Abstract
Description
Rechargeable cosmetic product conditioning and application device technical field
[0001] This disclosure falls within the domain of refillable cosmetic product packaging and application devices. Previous technique
[0002] In the cosmetics industry, in particular, users are especially sensitive to the aesthetics of packaging and application devices. However, the cost of aesthetically pleasing packaging and application devices is high, thus increasing the price of cosmetic products sold in this form.
[0003] An idea emerged to provide an aesthetically pleasing packaging and application device, including a separate refill, possibly less aesthetically pleasing, but with lower packaging costs. Preferably, the refill is removable so that the packaging and application device can be refilled by replacing the removable refill.
[0004] The packaging and application device may include a casing consisting of a base and a cap, the casing being at least partially made of metal. Such a casing is particularly appreciated by users, especially from an aesthetic point of view. Furthermore, such a refillable device can have an improved environmental footprint because only the refill is discarded when the cosmetic product is depleted.
[0005] In this case, however, securing the charging station in the hood may pose problems.
[0006] Indeed, the refill is advantageously secured in the casing by an elastic snap. However, in this case, it is difficult to create an elastic snap that is both robust enough to hold the refill securely in the casing and easily detachable to allow for refill removal and replacement. Summary
[0007] This disclosure improves the situation.
[0008] This disclosure proposes a device for packaging and applying at least one cosmetic product, comprising: - a housing defining a compartment, the housing having at least one first elastic interlocking relief; and - a cosmetic product refill intended to be received at least partially in the housing defined by the case, the refill having a second elastic interlocking relief; in which one of the at least one first elastic interlocking relief and the at least one second elastic interlocking relief is made of metal and includes at least one clipping tab extending between at least two non-through slots longitudinally.
[0009] Advantageously, it is possible to create a cosmetic product packaging and application device that incorporates at least one elastic metal insert to secure a refill in a container. An insert such as this ensures both a secure and lasting hold of the refill in the container and easy removal, minimizing the risk of damage to both the refill and the container.
[0010] According to preferred embodiments, the cosmetic product conditioning and application device may have one or more of the following characteristics, taken alone or in combination: - the clip tab and the two longitudinally non-through slots are on a cylindrical surface of a metal socket; - the clip tab has a raised relief; - the raised relief extends across the entire width of the tongue; - the other, among the at least one first elastic interlocking relief and the at least one second elastic interlocking relief, comprises one of the following: -- a groove, in particular a groove to receive the protruding relief of the clipping tab, if applicable, -- a rib, and -- at least one spur, preferably a plurality of spurs; -the casing extends mainly along an axis, the two slots being parallel to the axis, the protruding relief extending in a direction perpendicular to the axis where applicable; - the housing includes a casing receiving a metal socket, the clipping tab and the two longitudinally non-through slots being on the metal socket; - the case includes a base; - the base includes a casing receiving a metal socket, the clipping tab and the two longitudinally non-through slots being on the metal socket in the base; - the cosmetic product conditioning and application device further includes a cap to close the base, the cap preferably being detachably fixed to the casing, for example by magnetism, elastic snap-fit or screwing; - the hood includes a casing receiving a metal sleeve, the metal sleeve forming a clipping tab and two non-through slots longitudinally being on the metal sleeve in the hood, to fix the refill in the hood; - the refill includes a socket forming a clip tab extending between two longitudinally non-through slots, to fix the refill to the base of the case or to the cover, as appropriate; - the conditioning and application device includes an applicator device, preferably included in the refill; - the applicator device includes a means of distributing cosmetic product, in particular a pipette or a pump; - the distribution means is a lipstick mechanism receiving a lipstick bullet; - the lipstick mechanism includes a first gear adapted to be driven in rotation by a second gear attached to the base of the case to move the lipstick bullet in the lipstick mechanism, between at least one first storage position, and at least a second position for applying lipstick; - the first mesh relief is formed by a recessed imprint on a front surface of a base of the lipstick mechanism, free to rotate relative to a lipstick chimney; - the cosmetic product refill includes a cosmetic product reservoir; - the cosmetic product refill includes a cap, attached to an applicator element of the cosmetic product, the cap preferably being adapted to be fixed on the reservoir to close the reservoir, the applicator element preferably still being in the reservoir when the cap closes the reservoir; - the cover is fixed onto the cap, preferably in a detachable manner; - the cap is elastically fitted onto a metal sleeve fixed to the cap, the metal sleeve having at least one elastic fitting relief comprising a clipping tab extending between two longitudinally non-through slots; and - the applicator element is one of the following: a brush, a plastic tip, possibly flocked, a paintbrush. [0022] In the following description, identical elements or elements with identical functions are designated by the same reference symbol. For the sake of brevity, elements that are identical in multiple examples are not described in detail within the detailed description of each individual example. Instead, the description below focuses primarily on the differences between the various examples.
