Abstract
Description
Field of the invention
[0001] The invention relates to a packaging unit for disposable gloves, which are available in several types, each of which differs by at least one property. Background of the invention
[0002] Disposable gloves are well known, for example, as examination gloves or as gloves for use in food distribution and the like. Disposable gloves are usually sold in packaging that allows for removal of the disposable gloves via a dispensing opening. Such packaging is known, for example, from US 2003 / 0230591 A1. If a user, for example, a medical facility such as a hospital, a kitchen, or a cleaning company, uses different types of disposable gloves, a correspondingly large number of packages is necessary, since only one disposable glove (the one closest to the dispensing opening) can be removed from the known packages.Different types of disposable gloves can differ, for example, in terms of the material they are made of or in terms of their size, which can be different for each member of a team. It is also possible that disposable gloves of different colors are used to distinguish one team function (e.g., assistant) from another (e.g., doctor). Such circumstances can also lead to different people wanting to wear disposable gloves of different colors. Summary of the invention
[0003] An object of the invention is therefore to propose a packaging unit for disposable gloves which contains disposable gloves of different types and which provides access to more than one type of disposable glove.
[0004] The object is achieved by a packaging unit for disposable gloves, comprising a packaging and a plurality of disposable gloves accommodated in the packaging, wherein the packaging has at least one removal opening for disposable gloves, wherein the disposable gloves here comprise disposable gloves of a first type and disposable gloves of at least a second type, wherein the disposable gloves of the first type and the disposable gloves of the second type differ in one property, wherein the removal opening allows access to at least two types of disposable gloves.
[0005] The packaging unit thus allows access to different types of disposable gloves. A property is understood to be a property that is, for example, physically detectable and / or inherent in the material from which the disposable gloves are made. An example of a property is the color of the disposable glove. The packaging unit can therefore preferably comprise disposable gloves of different colors. This enables the removal of disposable gloves of different colors through the removal opening. These are preferably sorted by color in individual layers in the packaging unit, so that disposable gloves of different colors can be accessed specifically through the removal opening by removing a disposable glove from a specific layer.
[0006] Another example of different properties lies in the material from which the disposable gloves are made. For example, disposable gloves made of a latex-based material and latex-free disposable gloves can be offered together in one packaging unit, giving the user the choice of selecting disposable gloves of a specific material. These can also be combined, so that, for example, disposable gloves of a specific material have a specific color.
[0007] Another characteristic that can differentiate disposable gloves is the size, which is also preferably color-coded. This allows the user to identify a specific size of disposable glove by its color and select the appropriate size.
[0008] The packaging preferably comprises a folding box, preferably made of cardboard. A cardboard material is understood to be a material comprising cellulose, groundwood, and optionally recycled paper. This allows the packaging to be easily manufactured. The folding box can, in particular, be printed or coated on the outside. Preferably, the at least one removal opening can be designed as a perforation for removing part of the folding box and / or as a pivotably molded closure.
[0009] The packaging preferably comprises a first removal opening and a second removal opening. This advantageously makes it possible to access several, preferably all, types of disposable gloves at least via one of the removal openings and preferably to access one of the types of disposable gloves via the other removal opening. The disposable gloves are preferably accommodated in the packaging in such a way that at least one of the removal openings allows access to all types of disposable gloves. If the disposable gloves are accommodated in layers of different types of disposable gloves in the packaging, for example sorted by color, one of the removal openings is preferably positioned and dimensioned such that lateral access to the disposable gloves is possible, i.e. when filled, the gloves are aligned with one edge towards the respective removal opening.
[0010] The packaging preferably has a top side and an opposite bottom side and side surfaces connecting them, wherein the first removal opening is formed in the top side and the second removal opening is formed in a side surface. The packaging is preferably cuboid-shaped, wherein the top side and bottom side represent two parallel, preferably the largest, surfaces of the cuboid. If, for example, the disposable gloves are accommodated in the packaging in layers of different types of disposable gloves aligned parallel to the top side, access to and removal of disposable gloves of the type is possible through the first removal opening, the second removal opening allows access to several, preferably all, types of disposable gloves, since their edges are aligned with the second disposable opening but are flat in relation to the first removal opening.
[0011] Preferably, the disposable gloves are accommodated in layers within the packaging, with each layer containing disposable gloves of a single type, and one of the first and second removal openings allowing access to at least two layers. This is easily achieved if one of the removal openings is aligned with the edges of the disposable gloves, allowing individual disposable gloves to be removed from each layer.
