Abstract

The invention relates to a system (1) for the thermal depolymerization of plastic waste, comprising a primary reactor (2) equipped with a heating device, an inlet (3) for feeding plastic waste, an outlet (27) for discharging an aerosol mixture, and an outlet (5) for discharging the solid residue, and the first condensation unit (4), which is equipped with the first primary vessel (10) and connected to the outlet (27) for discharging the aerosol mixture and is equipped with the outlet (6) for the liquid fraction and the outlet (7) for the gaseous fraction, further comprising a secondary reactor (8) equipped with a heating device and a catalyst and connected to the first condensation unit (4) via the outlet (6) for the liquid fraction, and further comprising the second condensation unit (9) which is connected to the secondary reactor (8).wherein a siphon-like pressure barrier (26) is arranged between the primary reactor (2) and the secondary reactor (8) and is placed in the first primary vessel (10).