[0023] Figure 1 schematically represents, in perspective, a first example of a cosmetic product packaging and application device. In this first example, the cosmetic product is in the form of a stick. The cosmetic product could be, in particular, a lipstick, a skin or lip care product, especially a lip balm, or a sunscreen for the lips or skin.
[0024] As illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the conditioning and application device 10 essentially comprises a housing 12 and a refill 14. The housing 12, in this case, consists of a base 15 and a cover 16. As illustrated, the conditioning and application device 10, particularly the housing 12, is generally cylindrical in shape, extending mainly along the direction of an axis A10 of extension of the conditioning and application device 10. Here, the conditioning and application device 10 is generally cylindrical with an elliptical cross-section. Of course, other general shapes of the device Packaging and application devices 10 are conceivable. In particular, the packaging and application device 10 can be generally cylindrical in shape, with a circular or polygonal cross-section.
[0025] The base 15 of the housing 12 is shown in cross-section in Figure 3. The base 15 of the housing 12 includes first of all a cylindrical cover shell 18, extending mainly along the direction of an axis A15 of extension of the base 15 of the housing 12, corresponding here to the axis A10 in the conditioning and application device 10. Here the cover shell 18 has an elliptical cross-section.The casing 18 can be made of any material conceivable by a person skilled in the art for forming a casing for a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product 10 in stick form, in particular one of the following: glass, metal, in particular aluminium or an aluminium alloy, in particular zamak, ceramic, porcelain, crystal and plastic, in particular polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate, ionomer resin such as ethylene vinyl copolymer known under the trade name Surlyn®, wood and urea formaldehyde.
[0026] On its radially internal surface, the housing shell 18 has a rib 20. Here, the rib 20 is straight, parallel to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. The rib 20 extends here over only a part of the height of the housing shell 18, oriented along the direction of the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. For example, the rib 20 extends over at least two-thirds of the height of the housing shell 18, preferably over at least three-quarters of the height of the housing shell 18.
[0027] The base 15 of the housing 12 also includes, as illustrated, a capsule 22 fixed to one end of the casing 18. The capsule 22 thus closes off one longitudinal end of the cylindrical casing 18. The capsule 22 may have, as illustrated, a base 24 intended to form a longitudinal end of the conditioning and application device 10. One face of the base 24 of the capsule 22 is oriented towards the outside of the casing 18. can then bear inscriptions or decorations, formed directly on the base 24 or applied to this base 24 of the capsule 22.
[0028] The capsule 22 also includes a crown 26, projecting from the base 24. The crown 26 is generally cylindrical in shape, with its axis aligned with the axis A15 of the base 15 of the case 12, and an elliptical cross-section, substantially complementary to the internal cross-section of the case shell 18. The crown 24 can thus be tightly fitted into the case shell 18. The crown 24 has indentations 28 on its radially external surface, one of which receives a portion of the rib 20 of the case shell 18. The reception of a portion of the rib 20 in a particular indentation 28 can serve as a keying feature, to fix the capsule 22 with a specific orientation relative to the case shell 18. Here, the crown 26 also has indentations 30 on its radially internal surface. The indentations 30 on the radially internal surface of the crown 26 are angularly offset relative to the indentations 28 on the radially external surface of the crown 26, such that, angularly, each indentation 30 on the radially internal face is always between two indentations 28 on the radially external face, and each indentation 28 on the radially external face is always between two indentations 30 on the radially internal face. This configuration makes it possible to obtain a lighter capsule 22 that is easier to mold, by limiting the thickness of the crown 26.
