Abstract
Description
In-vehicle networking communication method, vehicle-mounted wireless communication device, system, and vehicle
[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on October 27, 2023, with application number 202311405770.X and application name “In-vehicle networking communication method, vehicle-mounted wireless communication device, system and vehicle”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field
[0002] The present disclosure relates to the field of communication technology, and in particular to an in-vehicle networking communication method, an in-vehicle wireless communication device, a system, and a vehicle. Background Art
[0003] With the advancement of vehicle technology and information technology, vehicles are gradually entering the era of digital connected vehicles. For example, various sensors and controllers within a vehicle are connected via wired networks, using physical media such as copper-aluminum cables and optical fibers. This wired network can be, for example, an onboard communication bus network, which uses communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, and Ethernet to connect and network various devices within the vehicle.
[0004] However, traditional in-vehicle networking communication technology has many shortcomings: due to the development of intelligence and automation, the number of sensors and actuators in the vehicle has increased significantly. If wired technology is used for connection, the length and weight of the wiring harness (as well as the weight of the entire vehicle), manufacturing cost and installation cost will have a very large impact; the significant increase in the number of connectors in the vehicle due to wiring harness connection will further aggravate the impact of electromagnetic interference in the vehicle; the number of sensors and actuators in the vehicle is not easy to expand.
[0005] Replacing some wired connections with wireless connections to complete data transmission and control functions within the vehicle has become a key development focus. However, when various existing wireless communication technologies (such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, WiFi, and other short-range wireless communication technologies) are applied to vehicles, their stability and security remain to be solved. As a result, there is no officially commercialized in-vehicle wireless networking communication solution.

[0024] The following detailed description is merely illustrative in nature and is not intended to limit the application and use of the present invention. Furthermore, the present invention is not intended to be limited by any expressed or implied theory presented in the foregoing technical field, background technology, summary of the invention, or the following detailed description.
[0025] Traditional in-vehicle networking and communication technologies rely on wired connections between various devices via wiring harnesses. However, with the advancement of vehicle intelligence and digitalization, wired networking and communication are no longer able to meet the growing demand for in-vehicle sensors and actuators (for example, autonomous driving requires the installation of multiple sensors distributed throughout the vehicle). Furthermore, the excessive number of wired sensors and actuators further exacerbates electromagnetic interference within the vehicle. Therefore, as the complexity and functionality of these components in the vehicle grow, the desire to transmit large amounts of data in a convenient manner is becoming increasingly important. Replacing some wired connections with wireless connections is becoming a growing trend in in-vehicle communication.
[0026] For example, wireless communication based on narrowband 2.4GHz can be used to achieve in-vehicle networking communication. However, 2.4GHz is an ISM frequency band commonly used by various radio technologies (such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, WiFi, etc.). Therefore, when there are multiple Bluetooth, Zigbee, and WiFi devices in the car, there is a challenge in frequency band interference, which affects the stability of their communication. To solve this problem, complex communication protocols such as Hopping mechanism and verification mechanism need to be adopted. In addition, 2.4GHz is a fixed-frequency communication, and in terms of information security, it is necessary to consider issues such as relay attacks and information leakage. Therefore, it will require the implementation of more complex encryption measures, etc., resulting in complex protocols and reduced communication efficiency.
[0027] In addition, although broadband radio technologies such as UWB (Ultra-wideband) can achieve high-bandwidth and low-interference data transmission, networking cannot be achieved, and broadband data transmission alone cannot solve mechanisms such as sleep and wake-up.
[0028] As described below, some exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure provide in-vehicle networking communication methods, in-vehicle wireless communication devices, systems, and vehicles. In at least some embodiments, the aforementioned problems in the prior art are addressed by utilizing narrowband wireless communication to determine the timing of a device's broadband wireless communication, simultaneously employing UWB broadband for formal data exchange, and determining the device's location through positioning, as described in more detail below with reference to Figures 1-7.
