Multipurpose anti-evasion device for tripod turnstiles

Abstract

This patent application, entitled “Multipurpose Anti-Evasion Device for Tripod Turnstiles,” aims to provide a modular, multipurpose, and multifunctional device that can be easily attached to and removed from the tripod. This is achieved by means of three tubes located on each of the device's ridges. These tubes slide along the outer surfaces of the tripod arms and extend close to the mounting plate, which supports the tripod arms and is attached to the turnstile mechanism's axle. This multipurpose device effectively prevents various methods of fare evasion at tripod turnstiles installed in stations and terminals of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.