[0012] Preferably, the interior space formed by the packaging is divided into a first compartment and at least one second compartment, with disposable gloves of the first type being accommodated in the first compartment and disposable gloves of the second type being accommodated in at least one second compartment. This allows disposable gloves of both types to be removed easily. For this purpose, the removal opening preferably allows access to all compartments. In this context, it is preferred that the packaging has a one-piece, molded closure that is pivotable, thus making the entire removal opening available for access to all types of disposable gloves.
[0013] Preferably, the compartments are separated by an insert that is placed into the packaging. The insert is preferably made of cardboard. Using an insert, it is easy and cost-effective to create two compartments in, for example, a cuboid-shaped package. A cuboid-shaped package is understood to form a cuboid when closed. The sides with the largest surface area are referred to as the top and bottom. These are opposite each other and aligned parallel to each other. The top and bottom are connected by side surfaces to form the cuboid.
[0014] Preferably, the property by which the types of disposable gloves differ includes at least one of the following properties: a. a color; b. a material from which the disposable gloves are made; and c. a size.
[0015] The provision of different types of disposable gloves in the packaging, which differ in their color, makes it possible to provide disposable gloves of different colors in one package and then specifically remove disposable gloves of a certain color through the removal opening. Alternatively or additionally, it is possible to provide disposable gloves made of different materials, for example made of latex-containing material on the one hand and latex-free material on the other, in one package, with the removal opening allowing access to both the disposable gloves made of latex-free and the latex-containing material. Alternatively or additionally, disposable gloves of different sizes, for example size S, size M, size L and / or size XL, can be provided in a single package, with the removal opening allowing access to at least two sizes of disposable gloves, preferably to all of the intended sizes of disposable gloves.
[0016] Providing disposable gloves of different colors can satisfy different aesthetic requirements, but it is also possible to use different colors to distinguish, for example, different user groups, different areas of application, etc. When preparing, filling, or packaging food, for example, the person packing, preparing, or filling vegetables could wear disposable gloves of a first color (e.g., green), while the person preparing or filling a main meal containing meat could wear disposable gloves of a second color (e.g., blue). This way, even if the people are wearing face masks and uniform work clothing, it is immediately clear what function a person is performing.A similar approach is also advantageous in other areas where teams work on a specific task, such as the medical or technical sectors. This makes it possible, for example, to photographically document a team's work by identifying the different colors of disposable gloves and precisely documenting each glove wearer's contribution to a project.
[0017] It is also possible to combine several of the above-mentioned properties, so that, for example, disposable gloves of a certain size or made of a certain material always have a clearly identifiable first color, while disposable gloves of a different size or made of a different material always have a different, clearly identifiable second color. This facilitates immediate access to disposable gloves of the desired size or disposable gloves made of a specific material.
[0018] Preferably, at least one dispensing opening is defined by a perforation in the packaging. This enables the simple production of packaging with one or more predefined dispensing openings, allowing the user to decide whether and, if so, which of the dispensing openings they wish to open and use. At the same time, it is easily visible if a packaging unit has not yet been opened if the perforated dispensing openings are still appropriately closed. Such perforated dispensing openings can be easily created during packaging production by punching them out of a cardboard material.
[0019] Preferably, a removal opening can be opened and closed by a pivoting closure integrally formed on the packaging. This allows the packaging unit to be reclosed. A tab, which is preferably provided on the closure, can be used to secure the closure by inserting the tab into a recess.
[0020] A packaging unit with a corresponding pivoting closure can advantageously be combined with perforated dispensing openings. These can be formed independently of the closure in the packaging and / or provided in the closure. In the latter case, the dispensing opening can be fully opened by opening the closure, thus allowing access to, for example, several types of disposable gloves stored in individual compartments of the packaging, or it is possible to access individual compartments via the dispensing openings provided by perforations in the closure when the closure is closed. This makes the use of the packaging unit variably adaptable to the needs of the user.
[0021] A method for using a packaging unit for disposable gloves, wherein the packaging unit comprises a package for accommodating a plurality of disposable gloves of a first type and at least one further second type, wherein the disposable gloves of the first type and the at least further second type differ in one property, wherein the disposable gloves are accommodated in layers in the packaging, wherein each layer comprises a plurality of disposable gloves and each layer comprises disposable gloves of exactly one type, wherein a bottom layer of disposable gloves of one type is inserted into the packaging and rests on an underside of the packaging, wherein at least one further layer of disposable gloves of a different type is inserted, wherein each of these further layers rests on the respective underlying layer of disposable gloves, can comprise the following steps: - Removing the disposable gloves from the top layer through a first removal opening for disposable gloves on the top side of the packaging, - separately removing at least the disposable gloves from one of the layers below the top layer of disposable gloves through a second disposable glove removal opening on a side surface of the packaging, wherein the side surface is one of the side surfaces connecting the top side of the packaging to an opposite bottom side of the packaging.