[0029] Referring to FIG1 , an exemplary scenario 100 is shown in which embodiments of the present disclosure may be applied. Scenario 100 includes a vehicle 110 having a plurality of on-board wireless communication devices 111, 112A, 112B, and 112C. Device 111 and devices 112A-112C (collectively referred to as devices 112) constitute an on-board wireless communication system 113 and are wirelessly connected via a star wireless network (as indicated by the lightning symbol in FIG1 ), wherein device 111 serves as a gateway node device and device 112 serves as an end node device, each end node device 112 can communicate with gateway node device 111, and communications between end node devices 112 are relayed via gateway node device 111. For example, each of the devices 111 and 112 may support multiple radio technologies, such as at least one narrowband radio technology (corresponding to a narrowband wireless communication function) and a UWB radio technology (corresponding to a wideband radio function), so that narrowband communication based on the narrowband radio technology and wideband wireless communication based on the UWB radio technology can be performed between the devices 111 and 112. For example, the devices 111 and 112 may have a narrowband communication module that supports the narrowband wireless communication function and a UWB wireless communication module that supports the wideband wireless communication function, or a wireless communication module that integrates the narrowband wireless communication function and the UWB wireless communication function.
[0030] As shown in Figure 1, similarly, device 111 can also perform narrowband communication and broadband wireless communication with devices 114A and 114B located outside the vehicle 110, wherein devices 114A and 114B support at least one narrowband radio technology and UWB radio technology. Optionally, device 111 can also communicate with on-board wired communication devices 115A and 115B (collectively referred to as devices 115) of vehicle 110 through a wired connection. For example, device 111 can be connected to device 115 via an on-board communication bus network 116 (such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, Ethernet, etc.). Therefore, the gateway node device 111 can also realize communication between the end node device 112 in the on-board wireless communication system 113 and the on-board wired communication device 115 in the on-board communication bus network 116. It should be understood that the number of devices 112, 114, and 115 in Figure 1 is for illustration only and is not intended to limit the in-vehicle wireless communication system or in-vehicle communication bus network provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure. The in-vehicle wireless communication system or in-vehicle communication bus network may include a greater or lesser number of devices.
[0031] Referring to FIG. 2 , a flowchart illustrating an exemplary in-vehicle networking communication method 200 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is shown. Method 200 may be applicable, for example, to vehicle 110 in FIG. 1 and may be performed by, for example, any of the in-vehicle wireless communication device 111 in FIG. 1 , the in-vehicle wireless communication device 401 in FIG. 4 , and the in-vehicle wireless communication device 500 in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2 , method 200 includes steps 201 to 203.
[0032] In step 201, a first device conducts narrowband wireless communication with a second device using narrowband radio technology to determine a communication period for broadband wireless communication with the second device. In this step, narrowband wireless communication exchanges can be used to determine the communication period for broadband wireless communication between the two devices. This allows data transmission to utilize broadband transmission with higher bandwidth and lower interference, rather than the narrowband 2.4 GHz frequency band, which is subject to significant interference, to improve communication efficiency. For example, broadband wireless communication using UWB radio technology operates in a frequency band above 5 GHz, which can reduce congestion in in-vehicle communication channels.
[0033] For example, device 111 (i.e., the first device) in FIG. 1 may transmit a data frame or message based on narrowband radio technology. The data frame or message includes address information (e.g., the device address of device 112A, such as a MAC address) for addressing, for example, device 112A (i.e., the second device). The data frame or message may also include a transmit time period for transmitting data to device 112A based on UWB radio technology and a receive time period for receiving data from device 112A based on UWB radio technology. For example, the data frame or message may include a specific field or have a specific length to indicate that it is a communication time period announcement frame or message. Accordingly, when device 112A receives the communication time period announcement frame or message based on narrowband radio technology, device 112A may detect that the data frame or message is intended for device 112A based on the address information included in the data frame or message, and parse the indicated communication time period from the data frame or message to conduct broadband communication during the communication time period. When another device 112B receives the communication period declaration frame or message based on narrowband radio technology, device 112B can detect that the data frame or message is not for device 112B based on the address information contained in the data frame or message, and device 112B can avoid performing broadband wireless transmission to device 111 during the communication period of device 112A (for example, by parsing the indicated communication period from the data frame or message).
[0034] Alternatively, device 111 of Figure 1 can receive a data frame or message from device 112A sent by device 112A based on narrowband radio technology, the data frame or message including address information of the device for initiating addressing (for example, the device address of device 112A, such as a MAC address, etc.), and the data frame or message can also include a sending period for sending data to device 112A based on UWB radio technology and a receiving period for receiving data from device 112A based on UWB radio technology.
