Description

Simultaneous forearm and upper limb strengthening exercise machine

[0001] The present invention relates to a device for simultaneously strengthening forearm and upper limb muscles, and more particularly, to a device for simultaneously strengthening forearm and upper limb muscles, which improves the efficiency of arm exercise by allowing a user to perform forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercises simultaneously using the device.

[0002] The forearm muscles are located between the elbow and wrist, and the upper arm muscles are located between the elbow and shoulder. One way to strengthen the forearm muscles is to hold a gripper. Another way to strengthen the upper arm muscles is to pull on both ends of an elastic material. Simultaneous forearm and upper arm strengthening devices perform these functions simultaneously. However, conventional devices that simultaneously strengthen the forearm and upper arm muscles have the problem of instability due to the elastic force applied to the gripper, making it prone to slipping out of the hand. Furthermore, if the gripper is dropped due to insufficient grip strength, it can lead to a dangerous situation.

[0046] Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 12, a simultaneous forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[0047] FIG. 1 is a drawing showing a simultaneous forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0048] The simultaneous forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (1) is an exercise device that can perform forearm muscle strengthening exercise while simultaneously performing upper limb muscle strengthening exercise. The simultaneous forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (1) may include a forearm muscle strengthening unit (100), an upper limb muscle strengthening unit (200), a connecting unit (300), and a supporting unit (400).

[0049] The forearm strengthening member (100) can generate resistance when the user holds it with their hand. Accordingly, when the user withstands the resistance and holds the forearm strengthening member (100) with their hand, the forearm muscles are used, thereby strengthening the forearm muscles.

[0050] The forearm muscle reinforcement member (100), as shown in FIG. 1, may be ring-shaped. In FIG. 1, the ring shape of the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) is depicted as circular, but the ring shape of the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) may be oval-shaped so that the user can easily hold it in his or her hand.

[0051] There may be a plurality of forearm muscle reinforcement units (100). Referring to FIG. 1, two forearm muscle reinforcement units (100) may be positioned at both ends of the upper limb muscle reinforcement unit (200) described below.

[0052] The upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) can be extended in the longitudinal direction, as shown in FIG. 1. The upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) can have multiple forearm muscle reinforcement parts (100) connected to each end.

[0053] Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view showing an upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention being fixed to a connecting part (300A).

[0054] The upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) may include a first fixing member (210) and an elastic member (220). The first fixing member (210) may be positioned at both ends of the upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200). Referring to (b) of FIG. 2, the first fixing member (210) may have a spherical shape. The diameter of the first fixing member (210) may be larger than the diameter of a longitudinally vertical cross-section of the elastic member (220) to be described later. Accordingly, the first fixing member (210) may not pass through the second fixing member (310) to be described later, so that the upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) may be fixed to the connecting part (300).

[0055] The elastic member (220) may include an elastic material. When a user holds the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) in his / her hand and pulls both ends of the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) to apply tension to the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200), the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) may undergo elastic deformation and generate elastic force. By pulling the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) while enduring the elastic force generated from the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200), the user uses the upper limb muscles, thereby strengthening the upper limb muscles.

[0056] The connecting part (300) may serve to connect the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) and the upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) to each other. Referring to FIG. 1, the connecting part (300) may be arranged between the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) and the upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200). The connecting part (300A) may include a second fixing member (310). One side of the connecting part (300A) may be connected to the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100), referring to FIG. 2. A second fixing member (310) may be arranged on the other side of the connecting part (300A). As shown in FIG. 2, the other side of the connecting part (300A) may be fixed by inserting a first fixing member (210).

[0057] The second fixing member (310) may have an inner diameter smaller than that of the first fixing member (210). Accordingly, the elastic member (220) may pass through the second fixing member (310), but the first fixing member (210) may not pass through the second fixing member (310), so that the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) may be fixed to the connecting member (300). Referring to (a) of FIG. 2, the second fixing member (310) may be annular.

