An explosion-proof device for cracking rocks due to the expansion of liquid oxygen gas and its usage method

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of blasting devices, and discloses an explosion-proof device and method for using liquid oxygen gas to expand and fracture rocks. The device includes a liquid oxygen storage assembly, a control valve assembly on the side of which is connected to a liquid oxygen fracturing pipe assembly via a delivery assembly. The liquid oxygen fracturing pipe assembly is electrically connected to an initiator. The liquid oxygen storage assembly includes a liquid oxygen storage tank, the bottom of which is rotatably equipped with an insulating wheel. By optimizing key steps such as liquid oxygen storage, delivery, and phase change, the risks associated with electrostatic ignition devices are eliminated, as well as the risks associated with collecting the liquid oxygen in the blast zone after delivery, as in traditional technologies. This eliminates the safety hazards of existing liquid oxygen phase change expansion fracturing technologies and improves blasting effectiveness.