[0035] In some examples, device 111 and device 112A may each send a data frame or message based on narrowband radio technology to notify a transmission period and a reception period, and confirm the corresponding transmission period and reception period after consensus. For example, device 111 and device 112A may determine a broadband communication period based on data transmission requirements to improve data transmission efficiency.
[0036] In step 202, the first device uses the address information of the second device to conduct broadband wireless communication with the second device during a communication period based on UWB radio technology to determine whether the second device is within the permitted distance range of the first device. For example, device 111 may receive a data frame or message sent by device 112A using UWB radio technology during the determined transmission period of device 112A (i.e., the reception period of device 111). The data frame or message may include the address information of device 112A used to initiate the addressing, and / or device 111 may transmit a data frame or message using UWB radio technology during the determined reception period of device 112A (i.e., the transmission period of device 111). The data frame or message may include the address information of device 112A used to initiate the addressing. Furthermore, through the transmission of the data frame or message between device 111 and device 112A, device 112A may be located relative to device 111 to determine whether device 112A is within the permitted range of device 111. In this step, by adding device address information to the broadband data exchange, broadband wireless communications between different devices 112 and device 111 can be scheduled so that different devices 112 communicate with device 111 during non-overlapping communication time periods, thereby achieving wireless networking within the vehicle. Furthermore, compared to the low positioning accuracy of narrowband radio technologies such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, and WiFi, UWB radio technology offers the dual advantages of real-time and precise positioning. Furthermore, its positioning latency is significantly lower than that of these narrowband radio technologies, and it can achieve centimeter-level positioning accuracy, enabling rapid and accurate determination of the distance between the second device and the first device.
[0037] In step 203, if it is determined that the second device is not within the permitted distance range of the first device, data from or to the second device is discarded. Alternatively, if it is determined that the second device is within the permitted distance range of the first device, data from or to the second device is allowed. For example, device 111 may compare the distance between itself and device 112A, as determined using UWB technology, with a threshold distance. If the distance exceeds the threshold distance, it may be determined that device 112A is not within the permitted distance range of device 111. Conversely, if the distance is less than the threshold distance, it may be determined that device 112A is within the permitted distance range of device 111. For example, when device 112A is not within the permitted distance range of device 111, data to or from device 112A (from device 111 or another device) may be discarded. For example, when device 112A is within the permitted distance range of device 111, the data may be deemed legitimate and allowed to or from device 112A. During this step, by simultaneously locating the device during UWB communication, it is possible to ensure that the wireless communication device is effective within the vehicle's interior, for example, thereby preventing long-range attacks. For example, device 111 may receive data transmissions from wireless communication device 114 outside the vehicle. Using distance positioning prevents the external wireless device from affecting the security of the in-vehicle wireless communication transmissions. Furthermore, UWB broadband communication itself is not easily relayed, significantly reducing information security protection measures.
[0038] In some examples, the first device and the second device may interact via narrowband wireless communication or broadband wireless communication to determine other communication parameters for broadband wireless communication, such as communication rate, modulation mode, etc.
[0039] In some examples, before determining a communication period for conducting broadband wireless communication with the second device, method 200 further includes the following steps: conducting narrowband wireless communication with the second device based on a narrowband radio technology to determine a state of a broadband radio function of the second device, where the broadband radio function corresponds to a UWB radio technology. For example, the broadband radio function (or module) of the second device can have multiple states, such as a sleep state and an active state. For example, the broadband radio function (or module) of device 112A can enter a sleep state after the broadband wireless communication ends or after the communication period ends to save energy.
[0040] In some examples, conducting narrowband wireless communication with a second device based on a narrowband radio technology to determine the status of a wideband radio function of the second device may include: receiving a status indication message from the second device based on the narrowband radio technology indicating that the wideband radio function of the second device is in an operational state, the status indication message including address information of the second device. For example, device 112A may passively wake up in response to a wake-up message sent by device 111 and send a status indication message via narrowband communication to indicate that device 112A is awake. Alternatively, device 112A may actively wake up in response to operation of its associated vehicle component and send a status indication message via narrowband communication to indicate that device 112A is awake.
[0041] In some examples, before receiving a status indication message from the second device indicating that the wideband radio function of the second device is in an operational state, method 200 may further include sending a wake-up message based on narrowband radio technology, where the wake-up message includes address information of the second device and is used to trigger the second device to wake up the wideband radio function. For example, a wake-up message command may be sent via narrowband communication of device 111 to actively wake up the wideband radio function (or module) of device 112A, such as using Wake-on-Radio technology.
