Abstract
Description
Technical area
[0001] Waste conveying technology State of the art
[0002] novelty Technical problem
[0003] Until now, the garbage (20-30 kg buckets) had to be manually emptied (tipped) onto the flatbed truck above shoulder height. This caused health problems for the garbage collectors (tension in the shoulder, neck, and spine area).
[0004] Furthermore, permanent work above shoulder height is not permitted by the company doctor. Problem solving
[0005] The device can be flexibly mounted on any trailer coupling and the side wall of a flatbed truck.
[0006] The waste container to be emptied must be lifted to a maximum of hip height and emptied into the designated container on the device.
[0007] The tipping mechanism is then raised mechanically with the assistance of gas springs. The waste container moves along rails toward the loading area and empties automatically by gravity when it reaches the stop. Example
[0008] The device consists of a largely square base frame (101 cm wide / 106.4 cm high) made of square aluminum profile tubes (3 cm x 3 cm). This frame is attached to the side of the flatbed using a device (hook). The lower section is equipped with a coupling (the distance between the trailer coupling and the base frame is adjustable), which slides onto the vehicle's trailer coupling and secures with screws.
[0009] A tilting frame (130.5 cm high / 56 cm wide) made of square aluminum profile tubes (3 cm x 3 cm) is attached to the base frame. The two frames are connected at the top with metal hinges. A metal guide rail (100 cm long each) is mounted on the left and right sides of the tilting frame, onto which a metal container is attached. This container moves toward the loading area when tipped.
[0010] Handles are attached to the left and right of the tipping frame with which the tipping process can be carried out.
[0011] The stainless metal waste container (width 80 cm / depth 50 cm / height 50 cm) is movably connected to the guide rails by means of sliding carriages.
[0012] After the waste has been filled into the container, the upper frame is lifted manually, with the lifting process being assisted by the two gas springs located to the left and right of the frame.
[0013] The two gas pressure springs are attached to longitudinal struts in the base frame (aluminium profile tubes, 100 cm) and to the sides of the tilting frame, thus supporting the tilting process.
[0014] At the end of the tipping process, the waste is emptied from the container onto the loading area of the flatbed.
[0015] After the emptying process, the tilting frame is manually returned to its home position and cushioned at the stop by two rubber buffers (depth 3 cm / diameter 5 cm). Claims
[1] Mechanical device for lifting and tipping waste containers, which has the use of a trailer coupling of a flatbed truck, characterized by that the construction is equipped in such a way that the mechanism can be operated via guide rails (5) with little physical effort and that the latter is high enough for the container (12) to empty itself automatically onto the loading area (16) via the side wall of the platform (17), as well as the possibility of returning the container (12) to its starting position. [2] Device according to claim 1, characterized by that the base frame (1) has a tilting frame (2) with handle(s) (11) in order to operate the construction effortlessly, supported by hinges (7). [3] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized bythat the device is plugged and screwed onto the trailer coupling (15) by means of a coupling adapter (3) which is attached to a length-adjustable connecting link (14) after the height-adjustable and thus adaptable handles (8) have been attached to the side wall (17) and can thus be mounted and dismounted without permanent modification to the vehicle. [4] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the tilting frame (2) is moved upwards by means of gas pressure springs (4) which are held by the longitudinal struts (9). [5] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that the container (12) slides on guide rails (5) to prevent accidental tipping or falling of the container (12) and / or the contents. [6] Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized bythat the container (12) is attached to sliding carriages (6) so that after actuation of the mechanism it slides on guide rails (5), is emptied at the end by stops (10) and is dampened by rubber buffers (13) after returning to the starting position.
