Abstract

A device designed to apply a concentration of negative ions in the surrounding breathing air-oxygen mixture to the entire human body, additionally equipped with colored light sources, designed to apply the ions to the human body in combination with electromagnetic radiation from the light spectrum, wherein the light spectrum has the wavelength range of colored light, the colored light sources are designed to utilize several wavelengths of visible colored light in order to direct the effect of the negative ions specifically to particular metabolic processes, wherein the light spectrum of the colored light sources has a wavelength range of 630 nm to 780 nm and a wavelength range of 420 nm to 480 nm.

[0001] The invention relates to a device for exposing a human body to a concentration of negative ions in the surrounding breathing air-oxygen mixture.

[0002] As is well known, all metabolic processes depend crucially on sufficient oxygen uptake. However, it is not only the quantity of oxygen molecules in the ambient or inhaled air that is crucial, but also the quality of the oxygen – measured by the number of negative ions. Negative ions are present in increased numbers in the open air by the sea or, for example, in some cave baths. In oxygen inhalation therapy or in Professor von Ardenne's multi-step oxygen therapy, the oxygen concentrators are often equipped with additional ionization devices to increase the effect of inhalation on improving metabolism. There are also methods that rely exclusively on a high concentration of negative ions in the breathing air-oxygen mixture, with the exposure taking place either via inhalation masks or hoods or in the form of bag gassing.

Furthermore, either red or blue LEDs are arranged in the vacuum chamber, with the red LEDs having a wavelength range of 630-680 nm and the blue LEDs having a wavelength range of 400 nm to 470 nm.