[0029] Alternatively, capsule 22 may have come from material with the 18 dressing shell.
[0030] The base 15 of the housing 12 also includes an insert 32 received in the cover shell 18. The insert 32 therefore has a general shape substantially complementary to the shape of the cover shell 18. In particular, in the illustrated example, the insert 32 has a cylindrical portion 34 complementary to the cross-section of the cover shell 18. Grooves 36 are on the radially external surface of the cylindrical portion 34. The grooves 36 are substantially straight, parallel to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. One of the grooves 36 receives the rib 20 on the radially internal surface of the cover shell 18. Here again, the reception of part of the rib 20 in a particular groove 36 can have a function of error-proofing as to the orientation of the insert 32 in relation to the cladding shell 18.
[0031] Alternatively, receiving part of the rib 20 in a groove 36 prevents the relative rotation of these two parts around the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. In this case, however, it is preferred that several ribs 20 be at least partially received each in a respective groove 36.
[0032] Furthermore, the insert 32 here forms two tabs 38, projecting in the direction of the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12, relative to the cylindrical portion 34, and extending in line with the outer surface of the cylindrical portion 34. The insert 32, in particular the cylindrical portion 34, however forms a rim 35 at the base of the tabs 38. A lug 37 is projecting from the rim 35, in the direction of the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12.
[0033] The insert 32 further forms a meshing relief 40. This meshing relief 40 is presented here as a relief with an external cylindrical shape, its axis aligned with the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. Here, the meshing relief 40 has a five-pointed star-shaped cross-section. Of course, other forms of the meshing relief are accessible to those skilled in the art. In particular, the meshing relief 40 can, in principle, take any cylindrical shape with a non-circular cross-section, especially a polygonal one.
[0034] The base 15 of the housing 12 also includes, as illustrated, a magnet 42. The magnet 42 is, for example, received in contact with the rim 35 of the insert 32, between the two tabs 38 of the insert 32. The magnet 42 also includes, in the illustrated example, a notch 44 receiving the lug 37 of the insert 32. Thus, the orientation of the magnet 42 relative to the insert 32, and therefore relative to the base 15 of the housing 12, is ensured, since the orientation of the insert 32 is ensured by the keying formed by the reception of the rib 20 in the groove 36. This is particularly advantageous when the magnet 42 is a quadrupole magnet.
[0035] The base 15 of the housing 12 ultimately incorporates a socket 46. The socket 46 is metallic, for example, made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy such as zamak. The socket 46 comprises a cylindrical portion 48, with a circular cross-section, a A first annular portion 50, projecting radially outwards from the cylindrical portion 48, is located at one end of the cylindrical portion 48. A second annular portion 52, projecting radially inwards from the cylindrical portion 48, is located at the second end of the cylindrical portion 48. The second annular portion 52 defines a central opening through which extends a cylindrical base 41, with a circular cross-section, of the engagement relief 40 of the insert 32. The first annular portion 50, together with the housing 18, the insert 32, in particular the cylindrical portion 34 of the insert 32, and the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46, defines a housing for receiving the magnet 42.
[0036] Furthermore, as can be seen more clearly in Figure 7, the cylindrical portion 48 of the socket 46 forms two elastic interlocking reliefs 54 (or clip reliefs). Here, the two elastic interlocking reliefs 54 are symmetrical with respect to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. Each elastic interlocking relief 54 has, as illustrated, a clip tab 56 extending between two slots 58.
[0037] The slots 58 are all identical here. By slot, we mean here an opening, passing through the wall of the cylindrical portion 48 of the socket 46 in a radial direction with respect to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. Thus, each slot 58 passes through the thickness of the socket 46, in particular the cylindrical portion of the socket 46, in which it is formed. Each slot 58 can be made by removing material from the sleeve 46. Alternatively, however, each slot 58 can be made by cutting the sleeve 46, in particular the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46, substantially without removing any material from the sleeve 46. In all cases, each slot 58 separates here, in an orthoradial direction, two edges of material of the sleeve 46, in particular the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46. Each slot 58 extends longitudinally, parallel to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. Each slot 58 is thus straight in the illustrated example.
