Abstract

A junction box according to the present invention is disposed between a vehicle seat (7000) and a battery device (5000). The junction box comprises a plurality of relays (10, 160) and a holding member (60) that holds the plurality of relays. The plurality of relays include at least two specific relays (10) through which current flows when the vehicle is traveling or during DC charging of the battery device. More than half of specific relays are disposed further to the front side of the vehicle than the position opposite of the lowest part (7043) of the seat where the distance from the battery device is the smallest.

Claims

1. A relay device positioned between a seat (7000) and a battery (5000) of a vehicle (1), comprising: a plurality of relays (10, 110-170); and a holding member (60) for holding the plurality of relays, wherein the plurality of relays include at least two specific relays (10, 110-140) through which current flows when the vehicle is running or when the battery is DC-charged, and more than half of the specific relays are positioned forward of the vehicle beyond the lowest (7043) position opposite the seat where the distance between the seat and the battery is narrowest.

2. The relay device according to claim 1, wherein half of the specified relays are positioned forward of the vehicle beyond the midpoint between the uppermost (7041) and lowermost (7042) points where the battery spacing is widest in the seat.

3. The relay device according to claim 2, wherein a portion of the specific relay located on the front side of the vehicle than the opposing position is located in the uppermost opposing region.

4. The relay device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the plurality of relays include, in addition to the specified relay, a plurality of low-current relays (150 to 170) through which a current smaller than the current flowing through the specified relay flows, and at least one of the low-current relays is positioned further back on the vehicle than the specified relay which is positioned further forward on the vehicle than the opposing position.

5. The relay device according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising a plurality of equipment components (210-250, 310-340, 410, 420) held by the holding member, wherein at least one of the equipment components is positioned further rear of the vehicle than the specific relay positioned further forward of the vehicle than the opposing position.

6. A relay device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein a circuit unit (3000) is arranged opposite a circuit section (3010) having at least one of a charging circuit and a voltage conversion circuit, and a cooler (3020) for cooling the circuit section, and the specific relay is arranged in the region opposite the circuit unit.

7. The relay device according to claim 4, further comprising a wire harness (500) bundling signal lines for supplying drive signals to the specified relay and the low-current relay, wherein the wire harness is positioned between the specified relay and the low-current relay.

8. The relay device according to claim 7, wherein the wire harness is connected and the small current relay is positioned opposite the control device (4000) that outputs the drive signal, and a portion of the small current relay positioned further rearward than the specific relay is positioned opposite the control device.

9. The relay device according to claim 8, further comprising a cover (800) attached to the holding member opposite the specific relay, wherein there are a plurality of heat dissipation holes (820, 830), and the heat dissipation holes are fewer on the rear side of the vehicle than on the front side of the vehicle.

10. The relay device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the relay has a contact case (12) and a fixed contact (14) fixed to the contact case and protruding from the contact case, and the fixed contact protrudes in a direction intersecting the mounting direction of the relay with respect to the holding member.
