Abstract

A medical device for in vitro diagnostics is presented for determining personalized therapeutic efficacy in bone cancer and bone metastases from other types of cancer. The invention is a hydrogel that simulates the bone extracellular matrix, comprising bicompatible polymers and micropulverized decellularized bone matrix. A bioink is also presented, which, together with this hydrogel, contains cellular elements obtained from various pathologies present in bone tissue. This mixture is used to create an in vitro diagnostic medical device, for which bioprinting is performed on an automated system. This in vitro diagnostic medical device allows for the evaluation of different chemotherapeutic and immunotherapeutic treatments to personalize the efficacy of the therapies recommended to the patient.
