Abstract

The invention relates to a gear (1) for a drive train for motor vehicles, in particular for motorcycles, wherein the gear (1) is divided into two parts in the radial direction and has an inner ring (4) and an outer ring (2), wherein the outer ring (2) has at least one face tooth (21) and wherein the gear (1) has a rubber-elastic damping ring (3) in radial orientation between the inner ring (4) and the outer ring (2), wherein the inner ring (4) and the outer ring (2) are connected to each other by a first retaining element (5), wherein the first retaining element (5) is firmly connected to one of the rings (4, 2) and guides the other ring (4, 2) in the radial and axial direction.
