second end portion 8 in the longitudinal direction Y. In one embodiment, the width of the first end portion 7 in the short side direction X becomes narrower as it approaches the first side edge 5, and the width of the second end portion 8 in the short side direction X becomes narrower as it approaches the second side edge 6. By narrowing the widths of the first end portion 7 and the second end portion 8, it is easy for the user to hold the first end portion 7 and the second end portion 8. The first end portion 7 is a part of the first part 2A, and the second end portion 8 is a part of the second part 2B.
[0083] The main body portion 2 includes a front wing portion 11 and a rear wing portion 12 disposed outside the absorbent body 30 in the short side direction X. The front wing portion 11 (the first wing portion) is disposed along the front edge 3, and the rear wing portion 12 (the second wing portion) is disposed along the rear edge 4.
[0084] In one embodiment, the absorbent body 30 includes: an absorbent core including pulp having water absorbency and a superabsorbent polymer (SAP); and a core wrapper covering the surface of the absorbent core. As the pulp of the absorbent core, for example, chemical pulp, cellulose fiber, rayon, cellulose such as acetic acid can be used. As the superabsorbent polymer, for example, granular or fibrous polymers of starches, acrylic acids, amino acids can be used. In addition, it may be that the absorbent body 30 does not contain pulp but is a SAP sheet mainly composed of SAP.
[0085] The pet absorbent article 1 further includes a pair of leak - proof pleats 40. The pair of leak - proof pleats 40 are provided on the surface sheet 10 and are disposed separately from each other in the short side direction X. The pair of leak - proof pleats 40 are configured to cover both side portions of the surface sheet 10 in the short side direction X from the skin - side Z1 and extend along the longitudinal direction Y over the entire length of the main body portion 2 in the longitudinal direction Y. The pair of leak - proof pleats 40 are partially joined to the surface sheet 10 or the back sheet 20 at positions outside the absorbent body 30 in the short side direction X. The pair of leak - proof pleats 40 stand up with respect to the surface sheet 10, thereby suppressing the leakage of urine excreted by the pet to the absorbent body 30 along the short side direction X.
[0086] The pair of leak - proof pleats 40 includes: a front leak - proof pleat 41 provided along the front edge 3; and a rear leak - proof pleat 51 provided along the rear edge 4. In Figure 4In the illustrated embodiment, a pair of leak-proof pleats 40 are configured as independent members separated from other members. However, in one embodiment, a pair of leak-proof pleats 40 may also be formed by folding the back non-woven fabric 22 back toward the surface sheet 10 at a portion on the outer side of the main body portion 2 in the short side direction X. In this case, a part of the back non-woven fabric 22 folded back toward the surface sheet 10 constitutes a pair of leak-proof pleats 40, and another part of the back non-woven fabric 22 constitutes the back sheet 20 of the main body portion 2.
[0087] The front leak-proof pleat 41 includes: a front leak-proof sheet 42 (first leak-proof sheet); and a first elastic member 43 disposed along the inner edge 42a of the front leak-proof sheet 42 in the short side direction X. The front leak-proof sheet 42 is disposed on one side in the long side direction Y (front edge 3 side). The rear leak-proof pleat 51 includes: a rear leak-proof sheet 52 (second leak-proof sheet); and a second elastic member 53 disposed along the inner edge 52a of the rear leak-proof sheet 52 in the short side direction X. The rear leak-proof sheet 52 is disposed on the other side in the long side direction Y (rear edge 4 side). Both the front leak-proof sheet 42 and the rear leak-proof sheet 52 are made of a non-woven fabric having waterproof or hydrophobic properties. For example, the front leak-proof sheet 42 and the rear leak-proof sheet 52 are made of spunlace non-woven fabric, spunbond non-woven fabric, heat-sealed non-woven fabric, meltblown non-woven fabric, SMS non-woven fabric, needle-punched non-woven fabric, hot air non-woven fabric, etc.
[0088] Figure 5 is a diagram schematically showing the structure of the leak-proof pleat 40. In Figure 5 In order to facilitate the explanation, the areas of the front leak-proof sheet 42 and the rear leak-proof sheet 52 that are joined to the surface sheet 10 are shown by diagonal shading. As Figure 5 shown, the front leak-proof sheet 42 includes a horizontal fixing portion 44, a first longitudinal fixing portion 45 (first fixing portion), a second longitudinal fixing portion 46 (second fixing portion), and a front standing portion 47 (first standing portion). The horizontal fixing portion 44, the first longitudinal fixing portion 45, and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 are areas of the front leak-proof sheet 42 that are joined to the surface sheet 10. The front standing portion 47 is an area of the front leak-proof sheet 42 that is not joined to the surface sheet 10. At the boundary between the horizontal fixing portion 44 and the front standing portion 47, a front standing line 44a (first standing line) serving as a standing fulcrum of the front standing portion 47 in the short side direction X is formed. At the boundary between the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the front standing portion 47, a standing line 45a serving as a standing fulcrum of the front standing portion 47 in the long side direction Y is formed. At the boundary between the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 and the front standing portion 47, a standing line 46a serving as a standing fulcrum of the front standing portion 47 in the long side direction Y is formed.
[0089] The horizontal fixing part 44 is arranged on one side (front end edge 3 side) of the absorber 30 in the short side direction X and extends along the long side direction Y. In addition, a part of the front leakage-preventing piece 42 that is arranged outside the horizontal fixing part 44 in the short side direction X of the front leakage-preventing piece 42 may also be fixed to the surface sheet 10.
