This is a PVP and agar-based hydrogel that can be chemically synthesized using a radical initiator and added to the preparation of hydraulic mineral binders to improve drying, reducing premature cracking and autogenous cracking of Portland cement mortars and improving mechanical properties and non-evaporable water content in cement mortars.