[0038] As can be seen in Figure 7, each slot 58 is blind, in that each slot 58 extends between two longitudinal ends formed in the sleeve 46, in particular in the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46. The slots 58 make the sleeve 46 considerably more flexible, in particular the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46 between two adjacent slots 58, where the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46 forms a clipping tab 56.
[0039] Each clip tab 56 has a raised ridge 60 projecting radially inwards. Thus, each ridge 60 is projecting relative to the rest of the clip tab 56 from which it originates. Here, the projecting ridge 60 is formed by a boss on the clip tab 56. Such a boss is created by deforming the clip tab 56. Thus, the clip tab 56 does not have any significant increase in thickness at the level of the projecting ridge 60. Here, the boss 60 is substantially orthoradial, in that the entire portion extending between the two adjacent slots 58 is convex, substantially in the form of an angular sector of a cylinder. Alternatively, however, the projecting ridge 60 may be formed by a ridge or by any other shape accessible to those skilled in the art.
[0040] As illustrated in Figure 7, each tab 56 is formed from material, at each of its ends, with the rest of the sleeve 46, in particular with the cylindrical envelope of the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46. Each tab 56 is separated from the rest of the sleeve 46, along the lateral sides of the tab 56, extending parallel to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12, by the slots 58 which each extend along one lateral side of the tab 56.
[0041] Each tab 56 can extend, with the exception of the protruding relief 60, if present, in line with the cylindrical envelope of the cylindrical portion 48 of the socket 46. In this case, only the protruding relief 60 is not included in the line with the cylindrical envelope of the cylindrical portion 48 of the socket 46. Alternatively, however, each tab 56 does not extend in line with the cylindrical envelope of the cylindrical portion 48 of the socket 46.
[0042] Each tab 56 - and therefore each slot 58 - can have a length, measured here along the direction of the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12, greater than or equal to 1 mm, preferably greater than or equal to 2 mm, and / or less than or equal to 10 mm, preferably less than or equal to 5 mm.
[0043] Each projecting relief 60 extends longitudinally in a direction perpendicular to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12, here in an orthoradial direction with respect to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. Each projecting relief 60 may be over the entire width of the corresponding tab 56. Alternatively, however, each projecting relief 60 may be over only a portion of the width of the tab 56, between two slots 58. In particular, each projecting relief 60 may be over at least half the width of the tab 56, preferably over at least three-quarters of the width of the tab 56.
[0044] Each protruding relief 60 can be formed approximately between one-third and two-thirds of the height of the corresponding tongue 56, particularly in the middle of the corresponding tongue 56's height. The deformation of the tongue 56 is indeed significantly greater towards the middle of its height than at its longitudinal ends, in particular.
[0045] The protruding relief 60 has a height, measured along the direction of the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12, which is less than the height of the slots 58, measured along the same direction of the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12. For example, the height of the protruding relief 60 is greater than or equal to 0.1 mm, preferably greater than or equal to 0.5 mm, and / or less than or equal to 3 mm, preferably less than or equal to 2 mm. The height of the protruding relief 60 is preferably limited in relation to the height of the clip tab 56. For example, the height of the protruding relief 60 represents less than 20%, preferably less than 10%, of the height of the clip tab 56. The width of the protruding relief 60, measured along a circumferential or orthoradial direction, may be greater than or equal to 1 mm, preferably greater than or equal to 2 mm, and / or less than or equal to 10 mm, preferably less than or equal to 5 mm.The distance between the top of the protruding relief 60 and the cylindrical envelope of the cylindrical portion 48 of the socket 46, measured radially with respect to the axis A15 of the base 15 of the housing 12, can be less than 2 mm, preferably less than 1 mm. The tab 56 thus exhibits good flexibility while maintaining satisfactory mechanical strength.
[0046] Each tab 56, equipped with a raised relief 60 extending between two slots 58, thus forms an elastic interlocking relief 54 on the cylindrical portion 48 of the sleeve 46. Preferably, each elastic interlocking relief 54 consists of such a tab 56 extending between two slots 58 and equipped with a raised relief 60. Also noteworthy, such an elastic interlocking relief 54 is formed by a metallic part, in this case, the sleeve 46. In other words, it is thus possible to create an elastic interlocking relief 54 with sufficient elasticity to deform, even if this elastic interlocking relief 54 is formed by a metallic part, in this case, the sleeve 46. The creation of a metallic elastic interlocking relief 54 is advantageous for several reasons. Firstly, metal is more easily recyclable than plastic.Furthermore, metal is more resistant than plastic, so the risk of deformation of the elastic interlocking relief 54, made of metal, is reduced.