[0090] The first longitudinal fixing part 45 is arranged on one side (first side end edge 5 side) of the long side direction Y and is joined to the main body part 2 in a state of falling inward in the short side direction X. The second longitudinal fixing part 46 is arranged on the other side (second side end edge 6 side) of the long side direction Y and is joined to the main body part 2 in a state of falling inward in the short side direction X. The first longitudinal fixing part 45 and the second longitudinal fixing part 46 are joined to the surface sheet 10 by, for example, a hot melt adhesive. The first longitudinal fixing part 45 and the second longitudinal fixing part 46 partially overlap the absorber 30 when viewed from the thickness direction Z. In this case, urine flowing into the space between the main body part 2 and the front standing part 47 is blocked by the first longitudinal fixing part 45 or the second longitudinal fixing part 46 and is likely to stay inside the absorber 30. Thereby, urine can be effectively absorbed in the absorber 30. In addition, by fixing both ends of the front standing part 47 in a region where the absorber 30 has a higher rigidity, the erected front standing part 47 is not easily fallen down. Thereby, urine of a pet can be effectively blocked by the front leakage-preventing piece 42. In addition, it may be that the first longitudinal fixing part 45 and the second longitudinal fixing part 46 do not overlap the absorber 30 when viewed from the thickness direction Z.
[0091] The first longitudinal fixing part 45 and the second longitudinal fixing part 46 are arranged separately from the horizontal fixing part 44 and inward in the short side direction X. The front leakage-preventing piece 42 further includes: a first non-fixing part 48, which is arranged between the horizontal fixing part 44 (front standing line 44a) and the first longitudinal fixing part 45; and a second non-fixing part 49, which is arranged between the horizontal fixing part 44 (front standing line 44a) and the second longitudinal fixing part 46. The first non-fixing part 48 and the second non-fixing part 49 are not joined to the main body part 2.
[0092] The front standing line 44a is arranged between the center line P2 of the main body part 2 in the short side direction X and the front end edge 3 and extends along the front end edge 3. For example, the front standing line 44a is arranged between the front end edge of the absorber 30 and the front end edge 3. The front standing line 44a becomes the standing fulcrum of the front standing part 47 in the short side direction X. In addition, it may be that the front standing line 44a partially overlaps the absorber 30 when viewed from the thickness direction Z.
[0093] The standing line 45a is disposed between the center line P1 in the longitudinal direction Y of the main body portion 2 and the first side edge 5, and extends along the short side direction X. For example, the standing line 45a is disposed on the center line P1 side of the edge on the first side edge 5 side of the absorber 30 in the longitudinal direction Y. The standing line 45a serves as a standing fulcrum of the front standing portion 47 in the longitudinal direction Y. In addition, the standing line 45a may be disposed on the first side edge 5 side of the absorber 30 in the longitudinal direction Y.
[0094] The standing line 46a is disposed between the center line P1 in the longitudinal direction Y of the main body portion 2 and the second side edge 6, and extends along the short side direction X. For example, the standing line 46a is disposed on the center line P1 side of the edge on the second side edge 6 side of the absorber 30 in the longitudinal direction Y. The standing line 46a serves as a standing fulcrum of the front standing portion 47 in the longitudinal direction Y. In addition, the standing line 46a may be disposed on the second side edge 6 side of the absorber 30 in the longitudinal direction Y.
[0095] As described above, the first region 42A of the front leak prevention sheet 42, which is disposed on the first side edge 5 side of the standing line 45a, is joined to the surface sheet 10 in a state of falling inward in the short side direction X. In Figure 5 the illustrated embodiment, the first region 42A includes a first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and a first non-fixing portion 48. Similarly, the second region 42B of the front leak prevention sheet 42, which is disposed on the second side edge 6 side of the standing line 46a, is joined to the surface sheet 10 in a state of falling inward in the short side direction X. In Figure 5 the illustrated embodiment, the second region 42B includes a second longitudinal fixing portion 46 and a second non-fixing portion 49. The first region 42A and the second region 42B of the front leak prevention sheet 42 are non-standing regions that are fixed to the surface sheet 10 and do not stand up.
[0096] In contrast, the front standing portion 47 is disposed between the first region 42A and the second region 42B (between the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46) inside the front standing line 44a in the short side direction X and is a region not joined to the main body portion 2. The front standing portion 47 can stand up along the front standing line 44a between the first region 42A and the second region 42B. In addition, since the first region 42A and the second region 42B of the front leak prevention sheet 42 are joined to the main body portion 2, as Figure 4 shown, the front standing portion 47 falls inward in the short side direction X in the unfolded state.
[0097] In Figure 5In the illustrated embodiment, since the first region 42A and the second region 42B respectively include the first non-fixed portion 48 and the second non-fixed portion 49, the amount of hot melt adhesive used in the first region 42A and the second region 42B can be reduced. As a result, the seepage of the hot melt adhesive can be suppressed, and the deterioration of the skin feel caused by the seepage of the hot melt adhesive can be suppressed. In addition, for the front leak-proof sheet 42, the first non-fixed portion 48 and the second non-fixed portion 49 may also be joined to the surface sheet 10 using a hot melt adhesive.
[0098] As Figure 4 shown, a local portion of the inner side of the front leak-proof sheet 42 in the short side direction X is folded back toward the non-skin surface side Z2, and a first elastic member 43 is disposed between the folded-back front leak-proof sheets 42. The first elastic member 43 is made of a stretchable material such as rubber or spandex that can contract along the long side direction Y, for example.
