Abstract

To provide a turning center detection system of a crane capable of detecting a turning center of the crane without using a specific sensor.SOLUTION: A turning center detection system of a crane includes a GNSS terminal mounted on a tip of a boom or a jib, which is provided on the crane to perform turning movement and raising / lowering movement, so as to acquire positional data and a detection device detecting the turning center of the crane based on the positional data respectively acquired by the GNSS terminal at different three positions of the turning boom or jib.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

Claims

1. A single GNSS terminal is attached to the tip of a boom on a crane that is capable of slewing and luffing, and acquires position data. A detection device for detecting the pivot center of the crane based on first position data acquired by the GNSS terminal at a first position of the boom or jib, second position data acquired by the GNSS terminal at a second position of the boom or jib different from the first position by raising or lowering the boom or jib from the first position, and at least one of the working radius of the boom or jib at the first position and the working radius of the boom or jib at the second position. A crane pivot center detection system equipped with the following features.

2. The detection device uses the center of gravity of position data with a predetermined accuracy or higher as position information from among multiple position data acquired while the boom is paused by a GNSS terminal attached to the boom, which is paused, to detect the pivot center of the crane. The slewing center detection system for a crane according to claim 1.