[0047] The socket 46 has a thickness that can, for example, be greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and / or less than or equal to 1 mm. Thus, the socket 46 is also rigid, so that the socket 46 is difficult to deform by hand, or even impossible to deform by hand, except at the tabs 56.
[0048] Figure 4 schematically represents in cross-section a refill 14 intended to be received in the case 12 described previously, in particular in the base 15 of the case 12.
[0049] The refill 14 comprises, here, a lipstick mechanism 62, schematically represented in Figure 4. The refill 14 is generally cylindrical in shape, extending mainly along the direction of an axis A14, which coincides with the axis A10 of the conditioning and application device 10 when the latter is assembled.
[0050] In a manner known per se, a mechanism 62 receives a stick of cosmetic product B. The mechanism 62 comprises, for example, a base 64, a cup 66, and a chimney 68. The mechanism 62 is adapted to move the cup 66, to which the stick of cosmetic product B is attached, relative to the chimney 68, between a retracted position, illustrated in Figure 4, allowing the device to be closed. conditioning and application 10 by means of the cap 16, and a deployed position, for application of the cosmetic product, in which the cosmetic product stick B protrudes from the chimney 68. In this type of lipstick mechanism, the cosmetic product stick B is generally moved between its two positions, by rotating the chimney 68 relative to the base 64 of the mechanism 14. The base 64 may have a helical groove (not shown) for guiding at least one protrusion integral with the cup 66 which is rotated relative to the base 14, via the chimney 68.
[0051] It can be noted here that the base 64 lacks longitudinal ribs parallel to the axis A14 of the refill 14 on its external surface. However, the base 64 forms a recess 70 complementary to the cross-section of the meshing relief 40. Thus, the base 64 is rotationally fixed to the housing 12 around the axis A14 of the refill 14, by receiving the meshing relief 40 into the complementary recess 70. It is therefore possible to operate the lipstick mechanism 62 by rotating the chimney 68 relative to the base 15 of the housing 12. Other means of rotationally fixing the base 64 and the base 15 of the housing 12 are accessible to those skilled in the art.For example, the base 64 may have grooves on its outer surface, extending for example parallel to the axis A14 of the charge 14, and receiving complementary ribs formed on the radially internal surface of the insert 32, rotationally fixed to the casing 18 of the base 12.
[0052] The base 64 also has a groove 72, here circular, on its outer contour.
[0053] The housing 12 of the cosmetic product packaging and distribution device 10 also includes a cover 16, here in the form of a cap 16.
[0054] The cap 16 has a general cylindrical shape, extending mainly along the direction of an axis A16, which coincides with the axis A10 of the conditioning and application device 10, when the latter is assembled.
[0055] The cap 16 initially comprises a cover shell 74. The cover shell 74 is cylindrical, with its axis aligned with the axis A16 of the cap 16. The shell The 74 housing is here of elliptical cross-section, substantially identical to the cross-section of the housing shell 18 of the case 12.
[0056] The casing 74 of the cap 16 can be made of any material conceivable by those skilled in the art for forming a casing for a device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product 10 in stick form, in particular one of glass, metal, in particular aluminium or an aluminium alloy such as zamak, ceramic, porcelain, crystal and plastic, in particular polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate, ionomer resin such as ethylene vinyl copolymer known under the trade name Surlyn®, wood and urea formaldehyde.
[0057] Preferably, the cover shell 74 of the cap 16 is made of the same material as the cover shell 18 of the base 15 of the housing 12.
[0058] On its radially internal surface, the body shell 74 has a rib 76. Here, the rib 76 is straight, parallel to the axis A16 of the cap 16. The rib 76 extends here over only a part of the height of the body shell 74, oriented along the direction of the axis A16 of the cap 16. For example, the rib 76 extends over at least two-thirds of the height of the body shell 74, preferably over at least three-quarters of the height of the body shell 74.