[0099] The first elastic member 43 is joined to the front leak-proof sheet 42 by a hot melt adhesive in a state of being stretched along the long side direction Y. Thus, when the first elastic member 43 contracts along the long side direction Y, the front standing portion 47 of the front leak-proof sheet 42 contracts along the long side direction Y together with the first elastic member 43. As a result, the front standing portion 47 stands up along the front standing line 44a on the outer side in the short side direction X of the absorbent body 30. By the front standing portion 47 of the front leak-proof pleat 41 standing up, it is possible to prevent the urine of the pet from leaking forward along the surface of the surface sheet 10.
[0100] The rear leak-proof sheet 52 of the rear leak-proof pleat 51 includes a horizontal fixing portion 54, a first longitudinal fixing portion 55 (third fixing portion), a second longitudinal fixing portion 56 (fourth fixing portion), and a rear standing portion 57 (second standing portion). The horizontal fixing portion 54, the first longitudinal fixing portion 55, and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are regions in the rear leak-proof sheet 52 that are joined to the surface sheet 10. The rear standing portion 57 is a region in the rear leak-proof sheet 52 that is not joined to the surface sheet 10. A rear standing line 54a (second standing line) serving as a standing fulcrum of the rear standing portion 57 in the short side direction X is formed at the boundary between the horizontal fixing portion 54 and the rear standing portion 57. A standing line 55a serving as a standing fulcrum of the rear standing portion 57 in the long side direction Y is formed at the boundary between the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the rear standing portion 57. A standing line 56a serving as a standing fulcrum of the rear standing portion 57 in the long side direction Y is formed at the boundary between the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 and the rear standing portion 57.
[0101] The horizontal fixing portion 54 is disposed on the other side (the rear end edge 4 side) in the short side direction X with respect to the absorbent body 30 and extends along the long side direction Y. In addition, a local portion of the rear leak-proof sheet 52 disposed outside the horizontal fixing portion 54 in the short side direction X of the rear leak-proof sheet 52 may also be fixed to the surface sheet 10.
[0102] The first longitudinal fixing part 55 is disposed on one side in the longitudinal direction Y (the side of the first side edge 5), and is joined to the main body part 2 in a state of falling inward in the transverse direction X. The second longitudinal fixing part 56 is disposed on the other side in the longitudinal direction Y (the side of the second side edge 6), and is joined to the main body part 2 in a state of falling inward in the transverse direction X. The first longitudinal fixing part 55 and the second longitudinal fixing part 56 are joined to the surface sheet 10 by, for example, hot melt adhesive. The first longitudinal fixing part 55 and the second longitudinal fixing part 56 do not overlap with the absorber 30 when viewed from the thickness direction Z. In addition, it may be that the first longitudinal fixing part 55 and the second longitudinal fixing part 56 partially overlap with the absorber 30 when viewed from the thickness direction Z.
[0103] The first longitudinal fixing part 55 and the second longitudinal fixing part 56 are disposed separately from the transverse fixing part 54 toward the inside in the transverse direction X. The rear leakage-preventing sheet 52 further includes: a first non-fixing part 58 disposed between the transverse fixing part 54 (the rear rising line 54a) and the first longitudinal fixing part 55; and a second non-fixing part 59 disposed between the transverse fixing part 54 (the rear rising line 54a) and the second longitudinal fixing part 56. The first non-fixing part 58 and the second non-fixing part 59 are not joined to the main body part 2.
[0104] The rear rising line 54a is disposed between the center line P2 in the transverse direction X of the main body part 2 and the rear end edge 4, and extends along the rear end edge 4. For example, the rear rising line 54a is disposed between the rear end edge of the absorber 30 and the rear end edge 4. The rear rising line 54a serves as a rising fulcrum of the rear rising part 57 in the transverse direction X. In addition, it may be that the rear rising line 54a partially overlaps with the absorber 30 when viewed from the thickness direction Z.
[0105] The rising line 55a is disposed between the center line P1 in the longitudinal direction Y of the main body part 2 and the first side edge 5, and extends in the transverse direction X. For example, the rising line 55a is disposed in the longitudinal direction Y at a position closer to the first side edge 5 than the end edge on the first side edge 5 side of the absorber 30. The rising line 55a serves as a rising fulcrum of the rear rising part 57 in the longitudinal direction Y. In addition, it may be that the rising line 55a is disposed in the longitudinal direction Y at a position closer to the center line P1 than the absorber 30.
[0106] The rising line 56a is disposed between the center line P1 in the longitudinal direction Y of the main body part 2 and the second side edge 6, and extends in the transverse direction X. For example, the rising line 56a is disposed in the longitudinal direction Y at a position closer to the second side edge 6 than the end edge on the second side edge 6 side of the absorber 30. The rising line 56a serves as a rising fulcrum of the rear rising part 57 in the longitudinal direction Y. In addition, it may be that the rising line 56a is disposed in the longitudinal direction Y at a position closer to the center line P1 than the absorber 30.
[0107] As described above, the first region 52A of the rear leak - preventing sheet 52, which is disposed at a position closer to the first side edge 5 than the standing line 55a, is joined to the surface sheet 10 in a state of falling inward in the short - side direction X. In Figure 5 the illustrated embodiment, the first region 52A includes a first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and a first non - fixing portion 58. Similarly, the second region 52B of the rear leak - preventing sheet 52, which is disposed at a position closer to the second side edge 6 than the standing line 56a, is joined to the surface sheet 10 in a state of falling inward in the short - side direction X. In Figure 5 the illustrated embodiment, the second region 52B includes a second longitudinal fixing portion 56 and a second non - fixing portion 59. The first region 52A and the second region 52B of the rear leak - preventing sheet 52 are non - standing regions that are fixed to the surface sheet 10 and do not stand up.