[0042] In some examples, conducting broadband wireless communication with a second device during a communication period using the second device's address information based on UWB radio technology may include receiving, from the second device, first data for transmission to a target receiving device. Method 200 may also include: determining address information of the target receiving device, the target receiving device being different from the first device; and forwarding the first data based on the address information of the target receiving device. Similar to the above, the address information of the target receiving device may be embedded in a data frame to facilitate data forwarding.
[0043] In some examples, determining the address information of the target receiving device may include: parsing the address information of the target receiving device from the first data.
[0044] In some examples, wirelessly connecting a first device to a target receiving device and forwarding first data based on address information of the target receiving device may include: performing narrowband wireless communication with the target receiving device based on narrowband radio technology to determine a first target communication period for performing broadband wireless communication with the target receiving device; and forwarding the first data to the target receiving device using the address information of the target receiving device based on UWB radio technology during the first target communication period. For example, the target receiving device may be device 112B in FIG. 1 . Similar to the steps described above, device 111 needs to determine a target communication period for broadband wireless communication with device 112B using narrowband radio communication technology, and device 111 forwards data from device 112A to device 112B using UWB radio technology based on the determined target communication period.
[0045] In some examples, method 200 may further include: receiving second data for transmission to a second device from a target sending device communicatively connected to the first device; and forwarding the second data based on address information of the second device. For example, the target sending device may be device 112C or device 115A in FIG. 1 .
[0046] In some examples, the first device being communicatively connected to the target sending device via a wired communication protocol and forwarding the second data based on the address information of the second device may include: converting the second data in a wired communication protocol format according to a broadband wireless communication protocol; and transmitting the converted second data to the second device during a communication period using the address information of the second device via UWB radio technology. For example, device 111 may have a wired communication module and be wiredly connected to device 115A. Device 111 converts data from device 115A in a wired communication protocol format based on the wireless communication protocol, and forwards the converted data from device 115A to device 112A via UWB radio technology during a communication period with device 112A determined based on narrowband radio technology.
[0047] In some examples, the first device is wirelessly connected to the target transmitting device, and method 200 may further include performing narrowband wireless communication with the target transmitting device based on narrowband radio technology to determine a second target communication period for performing broadband wireless communication with the target transmitting device, receiving the second data from the target transmitting device during the second target communication period using address information of the target transmitting device based on UWB radio technology, and forwarding the second data to the second device during the communication period using the address information of the second device based on UWB radio technology. For example, similar to the steps described above, device 111 needs to determine a target communication period for broadband wireless communication with device 112C using narrowband radio technology, and device 111 receives data from device 112C using UWB radio technology based on the determined target communication period, and forwards the data from device 112C to device 112A using UWB radio technology during the communication period determined with device 112A based on the narrowband radio technology.
[0048] In some examples, method 200 may further include: sending a sleep message to the second device based on narrowband radio technology, the sleep message including the address information of the second device and used to trigger the broadband radio function of the second device to enter a sleep state. For example, when the vehicle as a whole changes from a use state to a non-use state (such as after the user turns off the power unit or locks the vehicle), the gateway node device 111 may send a sleep message command to one or more or all of all end node devices via narrowband, so that their broadband radio functions are in a sleep state. Accordingly, when the vehicle as a whole changes from a non-use state to a use state (such as after the user starts the power unit or unlocks the vehicle), the gateway node device 111 may send a wake-up message command to the corresponding end node device among all end node devices via narrowband based on data transmission requirements, so that their broadband radio functions are in a wake-up state.
[0049] In some examples, step 203 of method 200 may include: conducting broadband wireless communication with a second device during a communication period based on UWB radio technology, determining a measured distance between the first device and the second device using ranging data transmitted between the first device and the second device via the broadband wireless communication via a ranging algorithm; and determining whether the measured distance is within an allowed distance range. For example, when exchanging broadband data via UWB technology, the distance between device 111 and device 112A may be determined based on the transmitted ranging data. For example, as described in the IEEE 802.15.4z-2020 standard, a time-of-flight ranging algorithm may be used to determine the measured distance between the two devices using a marker RMARKER carried in the transmitted message. The TOF ranging algorithm may include, for example, SS-TWR, DS-TWR, OWR / TDOA, etc. For example, the measured distance between the two devices may also be determined using various ranging algorithms known in the art or developed in the future using other types of ranging data carried in the message. For example, the measured distance may be compared with a threshold distance to determine whether device 112A is within the allowed distance range of device 111.
