Injection molding machine (10) equipped with a heating cylinder (20), the injection molding machine comprising: a screw connection section (48) which is mounted on the heating cylinder and has a screw hole (58); a heating cylinder cover (24) comprising a first cover (32) covering the heating cylinder (20) and the screw connection section (48), and a second cover (34) covering the first cover (32), the first cover (32) having a first opening (36) through which the screw hole (58) is exposed; and a screw element (50) which is covered by the second cover (34) and is screwed through the first opening (36) into the screw hole (58) to connect the heating cylinder (20) and the heating cylinder cover (24) together, wherein the second cover (34) has a second opening (42) through which a tool for handling the screw element (50) can be inserted.