[0108] In contrast, the rear standing portion 57 is disposed between the first region 52A and the second region 52B (between the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56) inside the rear standing line 54a in the short - side direction X and is a region non - joined to the main body portion 2. The rear standing portion 57 can stand up along the rear standing line 54a between the first region 52A and the second region 52B. In addition, since the first region 52A and the second region 52B of the rear leak - preventing sheet 52 are joined to the main body portion 2, as Figure 4 shown, the rear standing portion 57 falls inward in the short - side direction X in the unfolded state.
[0109] Since the rear standing portion 57 stands up between the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56, urine flowing into the space between the main body portion 2 and the rear standing portion 57 and flowing along the transverse fixing portion 54 is blocked by the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 or the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 and stays inside the main body portion 2. As a result, it is possible to suppress the leakage of the pet's urine to the outside of the pet absorbent article 1.
[0110] In Figure 5 the illustrated embodiment, since the first region 52A and the second region 52B respectively include the first non - fixing portion 58 and the second non - fixing portion 59, the amount of hot - melt adhesive used for fixing the first region 52A and the second region 52B can be reduced. As a result, it is possible to suppress the following situation: when bonding, the hot - melt adhesive oozes out to the skin - facing side Z1, and the skin feel of the pet absorbent article 1 deteriorates. In addition, for the rear leak - preventing sheet 52, the first non - fixing portion 58 and the second non - fixing portion 59 may also be joined to the surface sheet 10 using a hot - melt adhesive.
[0111] As Figure 4As shown, the inner part of the rear leakage-preventing piece 52 in the short-side direction X is folded back toward the non-skin surface side Z2, and a second elastic member 53 is disposed between the folded-back rear leakage-preventing pieces 52. The second elastic member 53 is made of a stretchable material such as rubber or spandex that can contract in the long-side direction Y, for example.
[0112] The second elastic member 53 is joined to the rear leakage-preventing piece 52 by a hot-melt adhesive in a state of being stretched in the long-side direction Y. Thus, when the second elastic member 53 contracts in the long-side direction Y, the rear standing portion 57 of the rear leakage-preventing piece 52 contracts in the long-side direction Y together with the second elastic member 53. As a result, the rear standing portion 57 stands up along the rear standing line 54a on the outside in the short-side direction X of the absorber 30. By the rear standing portion 57 of the rear leakage-preventing pleat 51 standing up, it is possible to prevent the urine of the pet from leaking backward along the surface of the surface sheet 10.
[0113] The first longitudinal fixing portion 45, the second longitudinal fixing portion 46, the first longitudinal fixing portion 55, and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are each joined to the main body portion 2 in such a manner that the joined state is not released even when a force equal to or greater than a predetermined value is applied to the joined portion (for example, when the joined portion comes into contact with the pet during the installation of the pet absorbent article 1 and a force in the direction of releasing the joining is applied to the joined portion due to the movement of the pet's body). It is also possible that the first longitudinal fixing portion 45, the second longitudinal fixing portion 46, the first longitudinal fixing portion 55, and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are joined to the main body portion 2 by the same joining method as each other. In Figure 5 the illustrated embodiment, the first longitudinal fixing portion 45, the second longitudinal fixing portion 46, the first longitudinal fixing portion 55, and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are all joined to the main body portion 2 using a hot-melt adhesive. It is also possible that the force per unit area required to peel the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 from the main body portion 2 is substantially the same as the force per unit area required to peel the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 from the main body portion 2. For example, it is also possible that the amount of hot-melt adhesive coated per unit area of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 is substantially the same as the amount of hot-melt adhesive coated per unit area of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46. Further, it is also possible that the first longitudinal fixing portion 45, the second longitudinal fixing portion 46, the first longitudinal fixing portion 55, and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are mechanically joined to the main body portion 2 by embossing or the like. It is also possible that the first longitudinal fixing portion 45, the second longitudinal fixing portion 46, the first longitudinal fixing portion 55, and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are joined to the main body portion 2 by sonic processing.
[0114] In one embodiment, the absorbent article 1 for pets further includes a third elastic member 61, a fourth elastic member 62, and a plurality of inner elastic members 63. The third elastic member 61, the fourth elastic member 62, and the plurality of inner elastic members 63 are made of stretchable materials such as rubber, stretchable non-woven fabric, stretchable film, or spandex, and can stretch along the long side direction Y. In addition, the number of the third elastic member 61, the fourth elastic member 62, and the inner elastic members 63 may be two or more. As Figure 4 shown, for example, the third elastic member 61 and the fourth elastic member 62 are disposed between a pair of leak-proof pleats 40 and the back sheet 20 (back non-woven fabric 22). The inner elastic members 63 are disposed between the front sheet 10 and the back sheet 20. The third elastic member 61, the fourth elastic member 62, and the inner elastic members 63 stretch following changes in the body shape and posture of the pet in the long side direction Y (such as the action of the pet wriggling its body, etc.).