[0022] This allows the removal of one type of disposable gloves from the top layer through the first removal opening, and the removal of at least two types, preferably all types, of disposable gloves from the corresponding layers through the second removal opening. This method is particularly used with the Fig. 1 is used. The explanations and advantages given above for the corresponding design of the packaging unit with two removal openings can be transferred and applied to the method described here.
[0023] A method for using a packaging unit for disposable gloves comprising a package for accommodating a plurality of disposable gloves of a first type and at least one further second type, wherein the disposable gloves of the first type and the at least further second type differ in one property, wherein the packaging comprises at least two compartments, in particular a first compartment and at least one second compartment, which are separated by an insert inserted into the packaging, wherein disposable gloves of the first type are inserted into a first compartment and disposable gloves of the second type are inserted into a second compartment, can comprise the following steps: - removing the disposable gloves from one of the compartments through a removal opening which is shaped in such a way that it allows access either to only one of the compartments or to several compartments simultaneously, wherein the removal opening is arranged on an upper side or on a side surface of the packaging, wherein the side surface is one of the side surfaces which connect the upper side of the packaging to an opposite lower side of the packaging.
[0024] This procedure is particularly used with the Fig. 2 to 6. The above explanations and advantages for the corresponding embodiments of the packaging unit with at least two compartments can be transferred and applied to the method described here.
[0025] In the present invention, the term "a," "an," or "an" does not refer to a specific number of the respective components designated thereby, but explicitly includes the possibility that the claimed subject matter may comprise one or more additional components in addition to the one component. Thus, the term should also be understood as "one or more." However, if the number of specified components is equal to 1, this is referred to as "exactly one."
[0026] The embodiments described above can be combined with one another as desired by a person skilled in the art within the scope of the teaching of the invention, even deviating from the claims. Detailed description of the drawings
[0027] The embodiments shown here are merely examples of the present invention and should therefore not be considered limiting. Alternative embodiments contemplated by those skilled in the art are equally encompassed within the scope of the present invention.
[0028] Fig. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a first embodiment of a packaging unit 2, which comprises a package 4 and a plurality of disposable gloves 6 accommodated therein, which are only schematically indicated by lines. In the present example, the package 4 is cuboid-shaped and designed as a folding box, preferably made of cardboard. The package 4 has a top side 8 and a bottom side 10, which are aligned parallel to one another and are connected to one another by side surfaces 12.
[0029] The disposable gloves 6 comprise disposable gloves 6 of different types. In the present example, the packaging 4 contains disposable gloves 14 of a first type, disposable gloves 16 of a second type, and disposable gloves 18 of a third type. Disposable gloves 14, 16, 18 of a specific type are grouped into layers. For the sake of clarity, not all disposable gloves 6, 14, 16, 18 are provided with reference symbols. The disposable gloves 14 of the first type form a first layer 20 and are shown as dotted lines. The disposable gloves 16 of the second type form a second layer 22 and are shown as dashed lines. The disposable gloves 18 of the third type form a third layer 24 and are shown as dash-dotted lines.
[0030] The disposable gloves 14, 16, 18 of the individual types each differ with regard to a property, for example the color, the size and / or the material from which the disposable gloves 14, 16, 18 are made. For example, the disposable gloves 14 of the first type can have a first color, for example yellow, the disposable gloves 16 of the second type can have a second color, for example red, and the disposable gloves 18 of the third type can have a third color, for example blue. Alternatively or additionally, the disposable gloves 14 of the first type can have a first size, for example S, the disposable gloves 16 of the second type can have a second size, for example M, and the disposable gloves 18 of the third type can have a third size, for example L. The combination of both properties allows, for example, the direct selection of the correct size of the disposable gloves 14, 16, 18 by choosing the appropriate color.Another preferred possibility, for example, is to be able to offer disposable gloves 6 made of different materials, for example, comprising latex or latex-free, in a single packaging unit 2. This is particularly advantageous for buyers who work in teams or in different situations and for whom space can thus be advantageously saved, in that in the present example, instead of three packaging units for three types of disposable gloves, only one packaging unit 2 is provided for three types of disposable gloves 14, 16, 18.
