Abstract

The invention relates to a device for treating a liquid containing solids, comprising a motor (1) and a housing (2), wherein the housing (2) has an inlet opening (3) and an outlet opening (4), wherein a shaft (5) driven by the motor (1) is arranged along the central longitudinal axis L of the housing (2), wherein a rotor (6) is arranged on the shaft (5) or the shaft (5) comprises a rotor (6), wherein at least one opening (8) for introducing a treatment agent is provided in the outer wall of the housing (2), wherein an injector (10) for injecting the treatment agent into a liquid containing solids is arranged in the housing (2), and has at least one passage (11) for introducing the treatment agent into the liquid containing solids, wherein a mixing chamber (12) in the form of a recess is provided on the inner circumference of the injector (10) in the region of the passage (11).wherein the rotor (6) has radially outwardly projecting turbulence elements (13) in the region of the mixing chamber (12) for turbulent mixing of the introduced treatment agent. The invention further comprises a method for treating a liquid containing solids.