[0115] The third elastic member 61 is provided between the front standing line 44a in the short side direction X and the front end edge 3, and extends along the long side direction Y. The third elastic member 61 is disposed between the front leak-proof pleat 41 and the back sheet 20. The third elastic member 61 is joined to the main body portion 2 in a state of being stretched along the long side direction Y by a hot melt adhesive. The third elastic member 61 is joined to the front leak-proof sheet 42 of the front leak-proof pleat 41 and the back non-woven fabric 22. The third elastic member 61 imparts stretchability to the main body portion 2.
[0116] The fourth elastic member 62 is provided between the rear standing line 54a in the short side direction X and the rear end edge 4, and extends along the long side direction Y. The fourth elastic member 62 is disposed between the rear leak-proof pleat 51 and the back sheet 20. The fourth elastic member 62 is joined to the main body portion 2 in a state of being stretched along the long side direction Y by a hot melt adhesive. The fourth elastic member 62 is joined to the rear leak-proof sheet 52 of the rear leak-proof pleat 51 and the back non-woven fabric 22. The fourth elastic member 62 imparts stretchability to the main body portion 2.
[0117] As Figure 2 and Figure 5 shown, the inner elastic members 63 are disposed between the front standing line 44a and the rear standing line 54a in the short side direction X, and impart stretchability to the main body portion 2. In one embodiment, a plurality of inner elastic members 63 are provided at the first end portion 7 of the main body portion 2, and impart stretchability to the first end portion 7. More specifically, the plurality of inner elastic members 63 extend between the absorbent body 30 and a latching portion 70 described later. The inner elastic members 63 are disposed on the non-skin side Z2 with respect to the front sheet 10. For example, the inner elastic members 63 are disposed between the front sheet 10 and the back film 21, and are joined to the front sheet 10 and the back film 21 by a hot melt adhesive in a state of being stretched along the long side direction Y.
[0118] The absorbent article 1 for pets further includes a fastening portion 70. The fastening portion 70 is a member that fastens the first portion 2A and the second portion 2B. As Figure 1 and Figure 2 shown, the fastening portion 70 has a rectangular shape that is longer in the short side direction X, and is provided at the first end portion 7 of the first portion 2A. The fastening portion 70 is provided on the surface of the surface sheet 10. The fastening portion 70 is, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener having a plurality of hooks, and can be fastened to the back sheet 20 of the second portion 2B from the non-skin side Z2. In addition, it is also possible that the fastening portion 70 is fastened to a part of the surface sheet 10 located at the second portion 2B. That is, it is also possible that a part of the surface sheet 10 located at the first portion 2A and another part of the surface sheet 10 located at the second portion 2B are fastened together.
[0119] In one embodiment, a target portion 71 is provided on the outer surface of the back sheet 20 of the second portion 2B. As Figure 3 shown, the target portion 71 is, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener having a plurality of loops that engage with the plurality of hooks of the fastening portion 70, and has a rectangular shape that is longer in the long side direction Y. When installing the absorbent article 1 for pets, the fastening portion 70 is fastened to the back sheet 20 by means of the target portion 71 provided on the back sheet 20. In addition, it is also possible that the fastening portion 70 can be directly fastened to the back sheet 20.
[0120] Next, with reference to Figure 5 and Figure 6 the dimensions of each component of the absorbent article 1 for pets will be described. Figure 6 is an enlarged plan view showing a part of the absorbent article 1 for pets shown in Figure 5 . In the following description, as Figure 5 shown, the width of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 in the short side direction X is referred to as width W1, the width of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 in the short side direction X is referred to as width W2, and the width of the front standing portion 47 in the short side direction X is referred to as width W3. In addition, it is assumed that when the widths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 vary locally in the long side direction Y, the maximum widths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 in the short side direction X are respectively referred to as width W1 and width W2. Further, the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 refers to the distance between the inner edge 42a of the front leakage-preventing sheet 42 and the front standing line 44a in the short side direction X.
[0121] In addition, in the following description, it is assumed that the length of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 in the longitudinal direction Y is referred to as length L1, the length of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 in the longitudinal direction Y is referred to as length L2, and the length of the front standing portion 47 in the longitudinal direction Y is referred to as length L3. Further, it is assumed that when the lengths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 locally vary in the short-side direction X, the maximum lengths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 in the longitudinal direction Y are respectively referred to as length L1 and length L2. Additionally, the length L3 of the front standing portion 47 refers to the distance between the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 in the longitudinal direction Y.
[0122] Furthermore, in the following description, it is assumed that the width of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 in the short-side direction X is referred to as width W4, the width of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 in the short-side direction X is referred to as width W5, and the width of the rear standing portion 57 in the short-side direction X is referred to as width W6. Further, it is assumed that when the widths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 locally vary in the longitudinal direction Y, the maximum widths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 in the short-side direction X are respectively referred to as width W4 and width W5. Additionally, the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57 refers to the distance between the inner edge 52a of the rear leak-proof piece 52 and the rear standing line 54a in the short-side direction X.
[0123] In addition, in the following description, it is assumed that the length of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 in the longitudinal direction Y is referred to as length L4, the length of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 in the longitudinal direction Y is referred to as length L5, and the length of the rear standing portion 57 in the longitudinal direction Y is referred to as length L6. Further, it is assumed that when the lengths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 locally vary in the short-side direction X, the maximum lengths of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 in the longitudinal direction Y are respectively referred to as length L4 and length L5. Additionally, the length L6 of the rear standing portion 57 refers to the distance between the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 in the longitudinal direction Y.
[0124] The width W1 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 is smaller than the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 by an amount corresponding to the width of the first non-fixing portion 48 in the short-side direction X. The width W2 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 is smaller than the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 by an amount corresponding to the width of the second non-fixing portion 49 in the short-side direction X.