[0050] In some examples, narrowband radio technology may include, but is not limited to, Bluetooth radio technology, Zigbee radio technology, WiFi radio technology, NFC radio technology, RFID radio technology, narrowband radio technology defined in UWB standards (including existing or future UWB standards), and various other narrowband radio technologies developed in the future, etc.
[0051] In some examples, the first device is a gateway node device of an in-vehicle wireless communication system.
[0052] In some examples, the second device is an end node device of an in-vehicle wireless communication system and is associated with a vehicle component.
[0053] In some examples, vehicle components may include, but are not limited to, control modules located on vehicle doors, seat control modules, massage control modules, and onboard sensors. For example, a vehicle component may be a control module located on a vehicle door (e.g., a window switch, a door switch, etc.), a sunlight and rain sensor, a seat control module, a massage control module, a sunroof control module, or a tailgate control module. For example, these vehicle components may be battery-powered and located remotely from the gateway node device. Connecting such vehicle components via wired communication may be cumbersome and costly.
[0054] 3 , a flowchart illustrating an exemplary in-vehicle networking communication method 300 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is shown. Method 300 may be applicable to, for example, vehicle 110 of FIG. 1 , and may be performed by, for example, any of the in-vehicle wireless communication device 112 of FIG. 1 , the in-vehicle wireless communication device 402 of FIG. 4 , and the in-vehicle wireless communication device 600 of FIG. 6 As shown in FIG. 3 , method 300 includes steps 301 to 303.
[0055] In step 301, a status indication message is sent to a second device based on narrowband radio technology, indicating that the wideband radio function of the second device is in an operational state. The wideband radio function corresponds to UWB radio technology. For example, device 112A (i.e., the second device) may passively wake up in response to a wake-up message sent by device 111 (i.e., the first device) and send a status indication message via narrowband communication to indicate that device 112A is awake. Alternatively, device 112A may actively wake up in response to operation of its associated vehicle component and send a status indication message via narrowband communication to indicate that device 112A is awake.
[0056] In step 302 , narrowband communication is performed with the first device based on narrowband radio technology to determine a communication period for performing broadband wireless communication with the first device. For example, this step can be implemented in a manner similar to that described above with respect to step 201 of method 200 .
[0057] In step 303 , broadband wireless communication is performed with the first device during the communication period using the address information of the second device based on UWB radio technology. For example, this step can be implemented in a manner similar to that described above with respect to step 202 of method 200 .
[0058] In some examples, before sending a status indication message that the broadband radio function of the second device is in a working state, method 300 also includes the following steps: receiving a wake-up message sent by the first device based on narrowband radio technology; if the wake-up message includes the address of the second device, triggering the second device to wake up the broadband radio function, and the broadband radio function corresponds to UWB radio technology.
[0059] In some examples, step 303 of method 300 may include: transmitting first data for transmission to a target receiving device, the first data including address information of the second device and the target receiving device.
[0060] In some examples, step 303 may include: receiving second data transmitted by the first device based on UWB radio technology; determining whether the intended recipient of the second data includes the second device; and discarding the second data if it is determined that the intended recipient of the second data does not include the second device.
[0061] In some examples, the second device is an end node device of the in-vehicle wireless communication system, and the first device is a gateway node device of the in-vehicle wireless communication system.
[0062] In some examples, the second device is associated with a vehicle component, and method 300 may also include causing the broadband radio function of the second device to enter an operating state in response to detecting an operation on the vehicle component, and step 301 may include sending a status indication message that the broadband radio function of the second device is in an operating state based on narrowband radio technology when the broadband radio function of the second device is in an operating state.
[0063] In some examples, method 300 may also include: receiving a sleep message sent by a first device based on narrowband radio technology; determining whether the intended recipient of the sleep message includes a second device; and if it is determined that the intended recipient of the sleep message includes the second device, causing the broadband radio function of the second device to enter a sleep state.
[0064] In some examples, narrowband radio technology may include, but is not limited to, Bluetooth radio technology, Zigbee radio technology, WiFi radio technology, NFC radio technology, RFID radio technology, narrowband radio technology defined in UWB standards (including existing or future UWB standards), and various other narrowband radio technologies developed in the future, etc.