[0059] The cap 16 also includes a capsule 78 attached to one end of the outer casing 74. The capsule 78 thus closes one longitudinal end of the cylindrical outer casing 74. The capsule 78 may have, as illustrated, a base 80 intended to form a longitudinal end of the conditioning and application device 10. One face of the base 80 of the capsule 78, facing outwards from the outer casing 74, may then bear markings or decorations, either formed directly on the base 80 or applied to this base 80 of the capsule 78. Here, the capsule 78 is applied to the outer casing 74. Alternatively, however, the capsule 78 may be formed as part of the outer casing 74.
[0060] Capsule 78 still has a crown 82, protruding from the base 80. The crown 86 is here generally cylindrical in shape, with axis A16 of the Cap 16. The crown 82 has a generally elliptical cross-section. The crown 82 is substantially complementary to the internal cross-section of the housing 74. The crown 82 can thus be tightly fitted into the housing 74. The crown 82 has indentations 84 on its radially external surface, one of which receives a portion of the rib 76 of the housing 74, and on its radially internal surface. The reception of the rib 76 of the housing 74 in a specific indentation 84 also prevents incorrect orientation of the cap 76 relative to the housing 74.
[0061] The cap 16 also includes an insert 86 received in the cover shell 74. The insert 86 has a general shape substantially complementary to the shape of the cover shell 74. In particular, in the illustrated example, the insert 86 has a cylindrical portion 88 complementary to the cross-section of the cover shell 74. Grooves 90 are on the radially external surface of the cylindrical portion 88 of the insert 86. The grooves 90 are substantially straight, parallel to the axis A16 of the cap 16. One of the grooves 90 receives the rib 76 on the radially internal surface of the cover shell 74. The rib 76 and the groove 90 receiving the rib 76 thus form a keying feature for mounting the insert 86 in the cover shell 74 of the cap 16. being thus mounted with a determined orientation relative to the 74 cladding shell.
[0062] Furthermore, the insert 86 here forms two tabs 92, projecting in the direction of the axis A16 of the cap 16, relative to the cylindrical portion 88, and extending in the continuation of the outer surface of the cylindrical portion 88. The insert 86, in particular the cylindrical portion 88, however forms a rim 91 at the base of the tabs 92. A lug 93 is projecting from the rim 91, in the direction of the axis A16 of the cap.
[0063] The insert 86 receives, in the vicinity of a base, a weight 94. The weight 94 allows to better distribute the weight of the conditioning and application device 10.
[0064] The cap 16 also includes, as illustrated, a magnet 95. The magnet 95 is, for example, in contact with the rim 35 of the insert 91, between the two tabs 92 of the insert 86. The magnet 95 also includes, in the illustrated example, a notch receiving the lug 93 of the insert 86. This ensures the orientation of the magnet 95 relative to the insert 86 and therefore relative to the cap 16. When the magnet 95 is a quadrupole magnet, this ensures that the attachment of the cap 16 to the base 15 of the housing 12 can only be achieved with a single orientation or several predefined orientations of the cap 16 around the axis A10 of the conditioning and application device 10, relative to the base 15 of the housing 12.
[0065] The cap 16 ultimately includes a sleeve 96. The sleeve 96 is metallic. The sleeve 96 comprises a cylindrical portion 97, with a circular cross-section, a first annular portion 98, projecting radially outwards from the cylindrical portion 97, at one end of the cylindrical portion 97, and a second annular portion 99, projecting radially inwards from the cylindrical portion 97, at one end of the cylindrical portion 97. The first annular portion 98, together with the housing 74, the insert 86, specifically the cylindrical portion 88 of the insert 86, and the cylindrical portion 97 of the sleeve 96, defines a housing for receiving the magnet 95.
[0066] The cosmetic product conditioning and application device 10 can be assembled as follows.