[0058] As described above, the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) can pass through the second fixing member (310), as shown in (b) of FIG. 2. However, the first fixing member (210) cannot pass through because its diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of the second fixing member (310), and only the elastic member (220) can pass through the second fixing member (310). Accordingly, the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) can be fixed to the connecting member (300).

[0059] Figure 3 is a drawing showing a connecting portion (300B) according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[0060] In the connecting portion (300B), the second fixing member (310) may be positioned at the inner center of the ring formed by the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100), as shown in FIG. 3. The effect thereof will be described later. The connecting portion (300B) may include a plurality of connecting legs (320B). One end of the connecting leg (320B) may be connected to a surface including the second fixing member (310). The other end of the connecting leg (320C) may be coupled to the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100). By balancing the plurality of connecting legs (320B), the second fixing member (310) may be positioned at the inner center of the ring formed by the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100).

[0061] Figure 4 is a drawing showing a connecting portion (300C) according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[0062] The connecting portion (300C) may include a connecting bridge (320C), a first side (330), a second side (340), and a suture line (350).

[0063] The first side (330) may include a second fixing member (310). The first side (330) may include a polygonal shape with three or more corners. In one embodiment, the first side (330) may include a hexagonal shape, as illustrated in FIG. 4.

[0064] The second side (340) may include a shape corresponding to the shape of the first side. In one embodiment, the second side (340) may include a hexagonal shape corresponding to the first side (330), as shown in FIG. 4.

[0065] The materials of the first side (330) and the second side (340) are not particularly limited. In one embodiment, the first side (330) and the second side (340) may include a cloth material.

[0066] The second side (340) can be sutured with the first side (330). Each corner of the first side (330) can be sutured with each corresponding corner of the second side (340). The suture line (350) can be a point where the first side (330) and the second side (340) are sutured with each other. There can be at least one suture line (350). In other words, there can be a plurality of suture lines (350). In one embodiment, there can be six suture lines (350), as shown in FIG. 4 .

[0067] The connecting bridge (320C) may serve to fix the position of the second fixing member (310) by connecting the forearm reinforcement member (100) and the second fixing member (310). There may be at least one connecting bridge (320C). In other words, there may be a plurality of connecting bridges (320C). In one embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 4, there may be three connecting bridges (320C).

[0068] By balancing the multiple connecting legs (320C), the second fixing member (310) can be positioned in the inner center of the ring formed by the forearm reinforcement member (100). The effect of this will be described later.

[0069] One end of the connecting bridge (320C) may be connected to a suture line (350). The other end of the connecting bridge (320C) may be fixed to the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100). The angle between two adjacent connecting bridges (320C) may be the same. Accordingly, the force applied to the first surface (330) to which the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) is fixed may be evenly distributed, thereby improving stability and durability.

[0070] The first fixing member (210) can be positioned between the first surface (330) and the second surface (340). The first fixing member (210) can be fixed by the second fixing member (310), the first surface (330), the second surface (340), and a plurality of suture lines (350). Accordingly, the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) can be fixed to the connecting member (300C).

[0071] The connecting portion (300C) may further include a first fastening member (360). Referring to FIG. 4, the first fastening member (360) may be positioned at the suture line (350). The first fastening member (360) may be ring-shaped. The first fastening member (360) may be fastened to a second fastening member (440) to be described later, thereby connecting the connecting portion (300) and the supporting portion (400) to be described later.

[0072] Fig. 5 is a drawing showing a support member (400) according to one embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 6 is a drawing showing a first fastening member (360) of a connecting member (300C) and a second fastening member (440) of a support member (400) being fastened to each other.

[0073] The support member (400) may serve to support and secure the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) to the user's wrist. The support member (400) may include a first wing (410), a second wing (420), and a third wing (430) extending in three different directions. In one embodiment, the first wing (410) may form a right angle with the second wing (420) and the third wing (430), as shown in FIG. 5 . The second wing (420) and the third wing (430) may extend in opposite directions.

