Abstract
The invention relates to a riblet structure (1) comprising several spaced-apart, in particular wedge-shaped, longitudinal ribs (5) projecting from a base surface (6) in a main direction (H), wherein two adjacent longitudinal ribs (5) form a longitudinal channel (2) oriented in the main direction (H).To achieve high efficiency, the base surface (6) in the respective longitudinal channel (2) is provided to have a substructure (3) that is periodic in the main direction (H), wherein the substructures (3) of adjacent longitudinal channels (2) are arranged with periodicities of the substructures (3) offset from each other in the main direction (H), preferably by half a period, or the respective longitudinal rib (5) has longitudinal rib side surfaces (8) with a side surface shape (10) that is periodic in the main direction (H), wherein the side surface shapes (10) of the longitudinal rib side surfaces (8) of the respective longitudinal rib (5) have periodicities offset from each other in the main direction (H), preferably by half a period. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a riblet structure (1).