[0067] Initially, the refill 14 is inserted into the base 15 of the casing 12 until the protruding ridge 60 of each clip tab 56 of the socket 46 of the casing 12 is received in the groove 72 of the base 64 of the refill 14, as illustrated in Figure 7. In other words, the refill 14 is elastically inserted into the socket 46 of the base 15 of the casing 12. This provides a robust fixation of the refill 14 in the casing 12, particularly in the base 15 of the casing 12, which can nevertheless be easily removed, limiting the risk of damaging the casing 12, especially the socket 46 of the base 15 of the casing 12. Simultaneously, the indentation 70 engages with the meshing ridge 40.
[0068] As can be seen in Figure 6, in particular, the elastic interlocking of the clip tab 56 and the groove 72 is carried out in the vicinity of one end of the cover shell 18, opposite the insertion end of the refill 14 in the base 15 of the case 15, for example at a distance from this end of the cover shell 18 of less than 50%, preferably less than 20%, and even more preferably 10%, of the height of the cover shell 18. Thus, any friction during the insertion of the refill 14 into the case 12 only occurs at the end of the insertion stroke of the refill 14.
[0069] The base 15 of the housing 12 can then be closed using the cap 16, which is attached to the base 15 of the housing 12 by the cooperation of magnets 42 and 95. In this position, the portion of the refill 14 that protrudes from the base 15 of the housing 12 is received in the recess defined by the socket 96 in the cap 16. Of course, other means of attaching the cap 16 to the base 15 of the housing 12 are available to those skilled in the art. In particular, the cap 16 can be screwed or elastically fitted onto the base 15 of the housing 12.
[0070] Furthermore, while here the cap 16 is fixed only on the base 15 of the case 12, the cap 16 can alternatively or additionally be fixed to the refill 14. The cap 16 can be fixed to the refill 14 by any means accessible to those skilled in the art.
[0071] In the following, a second example of a cosmetic product conditioning and application device 100 is described, with reference to figures 8 to 10.
[0072] According to this second example, the cosmetic product packaging and application device 100 is particularly suited to packaging and applying a cosmetic product in liquid, paste, or powder form, using an applicator device such as a brush, applicator tip, or plastic applicator element, preferably flocked. Such a cosmetic product is, for example, lip gloss, nail polish, mascara, or foundation.
[0073] The conditioning and application device 100 also includes a case 12 and a refill 14 received in the case 12. The case 12 also includes a base 15 and a cover 16, here in the form of a cap.
[0074] Here, the base 15 of the housing 12 includes a cover shell 18 and a capsule 22, which closes one end of the cover shell 18. Alternatively, the cover shell 18 and the capsule 22 came from material.
[0075] The cap 16 here essentially comprises a casing 74, generally cylindrical in shape. According to the illustrated example, the casing 74 is closed at one end by a cap 78. Alternatively, however, the casing 74 and the cap 78 are made of the same material.
[0076] The refill 14 here includes a cosmetic product reservoir 102. The reservoir 102 is cylindrical, preferably with a circular cross-section. The reservoir 102 forms a neck 104 which receives a wringing ring 106. The neck 104 has a thread on its radially external surface.
[0077] As can be seen particularly clearly in Figure 9, the refill 14 here includes a metallic sleeve 46, attached to the reservoir 102. For example, the sleeve 46 is received in a recess 108 on the wall of the reservoir 106. Here, the sleeve 46 is fixed near one longitudinal end of the reservoir 106, which is inserted first into the casing 18 when the refill 14 is inserted into the base 15 of the housing 12. Such an assembly appears particularly aesthetically pleasing, as the sleeve 46 is then barely visible, or not visible at all, in the packaging and application device 100 once assembled. The sleeve 46 has the same elastic grip reliefs 54 as the sleeve 46 described opposite the first example of a packaging and application device 10.Here, the raised relief 60 on the tab 56 of each elastic snap-fit connection 54 is received in a groove 72 formed on the radially inner surface of the casing 18 of the base 15 of the housing 12. Thus, the reservoir 102 of the refill 14 is fixed to the base 15 of the housing 12 by elastic snap-fit. According to an alternative (not shown), the groove 72 can be formed on an insert fixed to the inside of the casing 18 of the base 15 of the housing 12.