[0074] The first wing (410) may include a first detachable member (411). The first detachable member (411) may be disposed at one end of the first wing (410). In one embodiment, the first detachable member (411) may be attached to one side of the first wing (410) by passing through the first fastening member (360) (not shown). At this time, the width of the first wing (410) may be such that it passes through the first fastening member (360). That is, by adjusting the degree to which the first wing (410) is folded according to the user's body shape, the support member (400) may stably support and fix the forearm reinforcement part (100) according to the user's body shape. In another embodiment, the first detachable member (411) may be attached to one side of the first wing (410) after wrapping around one side of the forearm reinforcement part (100), as shown in FIG. 5. This case is an example in which the support member (400) includes a second fastening member (440) and a guide (450) to be described later. This will be described later.

[0075] The second wing (420) may include a second detachable member (421). The second detachable member (421) may be disposed at one end of the second wing (420). The third wing (430) may include a third detachable member (431). The third detachable member (431) may be disposed at one end of the third wing (430).

[0076] The second detachable member (421) and the third detachable member (431) can be arranged on opposite sides based on the side formed by the second wing (420) and the third wing (430). The second detachable member (421) and the third detachable member (431) can be detached from each other. The second wing (420) and the third wing (430) can wrap around the user's wrist, and the support member (400) can be fixed to the user's wrist by attaching the second detachable member (421) and the third detachable member (431) to each other.

[0077] The method of attaching and detaching the first detachable member (411), the second detachable member (421), and the third detachable member (431) is not particularly limited. In one embodiment, the first detachable member (411), the second detachable member (421), and the third detachable member (431) may include Velcro.

[0078] The support member (400) may further include a second fastening member (440) and a guide (450).

[0079] The second fastening member (440), as shown in FIG. 5, may be positioned on the first wing (410). The second fastening member (440) may be ring-shaped. Referring to FIG. 6, the second fastening member (440) may be fastened to the first fastening member (360) described above. Accordingly, the connecting portion (300) and the supporting portion (400) may be connected to each other.

[0080] The second fastening member (440) may be positionally movable along the longitudinal direction of the first wing (410). Specifically, the second fastening member (440) may be positionally movable along a guide (450) to be described later. The method of movement of the second fastening member (440) is not particularly limited.

[0081] The guide (450) can guide the movement of the second fastening member (440). The guide (450) can be placed on the first wing (410). The guide (450) can extend parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first wing (410). The manner in which the guide (450) guides the movement of the second fastening member (440) is not particularly limited.

[0082] In one embodiment, the guide (450) may include a groove extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the first wing (410). The second fastening member (440) may pass through the groove. One end of the second fastening member (440) may be supported at the bottom of the guide (450). The other end of the second fastening member (440) may include a ring shape and may be fastened to the first fastening member (360).

[0083] Referring to Fig. 5, at the same time that the second fastening member (440) is fastened to the first fastening member (360), the first detachable member (411) can be attached to one side of the first wing (410) after wrapping around one side of the forearm muscle strengthening unit (100). That is, by adjusting the degree to which the first wing (410) is folded to fit the user's body shape, the forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (1) can be worn to fit the user's body shape.

[0084] Figure 7 is a drawing showing a device (1) for simultaneously strengthening the forearm and upper limb muscles according to one embodiment of the present invention worn on the hand.

[0085] Referring to FIG. 7, when a user wears the support member (400) on the wrist, the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) can receive a force (A) supported in the direction of the user's wrist. Meanwhile, when the user pulls the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) at both ends while holding the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) in the hand, the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) can receive a force (B) pulled by the elastic force of the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200). The directions of the force (A) supported by the support member (400) and the force (B) pulled by the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) can be perpendicular to each other, as shown in FIG. 7. That is, the pulling force (B) is partially offset by the supporting force (A), thereby providing a sense of stability to the user pulling the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100).

