Abstract

The invention relates to veterinary medicine and concerns a drug for the prevention and treatment of radiation injuries in animals, and can be used when the body is exposed to radioactive isotopes. The objective of the claimed invention is to develop a drug for the prevention and treatment of radiation injuries in animals. The problem is solved by using bentonite in powder form, enriched with clover (1 / 1), as a drug for the prevention and treatment of radiation damage to the body of animals, with the addition of a dose of 10 g per 1 kg of feed, which is fed twice with an 8-12 hour interval, during the period of immediate threat of damage by radionuclides, and after damage, with the following ratio of components mass / %: bentonite - 45, starch - 8, clover - 45, purified water - 2. The technical result of the invention is the prevention and treatment of radiation damage to animals through the use of a special feed additive, an expansion of the range of means for combating radiation damage, a reduction in the level of pathologies caused by high-dose irradiation, and high chemical stability of the drug during storage.
