[Solution] A clutch device according to the present invention is characterized in that: in order to optimize a pressure contact condition of a friction plate and a clutch plate in a clutch element body, a connection optimization mechanism equipped with a cam mechanism is provided; the cam mechanism is provided at the outer circumferential side as compared to the arrangement circle of a clutch spring; and upon occurrence of forward / backward torque in a transmission path, the cam mechanism causes displacement to either expand or contract a portion between a plate-receiving flange part of a clutch center and a plate-pushing ring part of a pressure plate, whereby the strength of the pressure contact condition in the clutch element body is changed either stronger or weaker and a clutch connection condition is optimized.