[0086] The point of action of the force (A) supported by the support member (400) and the force (B) pulled by the upper arm muscle reinforcement member (200) may be the second fixing member (310). As described above, the second fixing member (310) may be located at the inner center of the ring formed by the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100). Accordingly, the supporting force (A) and the pulling force (B) may be perpendicular to each other, and thus the amount of the pulling force (B) offset by the supporting force (A) may be maximized. The greater the amount of the pulling force (B) offset, the more stably the user can exercise. That is, the second fixing member (310) may be located at the inner center of the ring formed by the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100), thereby improving the sense of stability provided to the user.

[0087] FIG. 8 is a drawing showing a support member (400) including a support assistance member (460) according to one embodiment of the present invention.

[0088] The support member (400) may further include a support assist member (460). The support assist member (460) may supplement and reinforce the role of the support member (400) in supporting and fixing the forearm muscle reinforcement member (100) to the user's wrist.

[0089] The support member (460), as shown in FIG. 8, may be cylindrical. The support member (460) may allow the user's forearm to pass through it. That is, the user may pass the arm through the support member (460) and then wrap the wrist with the second wing (420) and the third wing (430). The force with which the support member (400) is fixed to the user's body may be increased by the support member (460). Accordingly, the magnitude of the force (A) applied to the forearm muscle reinforcement unit (100) and supported by the support member (400) may be further increased, thereby further enhancing the sense of stability provided to the user.

[0090] The support member (460) may include an elastic material. Accordingly, when the support member (460) is worn, the support member (460) may compress the user's forearm, thereby reinforcing the aforementioned supporting force (A). Furthermore, by compressing the forearm muscles, which are the target of exercise by the simultaneous forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (1), exercise efficiency can be improved.

[0091] Fig. 9 is a drawing showing a detachment prevention glove (500) according to one embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 10 is a drawing showing a detachment prevention glove (500) with a forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) fitted and fixed on the hand.

[0092] The forearm and upper limb simultaneous strengthening exercise device (1A) may include a forearm strengthening unit (100), an upper limb strengthening unit (200), a connecting unit (300), a supporting unit (400), and a detachment prevention glove (500). The forearm strengthening unit (100), the upper limb strengthening unit (200), the connecting unit (300), and the supporting unit (400) have the same or similar configurations and effects as the forearm strengthening unit (100), the upper limb strengthening unit (200), the connecting unit (300), and the supporting unit (400) of the forearm and upper limb simultaneous strengthening exercise device (1) described above, so a detailed description thereof will be omitted, and the detachment prevention glove (500), which is different from the forearm and upper limb simultaneous strengthening exercise device (1), will be mainly described.

[0093] The anti-separation gloves (500) can prevent the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) from coming off from the user's hand even if the user loosens the strength with which he or she is holding the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) by making the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) close to the user's hand.

[0094] The anti-separation glove (500) may include a fitting fixing member (510) and a glove member (520).

[0095] The fitting fixing member (510) can fit and fix the forearm reinforcement member (100). The fitting fixing member (510) can include a fitting groove (511), a seating surface (512), and a fixed wing (513).

[0096] The fitting groove (511) can serve as a path for the forearm reinforcement (100) to pass through. The fitting groove (511) can be opened in the opposite direction of the thumb hole (Th). The thumb hole (Th) refers to the portion of the glove member (520) described below where the user's thumb is worn. The forearm reinforcement (100) can be fitted into the fitting groove (511).

[0097] The fixing surface (512) can serve to tightly fix the forearm reinforcement (100) to the glove member (520) to be described later. The fixing surface (512) can be sutured to the glove member (520) to be described later. Referring to Fig. 9, the suture line (K) formed by the suture of the fixing surface (512) and the glove member (520) can block the fitting groove (511) and the thumb hole (Th).

[0098] Referring to Fig. 10, when a user uses the simultaneous forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (1A), the direction of the force (B) pulled by the elastic force of the upper limb muscle strengthening part (200) may be the same as or similar to the direction in which the thumb is pointed. Accordingly, the suture line (K) prevents the forearm muscle strengthening part (100) from being detached by the force (B) and maintains the forearm muscle strengthening part (100) in close contact with the detachment prevention glove (500).