[0125] Alternatively, the width W1 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the width W2 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 may be substantially the same, and the length L1 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the length L2 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 may be substantially the same. In this case, when viewed from the thickness direction Z, the area of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the area of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 are substantially the same.
[0126] The width W4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 is smaller than the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57 by an amount corresponding to the width of the first non-fixing portion 58 in the short side direction X. The width W5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 is smaller than the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57 by an amount corresponding to the width of the second non-fixing portion 59 in the short side direction X. Alternatively, the width W4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the width W5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 may each be more than half of the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57. In this case, the width W4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 is larger than the width of the first non-fixing portion 58 in the short side direction X, and the width W5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 is larger than the width of the second non-fixing portion 59 in the short side direction X. By making the widths of the first non-fixing portion 58 and the second non-fixing portion 59 relatively small, it is possible to suppress the leakage of urine flowing into the space between the main body portion 2 and the rear standing portion 57 from the first non-fixing portion 58 or the second non-fixing portion 59 to the outside.
[0127] In one embodiment, alternatively, the width W4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the width W5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 may be substantially the same, and the length L4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 may be longer than the length L5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56. In this case, when viewed from the thickness direction Z, the area of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 is larger than the area of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56.
[0128] In Figure 5 In the embodiment shown, the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 is larger than the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57. In addition, the length L6 of the rear standing portion 57 is longer than the length L3 of the front standing portion 47. Therefore, the ratio of the length L6 to the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57 is greater than the ratio of the length L3 to the width W3 of the front standing portion 47. Thus, the rear standing portion 57 has a relatively slender shape, and accordingly, the rear standing portion 57 is likely to fall down both inward and outward of the main body portion 2. For example, when the genital organ of a pet is located at the front, the rear standing portion 57 falls inward of the main body portion 2, and thus the rear standing portion 57 is likely to closely adhere to the genital organ of the pet. When the genital organ of a pet is located at the rear, the rear standing portion 57 falls outward of the main body portion 2, and thus the rear standing portion 57 is likely to wrap around the genital organ of the pet. In this way, since the rear standing portion 57 can be made to fall inward or outward of the main body portion 2 according to the body size of the pet, the adhesion of the rear standing portion 57 to the pet can be improved, and as a result, urine leakage can be suppressed.
[0129] The width W4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the width W5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are respectively smaller than the width W1 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the width W2 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46. In addition, the length L4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the length L5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are respectively shorter than the length L1 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the length L2 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46. That is, the area of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 is smaller than the area of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 when viewed from the thickness direction Z, and the area of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 is smaller than the area of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46 when viewed from the thickness direction Z. By making the sizes of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 that fix both ends of the rear standing portion 57 in the long side direction Y relatively small, it is easier to make the rear standing portion 57 fall inward or outward of the main body portion 2 according to the body shape of the pet. In Figure 5 In the illustrated embodiment, both the width W4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the width W5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are smaller than any one of the width W1 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the width W2 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46. In addition, both the length L4 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the length L5 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are shorter than any one of the length L1 of the first longitudinal fixing portion 45 and the length L2 of the second longitudinal fixing portion 46.
[0130] As described above, the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 do not overlap with the absorber 30 when viewed from the thickness direction Z. By fixing both ends of the rear standing portion 57 in a region with lower stiffness where the absorber 30 is not arranged, the rear standing portion 57 is more likely to fall inward and outward of the main body portion 2.
[0131] In the following description, it is assumed that, as Figure 6 shown, the distance between the front edge 3 in the short side direction X and the absorber 30 is referred to as distance D1, the distance between the front standing line 44a in the short side direction X and the front edge 3 is referred to as distance D2, and the distance between the front standing line 44a in the short side direction X and the absorber 30 is referred to as distance D3. In addition, it is assumed that the distance between the rear edge 4 in the short side direction X and the absorber 30 is referred to as distance D4, the distance between the rear standing line 54a in the short side direction X and the rear edge 4 is referred to as distance D5, and the distance between the rear standing line 54a in the short side direction X and the absorber 30 is referred to as distance D6.
[0132] It may also be, as Figure 6As shown, the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 is larger than the distance D2 between the front standing line 44a and the front edge 3, and the distance D5 between the rear standing line 54a and the rear edge 4 is larger than the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57. As described above, by making the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 relatively large, it is possible to effectively block the urine excreted forward by the pet by the front leak-preventing piece 42. In addition, since the distance D5 between the rear standing line 54a and the rear edge 4 is relatively large, when the urine passes over the rear standing portion 57, the urine can be received by the area between the rear standing line 54a and the rear edge 4, so that the urine can stay at a position closer to the inside than the rear edge 4. Therefore, urine leakage can be effectively suppressed. In addition, it may be that the distance D2 between the front standing line 44a and the front edge 3 is larger than the width W3 of the front standing portion 47.
[0133] In one embodiment, it may also be that the distance D4 between the rear edge 4 and the absorbent body 30 is smaller than the distance D1 between the front edge 3 and the absorbent body 30. By making the distance D4 between the rear edge 4 and the absorbent body 30 relatively small, it is easy to arrange the pet's urinary orifice above the absorbent body 30 when installing the pet absorbent article 1. Therefore, urine can be effectively absorbed in the absorbent body 30.