[0031] The packaging 4 of the packaging unit 2 according to the first exemplary embodiment has two removal openings 26, which are provided as perforations in the folding box and which can be easily opened by a user. A first removal opening 28 is provided in the top side 8 of the packaging 4 and allows access to the respective uppermost layer 20, 22, 24 of the disposable gloves 6, in the present example to the first layer 20 of the disposable gloves 14 of the first type. In order to allow access to several, preferably all, layers 20, 22, 24 of the disposable gloves 14, 16, 18, a second removal opening 30 is provided in a side surface 12. This allows the user to remove an individual glove 14, 16, 18 of any type by accessing through the second removal opening 30 and an individual glove 14 of the first type through the first removal opening 28.
[0032] The second embodiment of a packaging unit 2 is shown in the Fig. 2 to 5, which are described together below unless explicit reference is made to one of the figures. The differences from the first embodiment of a packaging unit 2 are described. Furthermore, to avoid repetition, reference is made to the above description of the first embodiment.
[0033] Fig. Figure 2 shows a schematic perspective view of the second embodiment of a packaging 4 of a packaging unit 2, wherein the disposable gloves contained therein are not in Fig. 2. The packaging 2 consists of a folding box having a removal opening 26, which can be opened and closed by a closure 32 formed integrally on one side of the removal opening 26, pivotable about a pivot axis 36, and formed as a single piece. Fig. 2, the closure 32 is open, i.e., pivoted away from the removal opening 26. The closure 32 has a tab 34 that can be inserted into the side of the removal opening 26 opposite a pivot axis 36 in order to close it with the closure 32. In the closed state, the closure 32 forms the top side 8 of the packaging 4, while in the open state of the packaging 4, the top side 8 is open and freely accessible and forms the removal opening 26.
[0034] The packaging 4 forms an interior space 5 into which an insert 38 is inserted. This insert is preferably made from a piece of cardboard material in which a rectangular piece of cardboard 40 is folded along two fold lines 42 at 90 degrees each (cf. Fig. 3), so that in plan view the Fig. 4 shown shape of the insert 38. The distance 44 defines in the folded state ( Fig. 4) the extension of a central part 46 of the insert 38 (see Fig. 4). Two side parts 47 protrude from the central part 46 due to the folding along the fold lines 42.
[0035] Fig. 5 shows a plan view of the opened packaging 4, whereby the closure is not shown for the sake of clarity. The cross-section of the packaging 4 is rectangular in this example. The insert 38 divides the packaging 4 into a first compartment 48 and a second compartment 50, which are separated from one another by the central part 46 of the insert 38. The side parts 47 of the insert 38 rest on the inside against two opposite side surfaces 12 of the packaging 4. The distance 44 of the insert 38 is selected such that it corresponds to an inner extension 52 of the packaging 44, so that the side parts 47 can rest on the inside of the opposite side surfaces 12 and the central part 46 is aligned at right angles to the side surfaces 12.
[0036] The first compartment 48 accommodates disposable gloves 14 of the first type, while the second compartment 50 accommodates disposable gloves 16 of the second type. In the present exemplary embodiment, the disposable gloves 14, 16 are accommodated in the compartments 48, 50 in such a way that they are oriented vertically, so that the edges of the disposable gloves 14, 16 are visible through the removal opening 26. However, it is also possible and preferred to align the disposable gloves 14, 16 parallel to the removal opening 26.
[0037] Through the two compartments 48, 50, a user can optionally remove a disposable glove 14 of the first type or a disposable glove 16 of the second type through the removal opening 26, since the removal opening 26 allows access to both types of disposable gloves 14, 16. By using two or more inserts 38, it is possible to create more than two compartments 48, 50 and thus accommodate three or more types of disposable gloves 6 in the packaging 4, whereby all types of disposable gloves 14, 16 are accessible and removable through the removal opening 26.
[0038] Fig. Figure 6 shows a perspective view of a third embodiment of a packaging unit 2 for disposable gloves, which are not shown in this view. The third embodiment has similarities to the second embodiment. To avoid repetition, reference is made to the above description of the second embodiment; only the differences from the second embodiment are explained here.
[0039] The closure 32 has a first removal opening 28 and a second removal opening 30 defined by perforations. If these removal openings 28, 30 are opened by removing the areas defined by the perforations, the first removal opening 28 allows access to the first compartment 48 containing the disposable gloves of the first type (not shown here), and the second removal opening 30 allows access to the second compartment 50 containing the disposable gloves of the second type (not shown here) when the closure 32 is closed.