[0099] The fixed wing (513) can help the fixing surface (512) to firmly fix the forearm reinforcement part (100) to the anti-separation glove (500). Referring to FIG. 9, there may be a plurality of fixed wings (513). The fixed wing (513) can include a fourth detachable member (513a) at one end. Referring to FIG. 10, after the forearm reinforcement part (100) is fitted into the fitting groove (511), the fourth detachable member (513a) is attached to the back of the hand of the glove part (520) to be described later, thereby strengthening the close fixation of the forearm reinforcement part (100). The method of attaching and detaching the fourth detachable member (513a) is not particularly limited. In one embodiment, the fourth detachable member (513a) may include Velcro.

[0100] The glove member (520) can be fitted and secured to the user's hand. The glove member (520) can include a plurality of holes, including a thumb hole (Th), into which the user's fingers can be fitted. The length of the holes is not particularly limited.

[0101] The anti-separation gloves (500) can prevent the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) from coming off by offsetting to a certain extent the force (B) acting on the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) that is pulled by the elastic force of the upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200). In other words, the effect of fixing the forearm muscle reinforcement part (100) to the user's palm is increased, thereby providing the user with a sense of stability.

[0102] Fig. 11 is a drawing showing a device (2) for simultaneously strengthening the forearm and upper limb muscles according to another embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 12 is a drawing showing a cover (600) included in the device (2) for simultaneously strengthening the forearm and upper limb muscles of Fig. 11.

[0103] When exercising, forearm muscles often fatigue before other muscles. Simultaneous forearm and upper limb strengthening equipment (2) allows you to temporarily pause forearm strengthening exercises and focus solely on upper limb strengthening when forearm muscles fatigue and grip strength declines.

[0104] The forearm and upper limb muscle simultaneous strengthening exercise device (2) may include a forearm muscle strengthening unit (100), an upper limb muscle strengthening unit (200), a connecting unit (300), a cover (600), and a handle (700). The forearm muscle strengthening unit (100), the upper limb muscle strengthening unit (200), and the connecting unit (300) have the same or similar configurations and effects as the forearm muscle strengthening unit (100), the upper limb muscle strengthening unit (200), and the connecting unit (300) of the forearm and upper limb muscle simultaneous strengthening exercise device (1) described above, so a detailed description thereof will be omitted, and the cover (600) and the handle (700), which are different from the forearm and upper limb muscle simultaneous strengthening exercise device (1), will be mainly described.

[0105] The cover (600) may be placed between the upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) and the connecting part (300). The cover (600) may be disk-shaped. Referring to FIGS. 11 and 12 , the cover (600) may include a first detachable groove (610). An elastic member (220) may pass through the first detachable groove (610). Specifically, the upper limb muscle reinforcement part (200) may be fitted into the first detachable groove (610) in a direction perpendicular to the cover (600). The material of the cover (600) is not particularly limited. In one embodiment, the cover (600) may include rubber.

[0106] The cover (600) can provide stability and convenience to the user by separating the forearm muscle strengthening unit (100) and the user's hand when the user performs only upper limb muscle strengthening exercise using the forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (2).

[0107] The handle (700) may be positioned on the opposite side of the connection portion (300) with respect to the cover (600). The handle (700) may extend in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200). The handle (700) may include a second detachable groove (710). An elastic member (220) may pass through the second detachable groove (710). Specifically, the upper limb muscle reinforcement member (200) may be fitted into the second detachable groove (710) in the longitudinal direction of the handle (700). The material of the handle (700) is not particularly limited. In one embodiment, the handle (700) may include a sponge.

[0108] The handle (700) enables the user to easily hold both ends of the upper limb muscle strengthening unit (200) with their hands when performing only upper limb muscle strengthening exercise using the simultaneous forearm and upper limb muscle strengthening exercise device (2), thereby enabling the user to perform upper limb muscle strengthening exercise and at the same time providing the user with a sense of stability and convenience.