[0134] In one embodiment, it may also be that the distance D3 between the front standing line 44a and the absorbent body 30 is smaller than the width W3 of the front standing portion 47, and the distance D6 between the rear standing line 54a and the absorbent body 30 is smaller than the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57. As Figure 6 shown, when the front standing line 44a and the rear standing line 54a are arranged at positions not overlapping with the absorbent body 30, by making the distances D3 and D6 relatively small, the front standing line 44a and the rear standing line 54a are arranged near the absorbent body 30, so that the urine blocked by the front standing portion 47 and the rear standing portion 57 can be reliably absorbed by the absorbent body 30.
[0135] Next, the relationship between the elongation rates of the first elastic member 43, the second elastic member 53, the third elastic member 61, and the fourth elastic member 62 will be described. Here, the elongation rate refers to the degree of elongation when the natural length of these elastic members is set to 1. The natural length of the elastic member refers to the length of the elastic member when no external force is applied. For example, the elongation rate of the first elastic member 43 is obtained by (the length of the first elastic member 43 in the wearing state) / (the length of the first elastic member 43 in the natural state). The larger the elongation rate, the greater the contraction force of the elastic member in the wearing state.
[0136] In one embodiment, it is also possible that the elongation rate of the second elastic member 53 is lower than that of the first elastic member 43. By making the elongation rate of the second elastic member 53 relatively low, the rear standing portion 57 is less likely to stand up. As a result, the rear standing portion 57 is more likely to fall down toward both the inside and the outside of the main body portion 2.
[0137] In one embodiment, it is also possible that the elongation rate of the fourth elastic member 62 is higher than that of the second elastic member 53. By making the elongation rate of the fourth elastic member 62 relatively high, as the fourth elastic member 62 contracts, the contraction force in the region between the rear standing line 54a and the rear end edge 4 (outside the rear standing line 54a) becomes higher. As a result of the contraction of this region, the rear standing portion 57 is more likely to fall down toward the outside of the main body portion 2.
[0138] In one embodiment, it is also possible that the elongation rate of the first elastic member 43 is equal to or higher than that of the third elastic member 61. In this case, by making the elongation rate of the first elastic member 43 relatively high, the front standing portion 47 is likely to stand up. As a result, the urine of the pet can be effectively blocked by the front leak-proof flap 42.
[0139] Next, with reference to Figure 7 The procedure for attaching the pet absorbent article 1 to a pet will be described. First, the user presses the second end portion 8 of the pet absorbent article 1 against the back of the pet and presses near the second end portion 8 with one hand. Next, the user holds the first end portion 7 of the pet absorbent article 1 with the other hand and wraps the pet absorbent article 1 so as to cover the abdomen of the pet. At this time, the pet absorbent article 1 is attached in such a manner that the front leak-proof pleat 41 is disposed at a position in front of the urethral orifice of the pet and the rear leak-proof pleat 51 is disposed at a position behind the urethral orifice of the pet. Next, the user pulls up the first end portion 7 upward so that the pet absorbent article 1 fits tightly against the waist of the pet, and then engages the engaging portion 70 with the target portion 71 of the second end portion 8. In this way, by engaging the engaging portion 70 and the target portion 71, the pet absorbent article 1 can be attached to the pet at an appropriate position.
[0140] [Modification Example]
[0141] Figure 8 is a top view showing a partial enlargement of the pet absorbent article 1A of the first modification example. In Figure 6 In the illustrated embodiment, the distance D5 between the rear standing line 54a and the rear end edge 4 is larger than the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57, but in the pet absorbent article 1A, the difference from the pet absorbent article 1 is that the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57 is larger than the distance D5 between the rear standing line 54a and the rear end edge 4.
[0142] In the pet absorbent article 1A, the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 is larger than the distance D2 between the front standing line 44a and the front edge 3, and the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57 is larger than the distance D5 between the rear standing line 54a and the rear edge 4. Since the widths W3 of the front standing portion 47 and W6 of the rear standing portion 57 are relatively large, the front leakage-preventing sheet 42 and the rear leakage-preventing sheet 52 can effectively block the urine of the pet. Moreover, since the width W3 of the front standing portion 47 is larger than the distance D2 between the front standing line 44a and the front edge 3, the following situation can be suppressed: when the pet absorbent article 1A is installed, the portion between the front standing line 44a and the front edge 3 in the main body portion 2 comes into contact with the pet. In addition, since the width W6 of the rear standing portion 57 is larger than the distance D5 between the rear standing line 54a and the rear edge 4, the following situation can be suppressed: when the pet absorbent article 1A is installed, the portion between the rear standing line 54a and the rear edge 4 in the main body portion 2 comes into contact with the pet. Therefore, the situation where the third elastic member 61 disposed between the front standing line 44a and the front edge 3 and the fourth elastic member 62 disposed between the rear standing line 54a and the rear edge 4 come into contact with the pet can be suppressed. As a result, the deterioration of the skin feel of the pet absorbent article 1A can be suppressed.
[0143] Figure 9 is a plan view obtained by observing the pet absorbent article 1B of the second modified example from the skin surface side Z1. In Figure 5 the illustrated embodiment, the inner end edges of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 in the short side direction X extend in parallel with the long side direction Y. However, in the pet absorbent article 1B, the difference from the pet absorbent article 1 is that the inner end edges of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 and the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 are partially inclined or bent.