[0040] Fig. Figure 7 shows a first blank 52 formed by punching from a material comprising cardboard. The first blank 52 is used to produce a packaging of a packaging unit according to the first embodiment as a folding box (see Figure 1). Fig. 1). The first blank 52 is folded along fold lines 54 to form the package, whereby corresponding flaps 56, 57 are inserted into recesses 58 and into recesses (not shown) formed by the folding. Perforations 60 are used to Fig. 1 shown removal openings 26, 28, 30. Fig. 7 further shows with the reference numerals 8, 10, 12 which surfaces of the first blank 52 after folding are the top side 8, the bottom side 10 and the side surfaces 12 (cf. Fig. 1 and description above).
[0041] Fig. Figure 8 shows a second blank 62, which is formed by punching from a material comprising cardboard. The second blank 62 is used to produce a packaging of a packaging unit similar to the third embodiment as a folding box (see Figure 1). Fig. 6). As for the first blank 52 in connection with Fig. As described in Figure 7, the second blank 62 also has fold lines 54, tabs 56, and recesses 68. The second blank 62 further has an integrally formed closure 32 that can be pivoted about a pivot axis 36. Perforations 60 are formed in the closure 32, which form the removal openings 28, 30 (see Figure 7). Fig. 6) define. Fig. 8 further shows with the reference numerals 8, 10, 12 which surfaces of the second blank 62 after folding are the top side 8, the bottom side 10 and the side surfaces 12 (cf. Fig. 6 and description above).
[0042] Fig. Figure 9 shows two possible methods for using a packaging unit 2 according to the present invention. Fig. 9a) a first method 100 for using the packaging unit for disposable gloves, as well as the process steps required for filling the packaging unit 2. This first method 100 is particularly compatible with the method shown in Fig. 1 shown embodiment of a packaging unit 2. In the, for example, from a first blank 52 (cf. Fig. 7) manufactured packaging 4 (cf. Fig. 1) First, the disposable gloves 6, 14, 16, 18 of one type are inserted 110 as the lowest layer 24. Subsequently, disposable gloves 6, 14, 16, 18 of a different type and, if applicable, disposable gloves of other types are inserted 120 at least once as respective further layers 22, 20 of disposable gloves 6, 14, 16, 18 onto the respective preceding layer 24, 22 of disposable gloves 6, 14, 15, 18.
[0043] If you look at the Fig. 1, a layer of disposable gloves 18 of a third type is first inserted into the packaging 4 as the bottom (third) layer 24, so that the bottom layer 24 rests on the underside 10 of the packaging 4. Subsequently, a second layer 22 of disposable gloves 6, 16 of a second type is placed on the bottom layer 24. Subsequently, the first layer 20, which represents the top layer, is placed on the second layer 22 of disposable gloves. The first method 100 according to the invention for using the packaging unit 2, in particular according to Fig. 1, allows the user to optionally remove 130 the disposable gloves 6, 14 from the uppermost layer 20 through a first removal opening 28 and to separately remove 140 at least the disposable gloves 6, 16, 18 from one of the layers 22, 24 below the uppermost layer 20 of disposable gloves 6, 14 through a second removal opening 30 (cf. Fig. 1).
[0044] Fig. 9b) shows a second method 200 for using the packaging unit 2 for disposable gloves 6, 14, 16, 18, in particular from a packaging unit 2 as in Fig. 2 to 6. This packaging unit 2 has a first compartment 48 and a second compartment 50, which are separated from each other by an insert 38. Fig. 9b) also shows the filling of the packaging unit 2 with the disposable gloves 6, 14, 16, 18, wherein an insertion 210 of the disposable gloves 6, 14 of the first type into a first of the compartments, here the first compartment 48, and an insertion 220 of the disposable gloves 6, 16 of at least a second type into at least a second of the compartments, here the second compartment 50, takes place. According to the present method, the disposable gloves 6 are then removed 230 from one of the compartments 48, 50 through a removal opening 26 which is shaped in such a way that it allows access either only to one of the compartments 48, 50 or simultaneously to several compartments 48, 50, wherein the removal opening 26 is arranged on an upper side 8 or on a side surface 12 of the packaging 4, wherein the side surface 12 is one of the side surfaces 12 which connect the upper side 8 of the packaging 4 with an opposite underside 10 of the packaging 4 (cf. also Fig. 2 to 6).
[0045] The invention relates to a packaging unit 2 for disposable gloves 6, 14, 16, 18 of different types, which differ, for example, in terms of their color, and allows access to disposable gloves 14, 16, 18 of different types via a removal opening 26, 30. The packaging units 2 according to the invention allow simultaneous access to different types of disposable gloves 14, 16, 18 in a common package 4, for example via a second removal opening 26, 28 arranged on a side surface 12 or via a removal opening that allows simultaneous access to two or more compartments with disposable gloves.
