Abstract
This invention relates to a process for preparation of Hydrochloric acid from cheap and abundantly available sea salt by commercial grade sulphuric acid to sea salt and the resulting hydrogen chloride gas has been absorbed in distilled water to prepare 36% to 37% hydrochloric acid. Hydrochloric acid is widely used industrially in such diversified field as the picking of metals for scale removal. Con sugar refining and synthetic rubber production, production of glucose and com sugar from starch and actuations of petroleum wells.