[0065] 4 , a flowchart of an exemplary in-vehicle networking communication method 400 for interaction between multiple devices according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is shown. The multiple devices include a first device 401, a second device 402, a third device 403, and a fourth device 404 communicatively connected to the first device 401. The first device 401 may be, for example, the in-vehicle wireless communication device 111 of FIG. 1 , the second device 402 may be, for example, the in-vehicle wireless communication device 112 or device 114 of FIG. 1 , the third device 403 may be, for example, the in-vehicle wireless communication device 112 or device 114 of FIG. 1 , and the fourth device 404 may be, for example, the in-vehicle wired communication device 115 of FIG. Method 400 may include multiple steps S411 to S419 to implement communication between the multiple devices, wherein at least some steps are optional and not required.
[0066] In step S411 , the first device 401 sends a wake-up message based on narrowband radio technology. The wake-up message includes address information of the second device 402 and is used to trigger the second device 402 to wake up a broadband radio function.
[0067] In step S412, first device 401 receives a status indication message from second device 402 based on narrowband radio technology, indicating that the wideband radio function of second device 402 is in an operational state. The status indication message includes the address information of second device 402. For example, second device 402 may passively wake up in response to a wake-up message sent by first device 401 and transmit the status indication message via narrowband communication to indicate device wake-up. For example, second device 402 may actively wake up in response to operation of its associated vehicle component and transmit the status indication message via narrowband communication to indicate device wake-up. In this case, step S411 is not necessary.
[0068] In step S413 , the first device 401 performs narrowband wireless communication with the second device 402 based on narrowband radio technology to determine a communication period for performing broadband wireless communication with the second device 413 .
[0069] In step S414, first device 401 uses UWB radio technology to perform broadband wireless communication with second device 402 during a communication period using the address information of second device 402. For example, first device 401 can receive data from second device 402 or transmit data to second device 402 via UWB radio technology. Furthermore, first device 401 can determine the distance of second device 402 via broadband wireless communication to determine whether data from or to second device 402 is legitimate based on the distance. For example, data sent from second device 402 to first device 401 can be destined for third device 403 or fourth device 404.
[0070] In step S415 , similar to step S411 , the first device 401 sends a wake-up message based on narrowband radio technology. The wake-up message includes address information of the third device 403 and is used to trigger the third device 403 to wake up a broadband radio function.
[0071] In step S416, the first device 401 receives a status indication message from the third device 403 based on the narrowband radio technology, indicating that the broadband radio function of the third device 403 is in an active state. The status indication message includes the address information of the second device 403. For example, the third device 403 may be passively awakened in response to the wake-up message sent by the first device 401 and send the status indication message through narrowband communication to indicate that the device is awakened.
[0072] In step S417 , similar to step S413 , the first device 401 performs narrowband wireless communication with the third device 403 based on narrowband radio technology to determine a target communication period for performing broadband wireless communication with the third device 413 .
[0073] In step S418, first device 401 uses the address information of third device 403 to perform broadband wireless communication with third device 403 during the target communication period based on UWB radio technology. For example, first device 401 can forward data received from second device 402 to third device 403 via UWB radio technology. Similar to step 414, first device 401 can determine the distance of third device 403 via broadband wireless communication to determine whether the data from or to third device 403 is legitimate based on the distance.
[0074] Similarly, when the third device 403, as the target sending device, desires to transmit data to the second device 402, the third device 403 may interact with the first device 401 in a manner similar to steps S411 to S414, and the second device 402 may interact with the first device 401 in a manner similar to steps S415 to S418 to receive data from the third device 403 forwarded by the first device 401. Furthermore, the communication period during which the first device 401 and the second device 402 perform broadband wireless communication does not overlap with the communication period during which the first device 401 and the third device 403 perform broadband wireless communication.
[0075] In step S419 , the first device 401 may convert the data based on the wireless communication protocol format from the second device 402 into the wired communication protocol, and forward the converted data from the second device 402 to the fourth device 404 through the wired communication connection.
[0076] Similarly, when the fourth device 404, as the target sending device, expects to transmit data to the second device 402, the first device 401 can receive data from the fourth device 404 via a wired communication connection, and convert the data based on the wired communication protocol format according to the wireless communication protocol, and the first device 401 can interact with the second device 402 in a manner similar to steps S411 to S414, and forward the converted data to the second device 402.
