Medical-grade color filters

Abstract

A system for generating color-accurate images of biological tissue is disclosed herein, including an image sensor configured to capture and transmit an image of biological tissue and a processor configured to receive and display the image of biological tissue. The image sensor may include a pixel array, a light source, and a control unit. The pixel array may include a plurality of subpixels and a plurality of color filters. Each subpixel may include at least one photodiode. The plurality of color filters may include a red wavelength high-pass color filter, an orange wavelength high-pass color filter, a green wavelength band-pass color filter, and a blue wavelength band-pass color filter. The control unit may be electrically coupled to the pixel array and the light source.
