Device for reverberation reduction

Abstract

A device for reducing reverberation is described, comprising a profile rail (1) extending in a longitudinal direction (L), which has two retaining legs (3) projecting from a base (2), which include recesses (5) extending section by section in the longitudinal direction (L) and opposing each other in pairs, which form receptacles (6) for inserting acoustic elements (4) and each have several retaining elements (7) for retaining the acoustic elements (4) against an insertion direction (E).In order to enable more resource-efficient manufacturing while still ensuring a secure hold of the acoustic elements (4) and thereby creating the conditions for weight savings, it is proposed that several retention elements (7) be provided for each receptacle (6), which are spaced apart from each other in groups both in the insertion direction (E) and transversely to the insertion direction (E), whereby the distance of the retention elements (7) transversely to the insertion direction (E) varies along the insertion direction (E).