[0078] Furthermore, according to the illustrated example, the refill 14 includes an applicator device 110 for the cosmetic product, comprising an applicator element 112, a head 114, and a rod 116 connecting the applicator element 112 to the head 114. The applicator device 112 further includes a socket 46 fixed to the head 116. in particular in a recess 118, in the vicinity of a longitudinal end of the head 114. Here, the socket 46 is fixed in the vicinity of a longitudinal end of the head 114, which is first introduced into the casing 74 when the refill 14 is inserted into the cap 16. Such an assembly appears particularly aesthetic, the socket 46 then being not or barely visible in the packaging and application device 100, once assembled. The sleeve 46 has the same elastic interlocking reliefs 54 as the sleeve 46 described opposite the first example of conditioning and application device 10. Here, the relief 60 protruding on the tab 54 of each elastic interlocking link 54 is received in a groove 72 formed on the radially internal surface of the casing shell 74 of the cap 16. Thus, the applicator device 110 of the refill 14 is fixed to the cap 16 of the case 12, by elastic interlocking.According to an unillustrated variant, the groove 72 can be formed on an insert fixed inside the body shell 74.
[0079] Furthermore, it should be noted here that the head 114 has a threaded hole to allow the cap 16 to be attached to the reservoir 106 of the refill 14, which is received in the base 15 of the housing 12. In particular, according to the illustrated example, the cap 16 is thus attached to the head 114, which is itself screwed onto the reservoir 106 of the refill 14, the reservoir 106 being attached to the base 15 of the housing 12. Alternatively, the threaded hole may be present on an insert, attached to the inside of the cover 74 of the cap 16 or to the cover 74 of the cap 16. According to yet another alternative, the cap 16, in particular the cover 74 or the head 114 of the applicator device 110, is attached to the base 15 of the housing 12.
[0080] Preferably, the head 114 of the applicator device 110 has a plugging function, in that it is adapted to close or seal the reservoir 102, particularly when the cap 16 is attached to the reservoir 106 of the refill 14. The rod 116 is such that the applicator element 112 is immersed in the reservoir 102 when the cap 16 is attached to the reservoir 102. Thus, in this closed position of the conditioning and application device 100, the rod 116 passes through the wringer ring 106 fixed in the neck 104 of the reservoir 102. If the applicator element 112 is withdrawn from the reservoir 102, the rod 116 and then the applicator element 112 pass through the squeezing ring 106 which allows the removal of any excess cosmetic product on the applicator element 112. The cap 16 then acts as a gripping element allowing the cosmetic product to be applied precisely using the applicator element 112.
[0081] In this second example as well, the elastic interlocking ridges 54 allow for a robust attachment of the reservoir 102 and the head 114 of the refill 14 to the casing 12, specifically to the base 15 of the casing 12 and the cap 16, respectively. Disassembly of these elastic interlocking ridges remains easy, however, to allow the refill 14 to be removed from the casing 12 when necessary.
[0082] In the example in Figure 8, the elastic interlocking reliefs 54 are formed by cases 46 included in the refill 14. Alternatively, however, the cases 46 may be included in the case 12, in particular in the base 15 of the case 12 and / or in the cap 16.
[0083] The present invention is not limited to the examples just described, but is on the contrary susceptible to numerous variations accessible to those skilled in the art.
[0084] Thus, in each illustrated example, the tabs 56 of the elastic grip reliefs 54 can be on the case 12 and cooperate with a groove 72 on the refill 14. Alternatively, however, the tabs 56 of the elastic grip reliefs 54 are on the refill 14 and cooperate with a groove 72 formed on the case 12.
[0085] Furthermore, in place of groove 72, other elastic interlocking features are accessible to those skilled in the art, which are adapted to cooperate with the tabs 56 and the projecting features 60 to achieve an elastic interlocking. These include, in particular, a rib, one or more lugs, for example in the form of hooks, or a bead.
[0086] Also, in the examples described, the elastic grip reliefs 54 are each time formed by a cartridge case 46 inserted into the case 12 or into the reload 14. Alternatively, however, the elastic grip relief(s) 54 can be formed directly by the housing shell 18, 74 of the base of the case or the cover 16, especially when this housing shell 18, 74 is made of metal.
[0087] Furthermore, the packaging and application device may include an application device other than those already described. In particular, the packaging and application device may include a cosmetic product dispensing device, such as, for example, a pipette or a pump.