[0144] As Figure 9 shown, the inner end edge 55b of the first longitudinal fixing portion 55 in the short side direction X is partially inclined or bent so as to be located on the outer side in the short side direction X as it goes toward the rear standing portion 57. The inner end edge 56b of the second longitudinal fixing portion 56 in the short side direction X is partially inclined so as to be located on the outer side in the short side direction X as it goes toward the rear standing portion 57. The inclined portion in the inner end edge 55b corresponds to the standing line 55a, and the inclined portion in the inner end edge 56b corresponds to the standing line 56a. That is, in the pet absorbent article 1B, the standing lines 55a and 56a are inclined with respect to the long side direction Y. In the pet absorbent article 1B, the rear standing portion 57 is more likely to fall down toward the outside of the main body portion 2 along these inclined standing lines 55a and 56a.
[0145] Next, a package 90 for storing a plurality of pet absorbent articles 1 will be described.Figure 10 This is a cross-sectional view of a package 90 showing one embodiment. The package 90 includes a packaging sheet 91 for packaging a plurality of pet absorbent articles 1. In Figure 10 , in a state where the main body portion 2 is folded into three folds along the long side direction Y, the pet absorbent article 1 is packaged in the packaging sheet 91. In addition, the pet absorbent article 1 may be stored in the packaging sheet 91 in a state of being folded into four folds along the long side direction Y. The packaging sheet 91 is made of a synthetic resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyethylene terephthalate, for example.
[0146] Next, with reference to Figure 11 and Figure 12 , the order of folding the pet absorbent article 1 will be described. First, as shown in Figure 11 , the front wing portion 11 is folded inward along the folding line AL extending in the long side direction Y in such a manner that the inner edge 42a in the short side direction X of the front leak prevention sheet 42 is exposed. As shown in Figure 2 , the folding line AL is located on the side of the front edge 3 rather than the middle line between the front edge 3 and the inner edge 42a in the short side direction X. That is, the distance between the front edge 3 and the folding line AL in the short side direction X is shorter than the distance between the inner edge 42a and the folding line AL in the short side direction X. By folding the front wing portion 11 along such a folding line AL, the inner edge 42a of the front leak prevention sheet 42 is exposed. On the other hand, the rear wing portion 12 is not folded inward in the short side direction X.
[0147] Next, as shown in Figure 12 , the main body portion 2 is folded into three folds along the long side direction Y. More specifically, after folding the second end portion 8 inward in the long side direction Y, the first end portion 7 is folded inward in the long side direction Y so as to overlap the second end portion 8. At this time, the engaging portion 70 engages with the target portion 71. The pet absorbent article 1 folded as described above is stored in the package 90.
[0148] As described above, in the package 90, when the folded pet absorbent article 1 is unfolded along the long side direction Y, the inner edge 42a in the short side direction X of the front leak prevention sheet 42 is exposed. Thus, even when the pet absorbent article 1 is installed after unfolding the three folds, the front leak prevention sheet 42 will reliably contact the body of the pet. As a result, urine leakage can be effectively suppressed by the front leak prevention sheet 42. Therefore, even when the pet absorbent article 1 is installed without expanding the front wing portion 11, urine leakage can be suppressed by the front leak prevention sheet 42 because the front leak prevention sheet 42 contacts the body of the pet.
[0149] In addition, in the package 90, the rear side flap portion 12 is not folded inward in the short side direction X. Therefore, when the user takes out the pet absorbent article 1 from the package 90, the user can easily identify the front and rear directions of the pet absorbent article 1. For example, since it is easy to identify where the front side leakage preventing piece 42 is located on the pet absorbent article 1, the pet absorbent article 1 can be easily installed in such a manner that the front side leakage preventing piece 42 is disposed on the head side of the pet.
[0150] As described above, the pet absorbent articles of various embodiments and modification examples have been described. However, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments and modification examples, and various modification modes can be formed within the scope without changing the gist of the invention. That is, it should be noted that the above-described embodiments and modification examples are for illustrative purposes and do not limit the scope of the present invention.
[0151] For example, in each of the above pet absorbent articles 1, 1A, and 1B, the engaging portion 70 is provided on the surface of the surface sheet 10 at the first end portion 7 of the first portion 2A. However, the engaging portion 70 may be provided on the outer surface of the back sheet 20 at the first end portion 7 of the first portion 2A. In this case, the engaging portion 70 directly engages with the surface of the surface sheet 10. In addition, the engaging portion 70 may engage with the surface sheet 10 by means of a target portion provided on the surface sheet 10. The engaging portion 70 may engage with a part of the back sheet 20 located in the second portion 2B. That is, a part of the back sheet 20 located in the first portion 2A and another part of the back sheet 20 located in the second portion 2B may engage.
[0152] Each of the above pet absorbent articles 1, 1A, and 1B may not include the first elastic member 43, the second elastic member 53, the third elastic member 61, and the fourth elastic member 62.
[0153] If the front end edge 3 is defined as the first end edge, the rear end edge 4 is defined as the second end edge, the front side leakage preventing piece 42 is defined as the first leakage preventing piece, and the rear side leakage preventing piece 52 is defined as the second leakage preventing piece, then in each of the above pet absorbent articles 1, 1A, and 1B, when the pet absorbent articles 1, 1A, and 1B are installed on the pet, the first end edge may be disposed on the hind leg side of the pet, and the second end edge may be disposed on the front leg side of the pet. That is, the first leakage preventing piece may be disposed on the hind leg side of the pet, and the second leakage preventing piece may be disposed on the front leg side of the pet. In this case, for example, when the pet absorbent articles 1, 1A, and 1B are installed on an elderly dog, urine leakage from the rear side of the pet can be effectively suppressed. The above-described various embodiments and modification examples can be combined within a range where there is no contradiction.
